You can use my Mac with iOS

You can use my Mac with iOS

Hello ifixer2,

Thank you for using communities of Apple Support.

No, you need two or more Mac computers that meet the following requirements to use Back to My Mac:

What you'll need

To configure and use Back to My Mac, you need these things:

  • Two or more Mac computers that use the same account iCloud on OS X Lion v10.7.5 or later version.
  • A Terminal supported access AirPort (AirPort Extreme, AirPort Express or AirPort Time Capsule) or other Internet router that supports UPnP or NAT - PMP protocol, with the latest firmware available. AirPort base stations require version of firmware 7.6.1 or later for Back to My Mac.
  • Utility airPort 6.3 or later.
  • For screen sharing, a 300 Kbits/s-or-more rapid, bidirectional (high-low) Internet connection between computers. You may be able to use with slower connections to share files. If file sharing doesn't work as you think, check your settings and connections.
  • A firewall that allows remote connections. Some firewalls may prevent some back to my Mac connections. For example, when you're at home, don't maybe not able to connect you to your Mac at work. But when you're at work, you might be able to connect to your Mac at home. If you are not sure if the firewall will allow the back to my Mac connections, check with the network administrator for your organization.

If you want to use an AirPort Extreme or airport Time Capsule to access files on a hard drive external, you need a Mac OS extended (journaled) formatted USB hard drive. When you use with Back to My Mac, your hard drive is displayed as the base under shared in the sidebar station Finder.

Set up and use Back to My Mac

Take care.

  • You can use Photoshop CC with Crossfire?

It is not a matter of performance, just a matter of compatibility. I tried upgrading my system of monitors of two 4 k, the system is a Jack-of-all-trades. To play games, work and general use.

The video card, I only have 1 DP and 1 HDMI 1. 4A port and I can't run the 2nd display at 60 hz. For some reason, it's listen Windows 10. I have my license on board graphics and used the DP for the 2nd screen and Windows works fine, but Photoshop will crash every time that loading with activated GPU acceleration and cards 2 graphics.

My next option is to buy a 2nd card identical to my current ATI card and use the Display Port on the 2nd card. What I've read, it should work with Photoshop. But it's a hell of a waste of money basically just get a 2nd Display Port access. If I buy another ATI card, I assure you, I can at least make use of the card in the games and run in Crossfire and have no problems with Photoshop.

Anyone had luck get Crossfire work well with Photoshop CC? I have once again, that I don't really like to run faster Photoshop, just that this is going to work and still provide access to all the new features that are beginning to demand the GPU acceleration.

    Hi CodeMonkeyX

    Please see the discussion below.

  • You can use a DVD with Apple TV

    Hello;

Can I connect a USB Super Drive DVD Apple player to my computer and watch a movie on my TV using Apple TV, or should I just connect the USB Super DVD player to one of the TV's USB slots?

The DVD player will be blocked since mirroring because of copy protection. I do not connect a Superdrive drive to the TV would work, you'd be better to use a DVD player to your TV.

  • You can use a control with the premier surface / audition?

Is there an area of control or Tablet out there that works seamless with the Prime Minister and hearing? I clean up audio on the daily and must work super fast. My wrists are starting to kill me and I need to put in place. I would use my mouse and keyboard as little as possible!

Everything I do in hearing can be quick access keys. I do not work with multitrack. A lot of cleaning of the dialog box.
Everything I do to the Prime Minister, again, is simple and can be quick access keys

Would love some dials to zoom / scroll / audio gain... all this is constant.

All the control surfaces that can be used with hearing are intended for mixing. Thus they consist mainly of a Bank of faders, buttons and touches of channel selection as well as the transport controls. They are not really a program of prophylaxis of the governed. However, one that might be of interest is Contour Designs' http://ergo.contour-design.com/ergonomic-mouse/shuttlepro-v2. There is a certain button models already available for hearing and well first they are all customizable user with the provided editing software.

  • Can I upgrade to iOS 10 using a Mac with OS (10.8.5) Mountain Lion?

Can someone tell me if I can sync to my iPhone 6 with iTunes using a Mac with the (10.8.5) Mountain Lion?

This is what Apple is the list for the iPhone 7 that runs iOS 10.

    • Sync with iTunes on a Mac or a PC requires:

My daughter is running Lion on his MacBook Pro and was synchronize its iOS iOS 9.3.5 devices. The requirements for iOS 9 call for Cougar 10.8.5. It will never update via iTunes - always on WiFi - and I think that's how she got away with it. I don't know if it will work this time with iOS 10.

  • You can use an external hard drive with the Mac Mini?

I've seen videos that say that we cannot increase the ram on a min of Mac, but I'm curious if this works like an ordinary computer, if we can attach an external hard drive to store some of the memory to free up space. Sorry if this is something stupid just need to know what I can do with it.

You can use an external hard drive to boot and run with any Mac. Its not going to improve or replace your ram. If you use a mechanical hard drive in any Mac then help and boot from an external drive, especially if it's a SSD will be significantly faster.

You can use a connection network and something like ScreenRecycler
