You need Adobe pro in order to use the recognition of text on a MAC?

I have the plan of PDF from Adobe and I can't seem to find how to use the text recognition feature.  Do I need the Pro version to use this feature?

Hello

Yes, you need Acrobat Pro edition to allow text recognition. Unfortunately, this feature is not available in Adobe reader.

Kind regards

Mohamed
