You want the Narrator at the start

Removal of startup

Go to control panel-> Ease of Access Center-> explores accessibility-> all settings-> use the computer without a display. Clear the checkbox by turn the narrator and click Save.  Reboot and it should no longer start at startup.

I hope this helps.

Good luck!

    Restore point:

Try typing F8 at startup and in the list of Boot selections, select Mode safe using ARROW top to go there > and then press ENTER.

Try a restore of the system once, to choose a Restore Point prior to your problem...

Click Start > programs > Accessories > system tools > system restore > choose another time > next > etc.

If restore work not and you do not have a Vista DVD from Microsoft, do a repair disc to do a Startup Repair:

Download the ISO on the link provided and make a record of repair time it starts.

Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.

When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.

    Hi Ant classmates.

I am facing a problem with my 8460p ElliteBook. When I press the Start button it won't start and I need to apply some mechanical vibrarions so he reacts to the button. I guess that there is a problem with a connection inside. The thing is that he does not always fail, but it happens more often. I'm afraid to send it to HP support and resume with a message like "the problem didn't see the - up." I'm close to the date limit of warranty, but I need my laptop for 3 more weeks for professional issues. What should I do?

    Hello

When you turn on the computer, you must quickly look at the bottom of the screen.

It should tell you right there what key press to enter the Bios/Setup

Here is the information from HP on how to enter the Bios/Setup.

"The Boot order in the system BIOS Setup.

    The boot order configuration

The boot order can be configured on the Advanced tab in the BIOS Setup menu. The procedure for changing the boot order may vary according to the model of the computer.
NOTE: BIOS configurations vary depending on the computer. For more information on a specific computer, refer to the documentation provided with your computer or visit HP drivers and downloads page . The BIOS settings are usually listed in the Guide of Service and Maintenance.
Follow the steps below to configure the order of boot on most computers.
    1. Turn on or restart the computer.
    2. While the display is clear, press the f10 key to enter in the settings menu of the BIOS.
NOTE: the BIOS setting menu is accessible by pressing the "f2" or key f6 on some computers.

    3. Select the Advanced tab using the arrow keys left and right.
    4. Use top and down arrow keys to select the boot order .
    5. Follow the on-screen instructions to change the boot order.

    Hello

Thanks for posting in the HP Support forum.

It's Windows user account control program step by step > > http://windows.microsoft.com/en-gb/windows/what-is-user-account-control#1TC=windows-7

It happens because the program needs additional privileges to work and because it is not digitally signed (aka Windows cannot check the owner). This program seems to come from an HP, but it is not required for the operation of your computer. You can safely remove the exe in C:\programFiles (x 86) \Hewlett Packard\SetupManager\hpDST.exe

You can go to control panel > > programs and features, find HP Support Assistant, or something with the name of the HP configuration manager and uninstall them.

If the problem persists or you are unable to find the program, please let me know - there are more things that can be used.

  • How do you use BER if the value that you want the user to enter is 0?

I have several TEB on a slide, but the value of input from the user to one of the ETB must be 0.  If the user clicks on the button submit without entering any value in the TEB, which is equal to zero, it will mark it as correct. I tried to set the value of the variable of the ETB 1 and then in the conditional action that I when the variable of the ETB is 0 perform different actions, but I get the same result.  I use 8 Captivate.  Any help would be appreciated!

Well, I thought that out, but just in case someone already has this problem I'll explain what I did.  I did a tip for the slide action on enter and set the variables TEB 1 requiring the user to enter 0.  So if the user clicks on submit without entering values, the TEBs equal 0 would be marked wrong.

I put t know which model of laptop and what OS you use and I assume that you are writing about the key features of FN and maps flash, right?

By default, Toshiba flash cards must start with Windows and must be enabled in the boot options.
If you want to check this option start run (Win + R key), put msconfig and click OK.
When the configuration of the system is open, go to the Startup tab and check if there is a check mark before Toshiba Flash cards. If it isn't put there and confirm with OK.

This problem with the display is really strange to me. If you use the right display driver everything should be OK and he didn't need a calibration or anything else.
When you have bought this laptop and started to use it were there, everything is OK with the display? I think so.

Your laptop factory settings or you use clean install of the OS?
