  The screeshot above shows a gap. At the top of page 2 (front), there is a permanent single line of the paragraph on page 1 (arrow in attachment). I need a script to identify such cases throughout the document. It is possible find and alert pages use this kind of orphans by Javascript. He was aware of a paragraph if single line comes in the document.

  I'll take the no. page 1 lines and can compare with page 2, if all lines are from page 1, then count the lines, whether it will be greater than 1, then alert orphan. Maybe that's what I think about it for the script.

  Hmm, works very well for me. Either your document contains something that I have not taken into account, it is related to the changes made between CS5 (you seem to be running) and CS3 (which I am still on) which would be difficult for me to solve the problems. Oh and the new code replaces the old code entirely, do not put the old and new versions in the same file.

  I read my threads where people are facing this error blue screen dead on Windows 8, the cases are different but this error message is the same, I share picture of the error message, it looks like this.

  

  My case

  In my case when I turn the laptop for the first time it freezes, displays this error message and restarts normally. On the home screen, it shows me a message send this problem to Microsoft. Laptop works very well subsequently without any problem, even if I reboot later it loads fine, but if I stopped and starts from at the moment, it shows same error screen. When I look into the details, it shows me these details. draw the image.

  

  I did it as a result of things to understand the issue:

  • I thought it's a software problem, so I format my windows disk and reinstall Windows8 - the issue has not been resolved.
  • One of my friends suggested me for a complete format, I moved my data to external HARD disk, formatted my entire drive, deleted partitions, make new partitions and installed Windows 8 - the issue has not been resolved.
  • Someone suggested from material with my HDD to check it out, so I used a different HARD drive, formatted, deleted partitions, made new partitions and installed Windows 8 - the problem persists.
  • Restore all settings to the default BIOS - the problem persists.
  • I have connected HDD my friend with Windows 7 to check my machine and it worked fine.

  In my research, I can't understand what is really the cause of this accident, there would not be any software parameter or virus as on formatting windows that all this problem would have been solved. It is not the HARD drive for sure as I have done everything I know to see if it's the HARD drive that is causing the problem.

  Dear members and experts from Microsoft, this is the first time I participate on this forum and think that I explained everything concerning the problem I face and the research I did to solve this problem, I eventually failed, please guide me how I can solve it. My laptop is out of warranty and I don't want to pay for something that I do not know exactly.

  These related to the amd_sata.sys AHCI Advanced Micro Devices 1.2 device driver. Update to win 8.1 should solve this problem.  If it isn't, you should check for motherboard update update BIOS and drivers.

  Safe mode is only running with the bare minimum of tasks and processes to start Windows.  Normal mode adds a bunch of other "stuff" to this mixture.  The conclusion is that you have a program or task that is running in Normal mode but does not work in Mode safe which is causing your problem.  General approach to solve problems like this is an iterative process, in which case you disable certain parts of the stuff that runs when you start your computer normally. There is a built-in tool to help with this called 'msconfig' (start-> Run-> "msconfig").  Another tool is "AutoRuns" from Microsoft

  Using msconfig, you must start safe mode, then start in "msconfig".  Start by clicking on "Selective startup" and uncheck "Load Startup items".  Click "OK" and restart your computer normally and see if the problem disappears.  If this is the case, relaunch msconfig, click on the "Startup" tab and start allowing items by touches with a reboot inbetween.  If this does not resolve your problem, try unchecking the "Load System Services" tab and repeat.  The General procedure is described here:

• How do Parameters.Result used as a reminder? How is it different from Parameters.Step.Result?

  I searched reference manuals TestStand, help and the forums, and I have not yet found exactly how Parameters.Result should be used in callbacks (if at all).

  I am trying to find a way to take a step that normally is not registered in the list of results and force it to appear on the rare occasions that it will fail. I think I should use the result, but I don't know how.  If I set Parameters.Step.RecordResult = True, then the step attaches to record results, but which seems to be permanent in the sequence file, and AFTER THAT failure becomes declared.

  By browsing the SequenceFilePostResultListEntry I finally discern the difference between Parameters.Step.Result and Parameters.Result, which is visible at run time:

  Parameters.Result has a TS container, which refers to the stage, giving information such as StepGroup, StepName, StepType, among others. Its results-oriented properties are identical to the Parameters.Step.Result properties, I can say.

  Parameters.Step.Result has a container TS large type TEInf that seems to be the test information administration.

  There seems little back than I expected, but that's it.

  I'm partially through to shift my paradigm - save all the results and then throw those no interest. I ended up adding a status string 'RecordAlways' to force certain steps to record each time, and I throw any which are not equal to or 'Pass', 'Fail', 'Error' or 'done '. It works pretty well so far.

• Brightness screen Flexview T42p

  I just received my T42p (2373-C96) of IBM refurbed the other day. (To experience FlexView!) The machine is a refurb, no doubt about that. Small scratch cover, used battery, DVD player which took the region reset several times already. But the screen is what worries me. It's just not as bright as any of the other the GST, I own. Is this normal for FlexViews? Shadows Ghost in the lower corners are almost an inch in height, more, much larger than any other of my GST. Is reduced brightness and shadow ghosts more indicative of a FlexView display who is on its way?

  It's very subjective, I understand, but is it normal for a FlexView? How difficult it will be to get this replaced, because it is a subjective matter? I'm still in my return period of 7 days.

  Start the PC in safe mode then go back to the display settings and set the resolution to a lower level.

  You start in Mode safe by constantly pressing the F8 key as your PC starts. A menu will appear and you must select the Safe Mode option.

  Once you have changed the screen resolution, you can restart your PC normally.

  Make sure that you "only" to select an output of the range option.

• Windows 7 dreaded blue screen

  I get the Blue Screen of Death.   I also see in the message at the bottom box to the right, a problem with ATI Graphics Driver.  When I try to solve the problem I get the following

  This solution could not be downloaded most likely causes: Your computer was unable to download the solution at this time. Make sure that your computer is connected to the Internet and then try to download the solution later.

  I did tests of the complete system, with free Avast and Malwarebytes. still have the problem.  I also ran the SFC/SCANNOW, and I got the BSOD while doing this and could not finish.

• request on inactivating a job dbms_refresh

  Hi all
  We have a 11.2.0.2 base of windows that is running on a Win 2008R2. I feel bad how to kill two jobs in double that is activated in auto & is created automatically, even after using dbms_refresh.destroy. These red refresh the MView jobs every time.

  Normally you would when you create your mview as part of the CREATE MATERIALIZED VIEW of [url http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E11882_01/server.112/e26088/statements_6002.htm#i2116443] statement.
  When you want a mview which refreshes periodically, you use the UPDATE... START BY... NEXT... a part of the statement.
  When you want a mview who don't not refresh unless you tell her, you use the UPDATE... WE ASK... the part of the statement.

  When you need to change this after the fact, you have the statement ALTER MATERIALIZED VIEW [url http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E11882_01/server.112/e26088/statements_2002.htm#i2233205].

  If you want a periodically refreshed mview but simply not hourly, you might also consider changing the formula NEXT to your mview get updated only once every night, rather than once per hour.

  (I mean, someone has created your mview to update every hour - then perhaps that someone is waiting for it to refresh periodically ;-)))

• Import data from RCMP of PROD to TEST - can I exclude attachments?

  I have RCMP Oracle Content Server 7.8 application.
  
  Need your expert advise on how to handle this situation. I need update my TEST instance with data from PROD. To do this, I intend to import the metadata of content and the PROD database server to the TEST.
  
  But I'm challenged by the fact that prod attachments are sensitive security and cannot be imported. Can I exclude attachments duing the import / export of the process? the archiver has such an ability to exclude attachments when I create a file to archive data from PROD?

  As chance would have...

  Attachments stored using the ZipRenditionManagement component is stored only in the weblayout and NOT the vault.

  So if you want that the spare part to disappear on the TEST server when you create your archiver export on PROD make sure you disable the OPTION (by default it is enabled) option Copy Web content in export on the general tab Options.

  This means that only the copy of the Vault will move through in the file archive 'batch '. The only fly in the ointment is that if you have the PDF etc. conversions or anything funky going on with the copy of weblayout this process will have to be redone in TEST - but this isn't normally a big headache.

  Import this test and you will not all attachments.

  You can run a form directly from a browser, assuming that the HTTP listener is running. In the case of Developer Suite, this would be OC4J. So, follow these steps:

  1 locate and open this file: ORACLE_HOME\install\portlist.ini

  2. take note of the value for ' * Oracle Developer Suite HTTP port. " It will probably be something like 8888 and 8889 or 8890 or something similar.

  3. start OC4J using the shortcut created during installation. It will be labeled something like "Start an OC4J Instance". This will open a DOS window. Do not close IT. Leave this session BACK will end the listener.

  4 once OC4J has initialized (you will see "... initialized" in the DOS window) open a browser and enter the following (replace you with host name and port requested in step 2 and form):

  http://YourHostname:port/forms/frmservlet?form=C:\myForms\helloworld.FMX

  If you are not able to get OC4J to initialize and remain running, attempts to run a form will fail. Also, if your machine is not registered DNS you can have problems using the host name in the URL. Instead use 'localhost' or '127.0.0.1 '. For example:

• How the media recovery is possible in this case?

  BONE broke down due to power problem. I restarted the operating system and it started with questions. But in the alerts log, I found the following message appears when oracle tries to open the database.
  ERROR on line 1:
  ORA-01113: file 6 needs media recovery
  ORA-01110: data file 6:
  ' D:\ORACLE\PRODUCT\10.2.0\ORADATA\TEST\ES_PRODUCTION1. DBF'
  
  It's just a database test and no with no backup archivelog mode at all. Once again, I see this message I thought to drop the tablespace that contains 6 data file and create the new tablespace and then import it with the data, I'll have the dump of the export of this tablespace.
  
  But before you do something, for a test, I just published
  SQL > restore database;
  SQL > alter database open;
  And to my surprise she succeed to open the database on all issues and the DB works now normal.
  
  But I want to know how oracle perform media recovery when there is no backup of the BD at all with the DB in no archivelog mode.

  You have recovered the database using the redo data available in online redo log. You were lucky that you got all the necessary data for recovery within redo log.

  I studied ODM for a month now. I'm currently building a model based on the instructions that I got from a colleague.
  Function Type: Classification
  Algorithm: Support vector Machine
  -> table
  -> same unique key
  -> the same target and the input column
  -> same target value
  -> the same settings: disabled sample test, build 70% - 30% table test, everything else default table.
  -> everything else, default
  
  I have already created 6 models using exactly the same steps as above. However, I was a different test measure (predictive confidence, precision, etc.). Is this normal? Or am I just missed a few important stages/settings?

• On the choice of APEX for the project of development of database applications

  I intend to develop APPLICATIONS of DATABASE based on the customers requirements and also some standard DATABASE applications on finances, inventory, pay etc. I have a concern about finalization on APEX for standard applications. or m set an additional scope of this application.
  
  -Will most likely use XE or Oracle database standard (in some cases)
  -Maximum number of simultaneous users 20.
  -Max 300 paintings. Entered maximum would go to 100,000 in some tables of the transaction.
  -Max 50 Transaction Forms. Forms of master 100.
  -Some complex, matrix, master-detail reports would be required 100.
  -Application requires data recovery, storage and reporting. Triggers and procedures will be necessary.
  
  -Max development force 6 pers.
  -Planning for standard applications.
  
  Pls let me know your opinion, if I can bet on APEX to:
  1 rapid application development
  2 maintainability
  3 multiple user management
  4. treatment volume
  5 will be able to manage all the complexity required for database applications.
  6. I will not consider Oracle forms (should I?)
  7. users want to see the reports in simple old format on the screen and print if necessary.

  OK - I answered your other thread with a few suggestions for you.

  There are a number of modules that you can use. I use FireFox with Web Developer and FireBug (which is the most useful tool there is). There are others that allow to control the appearance of the pages definition Apex themselves (for example, you can correct the height of the textareas) but I do not use (it is a tool that is generic and not specific to one for Apex but allows you to override the css style for objects on a page of the site). Web Developer allows css/javascript debugging and FireBug helps with page html structure and style - it also has features that allow you to follow the page how long take to load components (very useful if there is a problem somewhere). There are equivalents for IE - I've used them, but it was some time ago and I don't remember their names.

  For my applications, the user just prints the report using the normal printing/archiving on the browser or exports data and formats in Excel. In some cases, of course, there are page elements that shouldn't be included - this is where the page template Print Version is used. I know that some users on here frown using HTML for printing the reports - I'm sure that there are advantages/disadvantages to this, so it depends on how 'professional' reports should be, BI Publisher can therefore worth the expense. There are some freebies available for printing (for example, JasperReports) and there are those who like PLPDF ([http://www.plpdf.com]), which are relatively cheap.

  To link a button to a process - this is done by clicking on the button in the parameter "when button pressed" on the process definition. What process does, depends entirely on what you need to do at this time. The process would be PL/SQL, so could do something.

  Navigation would depend on what you want to browse. Reports come with different options for pagination - including the first/last, previous/next. Some pages of form wizard generated will also include navigation buttons to move between records - but they can be added manually if necessary (I have a thread somewhere that explains how this can be done using one of the many methods).

  For your other questions...

  1 - click back to move between page elements is one thing to javascript. Be aware, however, that in a return form is usually used to trigger sending
  2 right-alignment - in reports, it is just a setting on a column. For forms, it is style that can be applied on the element or by using css
  3 - formatting numbers is done on the column definition in a report. Digital formats can be applied to input fields, but it is more complicated because the formatting must be removed before the digital field can be updated (always feasible, but)
  4. "restrictions" - it could mean a number of things. SQL is a CASE statement which allows the conditional discharge. Apex has authorization plans that limit access to pages/Articles. JavaScript and/or SQL may be used to verify the top entries / tiny.
