  • Freeze YouTube videos in full screen with Firefox, but not other browsers.

I had a hard time watching YouTube videos in Firefox in recent weeks. Basically, the video does not start and if I keep using small video player it works fine. But if I click on full screen, the video stops for a few seconds, then catch up and repeat this operation until the end of the video. However the sound plays always continuously throughout the video, even though the image is frozen. I don't have this problem in Internet Explorer or Google Chrome, and it only happens on one of the three computers that I use Firefox on. I ran Malwarebytes Anti Malware, Kaspersky Internet Security, and Windows Defender full scans, so I'm fairly certain that it is not malware or a virus that is causing the problem.
I also tried the following without result: reset Firefox, Firefox run in SafeMode with no addons, reinstalling Firefox (more an another clean reinstall), reinstall Flash player

I can't understand what is wrong, and Firefox is my favorite browser, so any help would be appreciated.

Before restarting my OS in safe mode, I checked to see if I still had the problem and now he is gone magically. I did no change at all since yesterday when it was not working properly and now it's fine. Kind of strange. anyway thanks for your help, that's why I love Mozilla so.

  • How to disable the screen saver when you watch videos in full screen in firefox?

This only happens with Firefox, other browsers videos play normally and without interruption. I want to keep my window screen saver by default but not when watching full-screen mode.

The Flash Player plugin must normally block the system to go to sleep, reduce the brightness of the display or go to the screen saver when you are using full-screen. It is strange that you have this problem with Flash.

There are workaround solutions such as the use of an add-on or an external program that simulates the movement of your mouse, but those who really shouldn't be necessary.

    VLC, I don't know.

Furthermore, you closed and restarted Windows because this problem first occurred? Just in case where some component shared Windows crashed.

  • How do I extend my video in MPEG (720 x 480) full screen-to-screen wide (1, 280 x 720)?

    I have an R2 - 3500 Digital Media Recorder...

    http://www.inxtron.com/files/manual/r23500_en.PDF

.. .which records only in format MPEG-1 standard (page 32).  For most devices, it is 720 x 480, which I believe is DVD quality.  If I choose high quality (HQ, page 28), one hour of video fills a standard 4.7 GB DVD set.  That's what I use now.

My TV Gets HD 1 280 x 720 transmission.  I have several parameters, HD is one of them, is so video, which is the only selection on which work my DVR.  But the normal transmission of video is 720 x 480; the transmission of TV coming through which means that the parameter is pressed.  I need to change the aspect to the scale setting in order to obtain a normal image of 1280 x 720, as part of the video.

From there, I can start to record.  During playback, the video played normally (that is, it displays the video to 1280 x 720) as long as I have my setting of video aspect of the TV nationally.

This is where it gets tricky, because I still have to test this on my machine, but I've seen what happens when I play my DVD (recorded on a standard DVD player) on my machine: if I try to play my MPEG video recording on my computer, in Windows Media Player or any other type of media program, the video will be shown once in a press , mode full screen; most likely, 720 x 480.

How do I extend my recorded video to the resolution of 1280 x 720, in which it would be displayed?  And how can I make the stretched video permanently, before I try to transfer it to DVD or Blu - ray?

  • YouTube won't play full screen on Chrome

When I select full screen, window stays, the same size, but moves at the top left of the screen. I go into settings and my hardware acceleration of the reduction option is gone, it used to be here... This only happens in YouTube, other videos on different sites, I can select full screen without problem, even if the acceleration of the reduction option went there too. Now I have only 4 options to choose in local contexts. He also went global settings.

I tried to clear the caches etc... no joy. It works fine on IE9 for me, but I've always used Chrome & GMail and do not want to stop.

I use Windows Vista Business 32-bit SP2, my browser is Google Chrome Version 26.0.1410.64 my Flash version is 11.7.700.179, which is the correct version for my browser and the operating system is up-to-date. Windows, Chrome and Flash upgrades are all topical.

I've been on the forums, I have enabled plug-ins, I erased and deleted the caches and Adobe files and it is now getting boring.

I realize there was an update recently, but I don't want to start messing around on uninstalling and digging at the earlier versions etc... Is not just intended to be incorporated into Chrome and updated automatically so that users can avoid doing these kinds of things.

If anyone can help, I would be grateful. If you need to know anything else, please ask.

    Thank you

    Martin

I have passed this along to our Chrome team for their contribution.  Did you notice a difference if you switch to the system of Flash Player version?

  • every time I try to watch a video of youtube/4OD ect on full screen I hear but a blank white screen, how to fix?

How can I activate watch it full screen?

This question is most often due to activated hardware acceleration.

    1. open any flash video in any browser (if he plays well in fullscreen).
    2. right click inside the video, then select settings.
    3. Select display settings (the first icon looks like a monitor).
    4. uncheck "enable hardware acceleration".

Reopen the browser and check if the video is now in full screen.

    Response if this can help!

  • Why itunes update causes Firefox to crash?

My husband tried to update itunes so it could add music to his ipad. He plugged his ipad to our PC and tried to download music. However, he was told he had to update itunes. When he goes to access the update, we lost our internet connection. I guess that Firefox has crashed. He was able to restore the connection, but it took a lot of effort. How could we prevent the accident and how could we have restored more quickly? iTunes seems to wreak havoc with our PC whenever we need to make an adjustment. Why is this?

      Thank you for your help.

I do not, please contact Apple support.

If the update to the latest version of Trusteer does not help then you should disable Trusteer for now and to contact their support site.

I didn't Trusteer to start a session of remote access with me, so they could study the issue happening in real time, but I kept a record and since June 6 (with report of Trusteer on) I had no problem with Firefox v.38.0.
