Z50-75: gradient colors, color banding, dark / dim display (display faulty?)

I'm having a horrible gradient on my new Z50-75 problem. Everything else seems good, but the quality of the display is terrifying. I'm afraid that this is not an unprecedented case. Is it possible if this Lenovo would sell such a display in 2014? I literally counted the shades of colors. First I thought it was a software problem, I checked all possible settings, gamma, saturation, brightness, bitrate etc. but they all seem fine. They promote this laptop as a multimedia device; screen restores all features multimedia strains. The nuances in the 1080 p movies count? Please tell me it's fixable.

  • gradient color in JDE 4.5

    I use Jde 4.5. I want to fill a rectangle with a gradient color effect rounded edge. I know it can be done in 4.6 above using the base class. Is it possible to do the same thing in 4.5 also

    4.5, you don't exactly "set background".  You paint using drawTexturedPath (drawBitmap that draws a rectangle, but you want a rounded, so drawTexturedPath is suitable).  For more information on how to create the correct path and types of points for a rounded rectangle, look here;

    Code of blackBerry to a rectangle rounded with gradient fill

    This article, however, uses the net.rim.device.api.ui.decor methods, which are not available prior to 4.6. You need to replace it with their drawShadedFilledPath with your drawTexturedPath.  DrawTexturedPath settings should be as follows:

    xPts, yPts, pointTypes - remove the above article

    offsets - null (once again, as in the article)

    xOrigin, yOrigin - 0, 0

    DUX, dvx, duy, dvy - Fixed32.toFP (1), 0, 0, Fixed32.toFP (1) respectively (you do not rotate or scaling the bitmap, are you?  Hell, maybe you are - if you use fields of different heights.  Then look at the parameter dvy)

    Bitmap - any Bitmap that you generate using suggestion of Hithredin.

    Good luck!

  • Files NAVE corrupted with streaks of color bands? Is - this transfer or LightRoom?

    Background: A recent photo shoot several thousand pictures taken with a D800. Filming consisted of several sets. After each game, the NAVE full size were copied from the SD in an external SSD through MacBook Pro 2014 using the internal SD port to computers and cable USB3 on the external drive. A replacement SD card was placed in the D800 before each new series. Each game was transferred to a new folder that separates them from other sets. At the location of a preview of the NAVE, using Finder revealed no anomalies. Back home, Lightroom CC is used to treat this shoot. Before importing, is built a new catalog set and then each imported set. All sets are imported without incident. All the games have been set to export JPEGs for customer feedback. They were recorded on a second SSD. It is during the download of JPEG files in a cloud that I noticed abnormalities in a set of photos. Almost every photo in this set has stripes of color. I went back to the SSD to discover not only JPEG images with streak that the NAVE had the same damage too. All other series of photos show no signs of damage. It is isolated to only a set of photos. You should know that the abnormalities have different profiles. Some are diagonal. Some are horizontal. The randomness is curious in itself. I can't exclude that SD has been damaged, badly connected, or other posibiliries. My question is:

    1. How can I begin to repair this batch of files?

    2 is there any program out there designed for extract to repair the embedded JPEGs of the NAVE parent.

    3. is there a program that can repair the JPEG files affected by this type of digital corruption?

    4. what makes someone experience or technique similar default using one program other than Lightroom?

  • Question of Tablet pressure. Possible to set the pressure gradient color =?

    Hello!

    Not sure if this is possible, but here's what I would do:

    Tablet pressure equal to the gradient colors.

    If I put the primary and secondary colors. The lighter I caress the closest color.
    Example of
    Color A = Blue
    Color B = Red

    Stroke light blue =
    Blow hard = red
    Way races = purple

    That would make really quick rough colouring I think. Can it be done?

    / EDIT: also is possible in Gradients to use more advanced settings? Instead of having just 2 colors and a hotline between them, could I make a curved line? It's not as important as the main issue.

    Hard to explain

    Sorry, neither of the two options are possible.

  • In a STC, dark scenes have reduced bit depth or color band heavy

    Hello. I master a short film that I have edited.

    At all stages, it is REC 709, including the graduate master,

    I have imported it into AE for resizing (anamorphic lenses were used) and above all, to slow up to 24 images per second for STC.

    This has worked well and the STC, I created with AE and SOUL played perfectly in a test film.

    .. .with the exception of a very dark scene in a red tent lit from outside, where the stage become a mess of essentially four strips of red color.

    I saw in the grade and the output file (dnxHD185x) more than enough information color/luma to do all the details in this scene, but I am confused as to why he disappeared the number of bits of the RSD.

    My AE project is 16 bit and I won't present any color space management, the rest of the film looks perfect.

    I guess what I'm looking for is for AE or SOUL to "procrastinate" better gradients, without necessarily slapping artificial grain on the stage to force better dither.

    Any thoughts? Thanks for your time.

    What version of SOUL are you running? Specifically, what is the version if you go to help > about?  I ask this question because we published 8.0.1 DCP to solve the problem with dark scenes of update.

  • Photoshop questions color bands appear in the PSD files?

    I hope I can get help with a problem I've had with Photoshop or my PC.   I use Photoshop to make the illustration work.  My problem is that some of the work files I've saved get magenta or green strips through them when I reopen it.  This has happened more recently.  They are not a few strips of color, it's like a bunch of a part of the illustration is projected onto another area, and this band discolour the part of the illustration it is superimposed on.    Files of closing and reopening will not fix the image, or don't restart PS, but restarting the computer succeeded in restoring the images, however, corruption continues happening randomly with other files.   Anyone know what is the cause and what can I do about it?    I tried to disable the graphics processor and change the drawing to basic mode, etc.   I don't know if the problem is from photoshop, my pc or my graphics card. So far, only to restart my PC will correct the image, but I really want to solve this problem, so he continued to occur.

    Thank you very much for your time!

    Here's an article on it: corruption - file recovery corrupted Photoshop cs6 - Super User

    Outside the hibernation cause problems, perform a routine maintenance, disk cleanup, check the disk Defragmention and of course as suggested, turn on the history of the file or the shadow copy.

  • Three vertical gradient color Muse

    Hi all

    I want to have a background gradient in Muse. I found there was a very simple way to do it, but I can choose only two colors.

    My client wants to have a three colored vertical gradient background, is it possible in Muse?

    The top should be black, black to turquoise in the middle and back to black again once downstairs.

    I know there is a way to add a picture to the background, but I think it will make my site very heavy and bulky to load, and it must stretch and shrink if browser varies in length and width.

    I have the HTML script for this kind of gradient, and I know that I can add an HTML element in Muse, but I don't know how it works for a background.

    I hope someone can help me!

    Thank you!

    Caroline

    Hello Sir,

    According to the guidelines of the muse works only two colors can be used to create a gradient. Although you can create Gradient in Photoshop using more than three colors and later versions, you use the image created in the Muse.

    Kind regards

  • 'globalisation' of gradient color in CSS

    HY

    I use in my CSS file, a sort of "global": definitions

    .root {}
    -custom-color: #666666;
    }

    button {}
    -fx-background-color: color - custom -;
    }

    as I tried to make a 'global' gradient as

    .root {}
    -custom gradient: #F8F8F8, linear-gradient(#F8F8F8 0%, #E4E4E4 50%, #CCCCCC 100%).
    }

    I could not use this definition on my button (gradient did not appear)

    button {}
    -fx-background-color:-custom gradient;
    }

    It is known, or I'm doing something wrong with the gradient?

    BR

    Ok. I see it now. The question is this. The parser knows not that - custom-gradient is a [,] *. He sees the hex-digit hash and analysis as a color and then jumps on the entrance, that he does not understand until it hits the semicolon. I'm surprised that the parser spits a warning "I don't know how analyze it".

    The solution is that you must specify your layers in the background color - fx - and have - custom-gradient be just one

    .root{
        -custom-focus-color: #29420C;
        -custom-gradient: linear-gradient(#29420C 0%, #53801C 30%, #5E9718 100%);
    }

    .button {
        -fx-background-color: -custom-focus-color, -custom-gradient;
    }

  • Shapelayer gradient color value

    Hello

    Is it possible to get color data (color, opacity, location, the orientation of the gradient) of a gradient in a shapelayer by script fill?

    grad.jpggrd.jpg

    I can get the property with:

    myShape.property("ADBE_Vector_Graphic-G-Fill").property ("ADBE vector Grad colors");

    But its 'value' field has no real value. It contains an error.

    gradient.jpg

    Sorry for the German screenshot.

    Any info would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you!

    Hello

    I don't have access to the right of the AE, so cannot check, but the value of the gradient is very probably type "custom value", so cannot be displayed. AE provides no script info/framework for this type of data.

    On your screenshot of the propertyValueType is 5212. To find out what he is pointing you can do:

    type var = myShape.property("ADBE_Vector_Graphic-G-Fill").property ("ADBE vector Grad Colors") .propertyValueType, key;

    (key in PropertyValueType) if (PropertyValueType [key] = type) {alert (key); break ;};}

    You will probably receive an alert 'CUSTOM', in which case there is nothing you can do.

    Xavier.

  • Identify the original text gradient color

    Hello everyone.

    I need to know how to remove a gradient of text so that it becomes a solid color. I don't know the original color and I have a deficiency of the color, so I need to go through the numbers or names.

    In any case, is it possible to simply remove the gradient of the text to make it solid, but the same "base" color

    THX.

    Paul

    If you open the gradient and the panels color chart you can click on the individual in the gradient stops, and if they were created from color chart that should underline the right shade, if you see not a shade highlighted, you can get the formula of color for the decision from the Panel of color instead.

    But this does not guarantee that gradient points have something to do with the solid color, you want to apply to your type. You can use colors that you like in a gradient and any solid color, you like for the text. Remember that if you use something other than 100% k or a spot color for the type you run the risk that it will be blurred, especially in small sizes and especially if the color is pretty clear. Process colors are mixtures of points and will not have the same crisp contours as type made 100% of a single color.

  • gradient color in a nonlinear geomerty

    Hi all

    I try got a gradient of color on the outside to the inside of this geometry

    ColorGra.jpg

    the problem: the width of the gradient should be more or less the same in all areas of the Green geometry (refers to the entire spectrum of colors)

    And the gradient must go perpendicular from the outside to the inside.

    I ask a similar question a few weeks ago, but it looks like at least for me different

    Could someone help me with this problem?

    THX in advance

    In Illustrator

    (1) make the rectangles for the stripes of color

    (2) use object > blend > make the gradient

    (3) who chose to create a new Art Brush

    (4) apply this brush a path and then use the width tool to change the width of the desired regions

  • Replacing gradient colors in one Image to another

    I have two images that are logos of a game.  The Japanese version and the English version.  The Japanese version has a red theme degraded, while the English version has a green gradient theme.  I tried to find a way that I could replace the Green gradient with red degraded (so that the English logo is red) without making it look like the trash.  I tried various methods, including the color matching and trying to delete on the gradient and put it into my own, but I had no luck so this make even resemble half decent.  The Japanese version also has little yellow which I don't understand.  Only the Red gradient.

    Anyone here knows a good way to do it please?  Here are links to two images that I use:

    Thanks for any help!

    Well, you are simplifying the issue, it seems. Looks like you is not customize the color bars and all displacement around the master control. Of course, this will not give a correct result. You work in a selective way. Similarly, you probably need several adjustments, each limited to its specific lines, not one. This may include additional adjustments as the selective color on top of hue / Sat. Also try to work in different color modes. Sometimes a change of color work best in a laboratory.
