• report of initialization does not not account selection list values

  I have a problem to understand the way in which apex treats the sequence of events.
  
  I have a little select lists and checkboxes, which stores the settings for a report) the sql is issued by a plsql stored procedure).
  The items in the lists change according to different users, and values from LOV (with sql). A go button to refresh the report if you change the settings.

  The default was just an example, you can use the code you like in the query to make sure by default to the correct setting for the user. The point is that you (or rather business case) dictate how this default view should look like.

• HP Touchpad browser works only with the Cisco Valet Plus router

  I bought a 16 GB HP Touchpad several months ago and had been enjoying his excellent WiFi feature with my old G from Linksys WRT54GS wireless router until I replaced it with a new Cisco Valet Plus (model M20) wireless-N Router a couple of days.

  Although I could easily and successfully, join the Touchpad to the Cisco Valet network, browser fails most of the time to load web pages.   For example, if I go to www.yahoo.com, the browser is going to slowly load the web page, or it will expire with a pop-up message error "Impossible to load the Page.   If I try to select a link from the homepage of Yahoo, it expires with the same message.  And this happens for all web pages.  If the initial page happens at all, I can then from this page a link to any other.

  I know that the issue is not with the router because I have several other devices connected to it and they are all working well, including a laptop HP ProBook, an iPad and a Wii Console, I use to watch Netflix movies on.  None of them has a problem - only the Touchpad.

  If I go into settings-> Wi - Fi, it shows that the Touchpad is connected to Cisco network.  And when I run the diagnostic system, it shows that the Wi - Fi works correctly.

  Does anyone have an idea how to solve this problem?

  I have found a workaround that did the trick.  I had to change the channel setting auto on a coded hard 1 channel wireless.

  Now, the Touchpad works very well, as well as all other devices that have worked.

• Help with selection lists in the classic report

  I work with APEX 4.1. Oracle 11.
  
  I have a simple and classic report with 4 columns (username, role, reading, updating). The columns of the reading and the update are select list with values of 'Yes', 'no '.
  
  Report looks like this:
  
  User role name read the update
  JSmith Admin Yes Yes
  LJones Dev yes no
  
  
  My requirement is that when the user selects Yes the update select list, the value of the associated column in the reading should change Yes as well for this particular user name. Change must occur after Yes is selected in the list select update.
  
  Im not very strong with javascript, but for testing purposes I applied: onchange = "alert ('hi'); "in the update column. When I make a change to the update select list, the alert returns to its position.
  
  Can anyone suggest how I can implement the change to the value of associated reading of Yes if the selected update value is Yes, for this particular line.

• Exporting image does not with selected watermark.

  I watched all the tutorials on the export of a watermark and I still can't get mine to export the photo developed.  I read the existing entries in the forum and I just get not anywhere on this.

  I solved the problem on my own by changing some export options.  The option of resizing the Image is what I apparently had to change to resize to fit.

  Please someone help me with the following request and the possible options. I use oracle 10g database and oracle apex 4.0 version.

• Selection lists does not not on Android FF but work on default browser

  Hi, hoping for help

  Building an online game site that I'd like to work on the mobile and the PC without different versions.

  I find that the selection lists do not open on FF Android or iOS FF-mobile, even if they work fine in the default browser Android and chrome. Could someone help me debug this, or is this a problem in FF?

  There is no such thing as Firefox iOS. There is Firefox at home, who would have bookmarks Firefox Sync and the history of your iOS device. All the browsers on iOS are based on the iOS stock Safari Webkit.

• Why not the AMD graphics cards on the list work supported with Premiere Pro CS6 or CC?

  I try to get my Radeon HD 7970 to work with Premiere Pro CS6.  The official compatibility list shows that I can use this card to accelerate the Mercury playback engine.  After Effects and Photoshop CS6, both recognize the card, but Premiere Pro won't.  I tried every fix there, I contacted support and they assured me that it should work with CS6 and CC.

  I tried a fresh install of my OS and a new installation cs6, and then fully implemented to update the software.  I also tried the same thing with the trial of CC, which tells me that CC is actually just CS6 who was apparently a waste of time.

  What should I do to get a support card to actually work with Premiere Pro?

  My OS is updated, I installed the latest drivers for my GPU and also tried a fresh install of the CS6 and CC... no chance whatsoever.

  The GPP setting remains greyed out, regardless of what I do.

  It seems that AMD fixed their drivers and they now work correctly with Windows 8 Pro x 64. I'm guessing that TeamViewer put pressure on those who is too generic to actually work with Premiere Pro CC.

  They work for something else, but not here...

  Hey Mini,

  a page of type element "select list" always stores the return value (second column of your LOV) in the page element. So in your case, you actually rename the element of your page to P6_MANAGER_ID (to take into account that this is an ID) and change your 'Set Value' query for the papf.person_id

• Select lists - remember values after submit not working not not in IE7

  I have two lists of dynamic selection that are filled using .csv files.
  
  To submit, a result set is returned from two options that have been chosen.
  
  In IE7 when results are returned lists of selection by default back to the last option in the select list. I want to what ever option was chosen just as default value.
  
  I use the code below and it works as I want only it in Firefox and Safari, but just default to the last option in the list for IE7.
  
  The variable "actualLitType" is taken from the URL and should be part of the id of the selected option.
  
  Any ideas why it does not work as I would like that it in IE7?

• Satellite A100 PSAAR: Synaptics touchpad not working not not on Vista Ultimate x 64

  I decided to upgrade my XP 32 bit Vista x 64 Ultimate on my PSAAR A100.
  Operating system works perfectly except one thing - touchpad, which work perfectly under XP, is not answer at all under Vista x 64 (with SP1 of course).

  Worse, it's that my touchpad (Synaptics) is listed in as a work Device Manager correctly. Hmm - I don't remember. Meet your possible suggestions - I tried to reinstall, I tried to use the A200 drivers (since Toshiba does not support drivers for Vista x 64 for line A100) and even had the newer drivers from the Synaptics site. Update Vista even me has new drivers - cool, I admit, but it still does not work, even if Windows does not seem to "know" about any help would be very appreciated :) it...

  PS (optional problem) I also have 2 unknown according to Device Manager devices - since I have no idea what they are, and because I don't think I'm missing something - I simply gave up on top of those - at least for now ;)

  I'll try to help you with your mouse problem. To resolve this issue, try the following steps:

  1. go in Manager devices, then mouse and other pointing devices.

  2. right click on the mouse driver and select "Uninstall".
