ZERO LAPTOP REFURBISHING

IS THERE A DIFFERANCE RESETTING COMPUTER TO FACTORY SETTING OR USING YOUR REGISTERED CD.

If you are using the CD (actually much more likely to make the DVD) to rebuild your PC, you would be to rebuild.  Reconstruction or re-installation of Windows is a process of erasing the hard drive and install Windows 7 on it.  Then a long process to make about 200 updates to Windows.  Then re-setup of your application such as Microsoft Office, Antivirus, programs Java, etc.  This is followed by the back of your your backup data copying.

For experienced people, it will take between 6 to 12 hours.

I have a workstation with installed HP Win7 Pro laptop refurbished 32-bit hard disk main. I plan to buy a second new HD and install a Win 7 64 bit for having so a dual boot. I had planned out the first HD, plug the new HD and install Win7 64 bit of my DVD for refurbished computer. Plug the first Hd so I can have a dual boot with 32 or 64 bits. I like to know if the procedure is correct or do not know the exact procedure, why I do not know if in the DVD there is also Win7 64 and is also within a DVD where is.

You can do that, because the license is only for use with an architecture, 32 or 64 bits. You can't have both on the same computer. So, either you work with Windows 7 64-bit or reinstall Windows 7 32 bit on the new hard drive.

the key that can be used with 32-bit or 64-bit Windows 7 is designed to drive 1. You cannot use install both. 1 license, 1 installation, so choose wisely. If you want to install Windows 7 32 or 64 bit on another partition or another computer, you must purchase an additional license.

  • What to do with laptop refurbished, but dated with a stolen key of Win 7.

I bought a laptop there is a man a mile or two on the road. I'll call him Man. He seemed nice, and it was affordable, so I was generally satisfied. It's a Lenovo 3000 N100 with a pirated version of 64-bit Windows 7, but I didn't know that at the time. In any case, since it is an old laptop with a newish Windows version, some hardware drivers not necessary, so its features is not optimal, in addition to having an illegal version of Windows. So, at this point, should I downgrade to XP/Vista to restore some of its features, or should I trash because it's such a mess of a laptop?

Also, I contacted the man and on his business ethics, we have reached an impasse. He runs a small but remarkable company of refurbishing computers and sell them, no doubt, with the exact same Windows key that he sold me. When I confronted him, he feigned confusion and just "downloaded from the internet, and that he didn't hack anything", said that he. Is there anyone that I could mention his company, or his work too discreet and I'm just a guy throwing a fit more get cheated?

Thank you in advance for the answers.

  • Pavilion 17-g121wm: laptop refurbished with no Windows license key

    Greetings,

I just got a used Pavilion laptop. It came with 10 windows pre-loaded and is in perfect working condition, but they stripped all the stickers from him, including one with the Windows license key. If I buy the HP recovery media, it will have the license key, and it'll work on my laptop?

I'm waiting for a reminder of the repairer's customer service to see if I can get a key from them (I just call a few minutes ago). For the price I paid, I'd take a few steps to take care of this (including buying a new copy of Windows, although I'd rather not if I can avoid it).

I found it! I am so excited. I have installed and run Belarc Advisor, and he showed a ton of information, including my Windows license key. I stuck that in the right place in my settings and here! It showed that my copy of Windows has been activated before I did, but I didn't have the possibility to create recovery discs, that was my main problem. Windows has accepted the key, and now I have the ability to create a recovery disk. I get an error when I do, but I want to install an update, now that I think it will fix. If it isn't, I think it's fodder for another line of inquiry. @erico, thank you very much for all your time. I hope that this post will help someone else who may be faced with the same problem or something similar.

  • Zero PS5000e refurbishment

We have a unique production PS6000 set up for our environment vSphere 5.5 with 4 hosts connected to him via private Dell 5424 switches. We also have a unique PS5000e with 2 vsphere hosts which was our original vm environment, but we only used for analysis as the warranty has expired and we have obtained the 6000. They are on different 5424 switches and completely separate from the production environment.

The 5000 is raid 6. I want to connect to the production environment and set it to raid 10 to use for volumes of scratch for our treatment statistics windows terminal server VM, so I need to know a few things:

Reformatting of the 5000 - I know I can't change the policy of raid 6 to 10 directly in Group Manager. Is it possible to just reformat the disks I can change to 10? I care about the data on the 5,000. Or I have to reset it via the serial cable as I put in place from scratch?

When I connect the 5000 switches of production, the EQS 2 will detect the other? I'll probably want to reach berries at some point, but right now I want to separate them for simplicity and because the 5000 is longer under warranty I don't want production data on this subject.

Also, anyone saw no problem with my plan?

    Thank you.

If the current policy of RAID does not support an online conversion and the Group's other members with enough free space, a member can be converted to another RAID policy by removing the members of the Group (which resets the table) and adding it to the Group and then selecting another RAID policy.

The table does not support the conversion 'on-line' RAID6 in RAID10 because the new policy RAID provides the same or more space policy then in force.  To do this R6 to R10, you need to reset the table to reconfigure raid policy.  The table reset will delete all data and settings on the table, so plan according to (date of backup, backup of the settings in table if you plan to reuse their and/or to change after installation, the configuration of Group (table cli command 'save-config', see the CLI guide))

Add the table to the switch of production should not be a problem provided you have enough available ports (for the new table and the number of eth interfaces, you have decided to use), and the bandwidth between switches is correct (for example, if using a stacking cable or ISL make sure you have enough bandwidth for each interface eth on the berries you configuration i.e. PS6000 + the PS5000 = 7 GB (4 + 3 Eth interfaces).

Once wired, and ISL is set up to manage the additional bandwidth, run Setup on the PS5000, and when you are prompted if this table will be part of a response from existing group only.  I would say that you don't join table in the production group, as this product is now EOL (end of life).  If you add it to the existing group, remember that it will be not supported after the expiration of your current contract and at some point in the future, the firmware on the 5000 will be overwhelmed and you will not be able to update the firmware on the 6000 because of version incompatibility incompatibility issues.

Consult the manual (paper or electronic version on your computer). You can have a hidden partition. You could also have a way to make a copy of new installation media. Otherwise contact Fujitsu.

  • When downloading what on laptop it restarts immediately

Just bought a computer laptop refurbished windows xp - downloading anything it restarts immediately - any suggestions?

2 pages is my limit for threads in MS Answers (things are starting to get into the ridiculous zone sometimes!), but now you have provided more information that your system gives you these messages (there is new information) which indicate your system is not "restart" - it stops.  It is quite a big difference.

What I do when I have a system that can not go on the Internet (or in you case download) is to use an unafflicted system to download stuff, copy it into something like a USB key and carry it to the afflicted system and apply it.

If you have the system on the Internet without protection from malware, it could also be affected by this way, in order to (first apply the recommended Dell updates), and then to download something like a rescue Kasperksy CD (significant download) or something like SuperAntiSpyware Portable.

These things are designed with the thought of the mind that you could have a system that will not get on the Internet, or can not download in order to carry the scanners to the afflicted system and run them from your USB thumb drive or a bootable CD/DVD key, you can do.

I don't know for sure if that will solve your problem or not.

  • The MacBook MacBook Pro vs the 2015 2012 Air

I'm currently looking in laptops refurbished Mac as a device to program in XCode on and use it as a laptop school.

My options seem to be the 2012 MacBook Pro vs. MacBook Air 2015. While my main focus will be programming, I need my computer to be able to handle other tasks. My complaint with the laptops has always been the General slowness are associated, when they become easily outdated. In the MacBook Air, much higher transfer speeds of flash memory should help, but the big difference of GHz between the two processors will be a problem?

In the 2012 MacBook Pro, it runs at 2.5 GHz with a Turbo Boost to 3.1 GHz.

In 2015 MacBook Air, it runs at a meager 1 .6GHz, but the Turbo Boost can reach up to 2.7 GHz.

Big Turbo Boost of the MacBook Air, it seems competitive, but it will never really reach this clock speed? I've never owned a Mac for myself, and while the Turbo Boost looks impressive on paper, I do not understand if Turbo Boost is effective when it is actually implemented or not.

Unfortunately, I'm used to my 4.0 GHz custom PC, so it is difficult for me to understand the magnitude of these small clock speeds and Turbo Boost.

All opinions welcome, thank you for your thoughts!

    Hi milehigh3r

In this article MBP = MacBook Pro and MBA = MacBook Air the MBP specific I compare the MBA with is Late 2012 15"

Two of these laptops have there for and against.  I'm assuming that you look the MBP 15 "and 13" MBA

In the MBP i7 would also go more high as you say that its Turbo clock is 3.1 GHz which means that it is the fastest frequency, he's going to go.

Pros of the MBP (MacBook Pro)

Retina display (Macbook air is not equipped with a Retina display)

Can use up to 16 GB of Ram

There are also more ports on the MBP

All CPUS MBP is i7 which means you would get the benefit of technology hyper threading which creates a 4 additional virtual cores.  What will make it a 8 Core CPU.

the MBA would not have this functionality if you upgrade the $130 extra for the i7 (Note: this i7 in the MBA is only a Dual Core)

    The MBA Pros / Cons

Latest generation ports (Thunderbolt 2 (Thunderbolt 1 is on the MBP))

You cannot install any OS prior to OS X 10.11 El Capitan

To conclude I totally recommend that you go for the MBP because you have found the two nuclei and i7 in standard, you can also get much better display.  Also all Apple products Refurbished come with new batteries (I would say that you go to a class A which means better conditions).  Try to get a SSD if possible as they will make it lot faster on the start menu to the top of the OS and applications.

Need anything better explaining it, or have any questions feel free to answer me.

  • Need of response codes for Tecra S3

    Hi all!

I work for a company that sells refurbished PCs and State computers
We recently bought the Germany some laptops refurbished, among them 4 Tecra S3
Unfortunately, all of them are locked.

My question is: can support Toshiba have a session of live chat with me and provide response codes?
As you know, every time that you start the laptop the challenge code changes...

I have already made contact with the only service of Toshiba in Romania and they told me that do not have the technology to help me?

    Thanks to you all!

These information are not available on the Web from Toshiba websites for public use.

I guess that these internal information are mentioned in laptop maintenance manuals, but to my knowledge, these manuals are released only to authorized Toshiba service providers.
