• Could not find 'MAF Business objects of REST Web Service' in the Gallery

  I installed Jdev studio 12.1.3.0.0 and installed updates for the extension of the MAF. It shows screen-Extensions on Jdev Mobile Application Framework.

  I have windows 32-bit and using the version compatible jdev.

  But there is no option for the creation of 'MAF Business objects of REST Web Service' in the gallery.

  Can someone please help.

  This wizard is part of the A-team Mobile Accelerator persistence (AMPA), which is a separate JDeveloper extension that works on top of the MAF.

• ZBook 15 Gen 1: lost the original for Zbook 15 disks

  How can I get the origin comes with the zbook diskettes? I mean by records of the operating system, the relevant software in the installed hardware, etc...  I bought an opportunity (3 months) zbook 15 G1 of a disheveled college professor. He has no idea what he was doing with the disks. I'm going to install a new SSD, so I need the OS. I also need the software of HP security for the fingerprint reader. I could really use these drives. People don't realize how important those drives really are.

  Can I get them at HP?

  Also, I have a 2.5 year warranty... They have a phone number? I know that this is not a warranty issue, but maybe that theyd sell me records.

  If I can't bring it at HP, I would be happy to pay someone to make copies for me and send them my way.

  If the OS is Windows 8... Invoke the charm of the search, and then type in HP recovery media creator. Click the HP recovery media creator. You will need a usb flash drive to create the media. If the one you have is not sufficient capacity to make the media recovery media creator said you need you can cancel the process and go out to buy one that has the ability. Usually, this will be a 16 or 32 GB flash drive.  Don't buy Sandisk flashdrives, because they know not to work with recovery media creator.

  Yes you are right: you have to change to Council for the Quad core processor upgrade. It will cost you a lot compared to the price of the laptop.

• Retrieve data from normal java classes business components

  I created a utility project that uses BC ADF for my model. One of the things I have to do is to create a function that queries the database.
  
  For example, I want to get the translation of a legend based on certain parameters. So I continued to function:
  translate (form of a string, string lang, String caption)
  
  I created a VO that contains all links and tables necessary for this. There are also 3 bind variables for the shape, lang and legend.
  When I test this in my appModule and enter the bindvariable in the pop-up window, I get the data requested for the VO works very well.
  
  The only thing I do now is to create the code for my job to translate. What I do is run the VO and return the value of a specific column of the VO.
  Does anyone has code examples to achieve this?

• Satellite A30: System busy after returning from standby

  My abrupt A30 Satellite developed a problem when returning from standby mode. The system busy "Hourglass" is constantly and will not die. I have reploaded the power management utility since all options in 'Properties of power Option' are grayed out except for the "Power Meter" tab. It did make a difference.

  This problem appears at the beginning?
  Maybe the operating system has been installed there several times and now the registry entries are corrupted.
  This is why the system busy hourglass may appear.

  I m not 100% sure that this will help, but maybe you need to reinstall the whole OS

• New W700 with dirt behind the glass of the screen - terrible support from Lenovo

  I just got my new Thinkpad W700 two days ago, but it came with two dirt stains located behind the glass of the screen. They cover about 20 pixels down on the left:

  First of all, I contacted Lenovo technical support. They have opened a case but then gave me Lenovo sales because the defect already existed at the arrival and I could be eligible to get an Exchange unit.

  Unfortunately the sales of Lenovo really sucks. I spoke the first day by the representative asked me to send him an email with a picture of the screen, which I did. He promised to call what has never happened. I called again the next day and talked to another representative. He apologized for his colleague and promised to remind him to remember the same day. Once more it never happened. So I called for the third time another day later. The seller apologized once more and asked me to send the photo by email - once more. He then told me that I will not get an Exchange unit but have to call Lenovo support first, before any return policy may apply. Thus the circle closed after only three days

  Back to Lenovo support, they opened a new case and will now send me a shipping box in my notebook. So I'll be at least 15 working days without my new laptop and if they cannot clear the screen, I have to place a new order of complete replacement to Lenovo sales and wait another 10-15 days before I finally got my notebook back.

  This is completely unacceptable to me because I need the laptop for work. My plan of servo is now upgrade guarantee ' on site 9 x 5 next business day ', wait 2-3 weeks that it take until the upgrade is activated and then will make account again the fault to technical support. Can someone tell me if this would work or Lenovo will persist on me sending the DVICE back because I opened a folder already?

  The problem has been resolved. Unlike the unpleasant experience that I realized on sales of Lenovo doing the tech IBM/Lenovo service has been superb all the way. They have exchanged or repaired my screen and for some reason any addition to the system board. Now, I have a flawless screen and can start enjoying the machine. My laptop was gone for 5 days only, including a weekend and a delay of stock for parts.

  I have a Service Proxy <>- Business Service configured as a degree of transmission only. (including the http headers)
  
  The situation is: sometimes service which my access BS send an error response as a HTML instead of a SOAP fault wrap or something to do with the xsd provided.
  
  My PS receives it and send it back to the caller, but my client needs an error message. The service provider changes this behavior, so I need a way to verify the content of the response to see if there is an html element and throw an exception.
  
  It is possible to do?

  One option: validate the answer against the provided schema. If the validation fails will raise an error and fault Manager error turn the answer to the format expected by the service consumer.

• Typedef reference FPGA not updated in the private class data

  I have a FPGA reference related to a typedef that is passed in a LVOOP object. If I change the FPGA of computer simulation of dev to the use of the actual hardware, all references to the typedef are updated which are controls on a diagram. But the typedef in my private class data seems not not to date, so I'm broken son until I replace the control to private data of my class with a copied from my block diagram. Has anyone seen this? Is there a CAR already? I can create a small project to reproduce if necessary.

  Edit: this also seems to happen when I change bitfiles or change to open a VI a bitfile opening in the Configure dialog box open FPGA VI.

  I was able to reproduce your problem thanks to your easy to follow instructions.

  I noticed that type def successfully by checking "Bind FPGA host of reference to the type definition" in the open FPGA VI reference configuration. What does not automatically update is the Issue.ctl of OBJECT-oriented programming, which has a nested type definition in the private data reference.

  The fastest solution, that I could find was to right click on "Issue.ctl" in the project, and then click Save. This problem immediately solved the broken wire error.

  While configuring open FPGA VI reference has the practical ability to bind to the def of type, it does not broadcast this change to data private to the class. I call not this bug, but I can see how you want it works this way.

  I would recommend you post that on theExchange of ideas (I see you're already regularly here).

  I try to add a java class in the computer example folder and call the method.

  To load a class which is within a package, you can use the package rating (or change the example in order to to use). The path to the class is passed directly to the JAVA virtual machine to load the class, but really what is necessary is the package from the class path, including the full path to the class.

  This means you need to do the following:

  1 set the class path in the base directory where you created all your classes, if you have the following structure:

  • MyFile.java
  • builds
  • • MyPackage
    • • MyFile.class

  You must set the classpath in the builds directory

  2 when you set up your steps, you must set the path to the class in your steps from Java to MyPackage/MyFile.class (note the separator is a forward slash, not used Windows backslash, then the Browse button is not quite help with that).

  Another important thing is that when you set the classpath variable you remove the normal Java class path, if you are using Java classes from the library by default, you may have to add \lib\rt.jar
