zip files will not open

When I try to open a zip file in Windows Explorer (Vista) the screen begins to blink several times per second and never opens the file.  The system requires logoff or restart to break out of this loop.

To better help, this problem occurs when you try to open a file or all files Zip? To check, you access through Windows Vista Zip file or another program?

You try to perform a clean boot to verify the question to exclude factors of other services and applications
