ZoomBrowser tags - export to Imagebrowser

I used Zoombrowser years to mark my photos on asn XP box.  Windows no longer supports XP, so I now have a Windows 8.1 box and will probably upgrade to Windows 10 in the near future...  Is there a way I can keep the tags I put on my photos, so I can search for specific topics, keywords, etc..  If someone else has had this problem and how they did solve it?

Hi lchampeon,

Thank you for posting.

Key words used in ZoomBrowser EX and the sides don't yield to the EX. ImageBrowser I regret the difficulty that this causes.

  • Export of VM Tags in readable format

    So I worked on a script to import tags from a CSV file in vCenter so we can make batch imports of our vCenter labels (its a lot easier to edit the 1000 lines of a spreadsheet to do it directly in vCenter.)

    See: Re: work with tags Batch PowerCLI to the script itself.

    The problem I've encountered is I now the import script works correctly, but now I need a way to export the data updated to a readable CSV file, so I can make sure the input data are up to date. The problem with the export of powerCLI is how vCenter stores tags. in vCenter, the tags are stored in the form of TagCategory/TagName together as an object called $Tag and each $Tag is stored in a different part of the Get-tagassignment table. The problem is the entry CSV is separated with each line including the VMName and which Tags it contains under each category, each category being a column.

    The CSV is as follows:

    VMName |     Category 1 |     Category 2 |      Category 3 |      Category 4 |

    VM1            |                         |       Tag value.                           |     Tag value.

    VM2            |     Tag value.      Tag value.     Tag value.                            |

    Where the tags in VMWare is stored as follows:

    VMName |     Category/Tag |

    VM1            |     Category 2/Tag |

    VM1            |     Category 4/Tag |

    VM2           |     Category 1/Tag |

    VM2           |     Category 2/Tag |

    VM2           |     Category 3/Tag |

    So I'm looking for a way to get the current output in the format I need, so I can essentially creates a cyclic loop thus update tags can be exported to the CSV file when the CSV file is updated it already reflects any changes (e.g. additional virtual machines or VMs removed)

    Try like this

    $tagCat = @)

    $tagTab = @ {}

    foreach ($tag in (Get - VM |)) (Get - TagAssignment)) {}

    $tagCat += $tag. Tag.Category.Name

    $key = $tag. @entity.name

    {if ($tagTab.ContainsKey ($Key))}

    "$val = $tagTab.Item ($key)"

    }

    else {}

    $val = @ {}

    }

    $val. Add ($tag. Tag.Category.Name, $tag. Tag.Name)

    $tagTab [$key] = $val

    }

    $tagCat = $tagCat | Sort-Object-Unique

    $tags = foreach ($row in ($tagTab.GetEnumerator () |)) Sort - Object - property key)) {}

    $obj = new-Object-property PSObject @ {}

    VM = $row. Key

    }

    $tagCat | %{

  • When you export to epub, only about 1/3 of my chapters receive page breaks. Each chapter is in its own doc, and I tried to split apart by doc. and H1, without success. Help

    All my styles to paragraphs seem to jive, and no matter what I do, most of my chapters seem to miss their page breaks. I've heard of others having this issue with earlier versions of Indesign, but I'm on CC2014, and I thought that should be fixed now. I really won't need to learn HTML code and go break the doc epub to fix it manually, because it still doesn't work across all devices either.  I know others have this problem before racing. What I am doing wrong?

    Make sure that the paragraph style applied to the chapter title (if it is the first line of each chapter) is the tag. Open the paragraph style and go to the export of marking and Split Document (epub only). Then, when you export (assuming you are using recomposable) under general > check Split Document based on paragraph Style tags export. Try it and tell us if it helps.

  • Index of names of people massively in InDesign

    Hello everyone.

    I have a book of family history that must be indexed soon. While I am not new to indexing, I don't do it very often, so don't know if what I need is possible.

    In short, I need to index the names of quite a large number of people in a family history book that has all the text in the text frame. The good news is that a character style has been applied to names that need to be indexed, and there a plethora of similar scripts that allow the index to create character styles. Unfortunately, how the index should be constructed means that these scripts cannot be used. The index must have the last name of the individual in the level 1 heading, then given the level 2 heading names.

    For example, Christopher Cross Griffin, Lois Griffin, Meg Griffin, and Peter Griffin names appear in the index form:

    Griffin,

    Christopher Cross...

    Laws...

    Meg...

    Peter...

    The scripts above Martin Fischer, Peter Kahrel and Josha Hubbers will certainly add names like entries index, but only at level 1 of the topic. This means that when the index is created, the names would appear as follows:

    Christopher Cross Griffin

    ... < additional entries >

    Laws Griffin

    ... < additional entries >

    Meg Griffin

    ... < additional entries >

    Peter Griffin

    [Without the help of a script, adding a name to an index as the name of a person entry is normally done by putting in evidence the entry and then using the shortcut Shift + option + command +] (on a mac). This success puts first the family name, adds a comma and then between first names... but it has entered a name as level 1 of the topic. It does not last as level 1 of the section name and first names as level 2 of the section. It would create an index that looks like this:

    Griffin, Christopher Cross...

    Griffin, laws...

    Griffin, Meg...

    Griffin, Peter...

    There are two other scripts that create index based on list entries, but don't know if they use index markers or would do specifically what I'm after.

    I can see it, I have three options:

    (1) do it all manually;

    (2) use a software Kerntiff script called Quickindex - this will allow the level of heading 1 and 2, but only via a manual intervention... so manual still work, but nowhere near as much that it would be without this script; or

    (3) text file containing the tag export the text to an indesign, use a GREP appropriate for finding the character style and add index markers... sounds complicated but I've written about this elsewhere, would just need to modify my GREP to have two levels of topic: high Wrangle index entries... without InDesign InDesign. | Colecandoo!

    This memory requires that pages may change, so the index can change at any time, using a change/find/GREP on the index at the end is not a preferred option.

    However, all have other ways to do it, can see something I missed or point me in the direction of a utility that could help?

    Thank you very much

    Colin

    It seems that the answer lies in one of the scripts from Peter Kahrel Obi - Wan Kenobi was referring to: http://www.kahrel.plus.com/indesign/index_edit_topics.html

    It also answers my question a little better than my third suggestion to save on an indesign tagged text format, because my memory has changed – instead of an image with index entries highlighted in a character style, it's actually hundreds of blocks of text with TEN different styles of PARAGRAPH assigned... so my workload just went upward with or without a script!

    I have made a way to do this but it is a goal of single serving and will just bore the readers to tears, so don't bother to post here.

  • Import text from a pdf file and edit it

    I need to go "back" in the way that the normal process would be. I have a PDF (a book) and I need to recreate it in InDesign CS5 (7.0.4) so that I can edit the text. It is no longer available to left the document that produced the pdf document as a first step. I must tell you that I'm working with Acrobat 8.1.5 in Win 7 machine.  That's what I thought would be the answer for me: first, I exported the PDF in Acrobat 8 as an html tag (export-> HTML-> HTML 4.01, CSS 1.0) file. The html file seemed to have all the formatting in it. Then, I opened the html doc in MS Word and saved as a file of rtl. Then I could put the text of the rtl file in my new InDesign document. The bad news is that, in all the many notes, italicized text are lost. Of course notes are not linked (with the actual note reference numbers), but I did not do. Does anyone have another technique, version, software or script to try? It is important to get the italics to convert the exported file and I can make corrections on the text in InDesign.

  • How save/export library tags for external HD/motor PC? Mac?

    I scored thousands of photos (jpg) in the Gallery of photos (the feature of love).  But when I moved a file on an external hard drive (for free mobile space) all tags have been lost when the file was accesed external HD or when brought him back to the laptop.  Is it possible to save or export tags on a different hard drive, computer or external?  If this is not the case, this makes labeled a waste of time if you lose all the data every time that you move your files to a different storage devide or you upgraded computer.  The tags are readable by a Mac?  Equipped with Windows Vista. No Windows Live.

    Can you specify what kind of tags your pointing to who have not transferred in the properties pictures,

    Captions and descriptive labels should go with the pictures, if they appear in windows Explorer.

    The exceptions could be people and geo tags and face recognition.

    I'll add you should check your settings, click on the blue button and then click options, there is a setting to remove information of importing photos, and if you check the Panel tags, it also has options for the information that you publish your photos, if all the parameters are checked if not to transfer the information ,

    These two areas should have no control over them.

  • Add the attribute to the HTML Export tag?

    The paragraph, character, and object Styles feature of submenus 'export marking' where styles can be mapped to HTML tags and classes CSS.

    Is it possible to include HTML attributes in this mapping?

    Example: < span lang = "fr" > content here. </span >

    If this is not possible out of the box with InDesign, there's effective workaround for this?

    Thank you.

    You cannot add HTML attributes in InDesign. I do not know to bypass the problem except the cracking of the open epub and inserting them manually or with RegEx.

  • My alt text applied by object Export Options in InDesign CC tags are not displayed in PDF format

    I am marking my images and adding tags to text in InDesign CC by object Export Options and even add Alt in the structure for my images, but when I bring it in PDF, the image is not labeled in the order of reading and text tags are not displayed. How can I fix that, apart from making the work directly to PDF?

  • How to mark an inDesign document so that some items marked are exported include tags?

    It is easy to mark a single piece of content and then export as xml in inDesign. If I add a block of text, and export I get the following:

    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="yes"?>

    <Root>

    <content>Simple text block</content>

    </Root>

    What I strive to do is to export tags / content in another set of tags. Example: I want to mark my document so that it exports as so:

    <?xml version='1.0' encoding='UTF-8'?>

    <article>

    <id>123</id>

    <content>

    <body>Some text</body>

    <headline>Some other text</headline>

    </content>

    </article>

    Here is what I tried:

    Screen Shot 2015-11-04 at 10.16.58 AM.png

    When I exported the xml file I received the following:

    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="yes"?>

    <article>

    <content>Simple text block</content>

    <id>123</id>

    <content></content>

    <body>Some text</body>

    <headline>Some other text</headline>

    </article>

    The title and body tags are not in the content tags.

    How do I tag items so that it export tags / content in another set of tags?

    Could not access the Forum before.

    What I see, it's just a block of text use for both blocks of text.

    It's a text frame where the first paragraph uses a heading tag

    and all the text is marked as body.

    Then the block of text as the content of the tag.

    See tree structure (Ctrl + Alt + 1) where one shows root > Content > Headline, body.

    When exporting to XML, you will get tags around two pairs of tags for the title and the body that you need.

    If you want to apply text styles to tagged text, it is convenient to create a relationship, mapping, assign these styles to tags.

    Also if you want to apply tags to text based on the applied styles (title, body,...) just assign tags to styles.

    It is convenient to use the same wording for the two (attention to use capitals)

    How to apply and create the map? :

    In the side panel menu tags, you have commands to access the panels for these tasks:

  • Export to EPUB: multiple HTML tags?

    How to map styles InDesign for export to EPUB/HTML as the content can be rolled up inside two tags, as follows:

    < span class = "font2" > < quote class = "font2" > font selector! < / name > < / span >

    or

    < class p = "Center" > < span class = "Center" > * < / span > < / p >

    If InDesign doesn't have this feature, which is the more programmatic, automated way to go to achieve this result?

    Thank you.

    In my opinion, this isn't the way it is intended to be used by Adobe, but GREP-style in the paragraph styles allow you to play on a certain level with your request. According to your criteria of GREP, you can select the entire paragraph or selective words or phrases. Here is an example of wrapping the two styles of child with the paragraph style:

  • The export of paragraph attribute format tag

    Hi all

    Using structured FM 11 on Windows 7.

    I need a way to return paragraph format tags. I know it's easy to assign them to import with ESD, but I don't know how to save the export.

    I was hoping that read/write rules can contain something in the sense of:

    attribute "paraFormat" is fm property paragraph format tag;

    I think it's probably possible with ExtendScript or a custom API, but I would rather these if possible.

    Thank you!
    Trevor

    Trevor,

    I think you're out of luck with read/write rules. The hypothesis is that logical formatting is the property of ESD and would therefore have no relevance in the XML file. As you claimed it, a client of import/export API could do. An ExtendScript could also do prior to importation, by filling the advance attributes. It's a very simple script, perhaps 20 lines or more.

    My FrameSLT plugin could also fill the attributes advance with a Script Assistant node, but is not free as YOU. www.weststreetconsulting.com.

  • Export WAV in several ID3 tag MP3s

    Did a search in the forums here and elsewhere online, doesn't seem to find the answer... Although very few people asking. I have a single WAV file recording that I divided in person named tracks using markers to cue. Each marker was appointed to the title of the track, as shown in how to videos from Adobe. In the metadata Panel (Ctrl/Cmd + p) global ID3 tags include artist, Album, Date and Genre. If I added a title or track number, it gives me the same number title or track for everything during export.

    When I export "Audio within the range markers", with "Include markers and other metadata" checked, I almost what I am looking for but not quite. It exports files individual mp3 appointed by marker (according to my settings). The title ID3 tag, however, is not populated with the marker title and track number is always empty.

    No there is no way to export from a WAV in several MP3 with ID3 full? If the number of title and the track is not met by automatically, which I suppose would be the title of marker, is there a way to define data tag ID3 individual track in the master WAV file that would make when exporting?

    I use CC hearing on Mac OS X 10.8. I do not see the ID3 tag data complete in VLC, iTunes or in the properties of the file.

    Thanks for any help, or if someone can point me in the right direction.

    Here's a Visual of what I've put up:

    https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/1175736/tmp/aa_wav_mp3_screenshot.png

    Update:

    Unable to find a viable solution within the hearing itself, I use the free MusicBrainz Picard app that seems to make the job a bit quicker that VLC does. It is regrettable to have to rely on a third party for something like this application as much as there are already some possibilities of ID3 tagging in hearing. I hope I'm just something missing, would like to have these files"" WAV Master "with all these data already there on a case where I have to re-export in the future..." "

    Unfortunately, I can only in coherence with a resounding "me too!"   Very frustrating to have to use an application of part 3 (that I use Tagr) and then, if I find myself re-export a track (or all) again for mounting, I re - tag all the files using Tagr.

    Also, I must say that reach the beach of numbers ONLY for names output end marker is lame. Put the 01, 02, etc in front of tracks would be useful since the track number field does not work either!
