  I have the same problem.  My touchscreen responds but my touchpad and mouse are unable to save a click in IE.  I need to reboot to rectify.  It seems to be more common when the laptop comes out of fashion 'sleep'.   I tried all the steps above, everything is up-to-date.

  Method 1:
  Run the hardware and devices Troubleshooter and check. Please follow these steps:

  a. press Windows + W keys, type Troubleshooting in the search box and press on Enter.
  b. click on 'show all' and then click 'hardware and devices'.
  c. click 'Next' and then follow the on-screen instructions.

  If this does not help, then use method 2.

  Method 2:
  Start your computer in safe mode and check the number.

  Why must you SATA XP drivers? You are not able to install XP because the HARD drive is not visible?

  With regard to the nVidia drivers:
  It seems that the A200 notebooks were shipped with a different hardware configuration.
  Some laptops come with the Intel GPU and some with nVidia graphics card.
  The Intel GPU driver is available on the Toshiba page.

  I recently had to install my OS XP on my Acer Aspire 5745PG, so I can use some of my old software for PLC control without having to pay mega bucks a newer version of the software.

  Now, my problem is that I can't find the drivers of Windows XP.

  and enter in the model are all I can download x 64-bit of Windows 7 drivers.

  There is nothing much in the way of specifics as to what are the models of camera to the laptop so I can not find drivers for what I don't know.  For example: for the LAN driver, everything he says is Atheros LAN but no model specific and for Wireless LAN its either Atheros or Broadcom and VGA 3 registered there but for Win7x64 my laptop has Nvidia 330 M graphics card and the sound card is listed as a Realtek but which models are all these?

  I did a bit of looking around after having tried the drivers that came with the pack of drivers and finding that they did not.  Apparently, the new versions of the drivers do not work for LAN and WLAN.  I got these 2 drivers finally work properly.

  The network driver I installed that seems to work well with XP is l1c51 v1.0.0.33 - whql.

  The best WLAN Driver that seems to work well with XP it's xp3264 v9.2.0.104 - whql v10 of these drivers do not work.

  I have a table built with a VerticalFieldManager and have implemented the standard shortcut scrolling. There was a problem where the onFocus event has not fired on my table cells when 'b', 't', 'space' shortcut keys have been used (though even the focus change). I had to add the fireFocusHack() to fix. I wonder if it isn't something I am doing wrong or is this a bug of BB OS? It works without the hack in the simulator of 8330 I use JDE 4.5. The notch is necessary on a Bold 9700 running 5.0 and a 4.6 running curve.

  I found this one. Table cells were VerticalFieldManagers which contained a focusable RichTextField. It was my onFocus() and onUnfocus() methods were on optimizing resources aren't the RichTextField. The funny thing is that it has worked well for manual/trackball scrolling.

  I have two cell phones L750d one of them works fine but the other is the touchpad with disable and enable himself every second or so, tried touchpad update drivers, tried to take out the battery and pressing the power on button for 30 seconds and a few other options that people talk in the forums. So far, nothing has worked and the touchpad can still turn itself on and off itself.

  Any help at all will be greatly appreciated as it is driving my crazy wife and she is constantly using my laptop which is driving me crazy.

  I have a Satellite S1000-Z2 (aka PS100E-001RE-EN) - number of complete product C1133/256/15/14XT/D/M

  I don't have the original CD that came with the laptop, and I had to replace the hard drive. I loaded a version OEM of Windows XP by using the key number on the bottom of the laptop, and which has been loaded OK.

  However, there are 3 devices I need drivers for the modem and 2 graphics drivers (Intel I think). I can't find THE drivers on the Toshiba site.

  In addition, there is a port of network at the rear of the machine. It does not show in the Device Manager to all, and I don't find it in BIOS to see if it is enabled or disabled.

  If anyone can offer any assistance, I would be very grateful.

  My M30 ran slow and boring and carrying a bunch of old garbage files so I decided to reinstall Windows XP Media Center and replace all previous data - not upgraded. Now, I'm trying to find the drivers for it.

  Got the screen those but the network controller seems to be hard to get and install the required software. There is also an unknown device in Device Manager that requires drivers apparently but I na? t know what it is. Got the controller network and Modem left - but never use the modem, so just looking for the network controller.

  Usually the Toshiba laptop came with a recovery Cd and a CD of drivers & tools.
  On this site you should find the drivers for Windows XP.
  The WinXP MCE should use the same drivers.

  Press "Ctrl + Alt + right arrow" to rotate the screen and touchpad 90 degrees.

  My other question, which seems to be linked to drivers, is that I can't turn off my touchpad or use it to its full extent. I want to do that while I use my usb mouse, because it makes typing messy when I accidentally touch the touchpad. Normally I would be able to double tap the top left of the touchpad where there is a dash, and it will close or turn on, but since the downgrade I have not been able to do.

  The only suggestion I can offer about the touchpad if you already tried the socket driver in charge of your laptop and driver page would be to try that one directly from Synaptics.

  The smbus controller, I can certainly help you with...

  Here's what I did... I have zipped and attached below in attachments, the raw smbus controller driver files to decompress and install manually.

  Download and unzip the file.

  Go to Device Manager and click the controller smbus needing drivers.  Click the driver tab.  Click on set to update driver.

  Select her browse my computer for driver software option and navigate to the driver folder that you unzipped.

  Make sure that the include subfolders is selected and the driver should install.  Then restart.
