  I am trying to find the drivers for SM Bus controller and USB controller for the Pavilion P6 - 2307. If I go to download drivers and download updates, it does not install it. I run Windows 7 64 bit and I made sure I downloaded the correct drivers.

  At their launch, Windows 7 comes in asking if the run installation program correctly which means that somehow it didn't. It then asks if you want to run it in compatibility mode and if I say yes, nothing happens.

  Can you get it someone please let me know where I can find the correct drivers to make it work on Windows 7 64 bit.

  I have a HP Pavilion dv6-6b26sa.

  I love the laptop.  I did a clean reinstall of Windows 7 64-bit.

  Everything installed perfectly, except the SM Bus controller - I have a yellow! next to him - no drivers...

  I've been without downgrading my friends computer to Windows 8 for Windows 7 and driver used links from here and everything worked very well so far!  There is only one question left.  I have no driver for SM Bus controller.

  I have a laptop, it was windows 8.0 and I upgraded to 8.1, I didn't like it at all so I lowered it to win7 because it was laggy and the displayed text was fuzzy. I knew that something was wrong with the installation of windows 8 and even after a clean full format, he would not return to normal. I also forgot to put my product key of my pc of win8 before I went down I had no knowledge of what happen and don't think it would be a problem...  Now I can't connect more than 1 thing at a time. I went on the microsoft forums and they fixed a problem (ethernet driver) and told me to come here and I hope you can fix the rest.

  1 SMBus: Downloand unzip and manually install the driver for smbus controller I have attached under attachments below.

  Go to Device Manager and click the controller smbus needing drivers.  Click the driver tab.  Click on set to update driver.
