0xC0000225

Greetings,

I'm building a custom Windows 7 image for deployment, using a Small Form Factor Elite 8200 and professional Windows 7 installation disc for my company.

During the installation I have delete all existing partitions (to remove the OEM of Windows 7 installation) and create a new primary partition. I allows Windows to create the System Partition and the recovery Partition and proceed with the installation to the primary partition.

After installation of operating systems and to update (HP) for the NETWORK card drivers and a couple of controllers, I began patching the o/s. At this time, the computer has restarted several times for the driver will install and I had no problem. On the first series of patches (about 136 - I am disable and hide IE 9 because we have some legacy applications IE) I get the following error during the initial reboot imposed by the patches:

Situation: 0xc0000225

Info: The boot selection failed because a required device is unreachable.

The repair option is successful after that several attempts, but can see a successful start-up of Windows I would receive the following message is displayed:

Failure to configure the Windows hotfixes...

Windows would roll back the patches and I'm back to square one.

However, subsequent reboots would result in a quick blue screen. It are the details of the error message I get when I start mode without failure:

Signature of the problem:

I saved the dump file, and thus sysdata.xml file.

Technical information:

STOP: 0x0000000A (0xFFFFFA7FFFFFFFE0 etc) and a crash dump is created.

I would appreciate any help on this matter. I can't help thinking there's a patch and hoped he would be called for you in order to disable and hide that to proceed with the installation.

Thank you much in advance.

I found the patch that caused the problem.

Intel WDDM1.2 graphics card.

In appwiz he will appear as the Intel HD Graphics version 9.17.10.3347

  • HP pavilion 2777TU g6: downgrading Windows 10 to 8.1 showed a 0xc0000225 error. How to recover without data loss?

    I had upgraded to windows 10 8.1 about 20 days back, but now I don't like the outlook and my system also became slow so I thought to go back to windows 8.1. My laptop gives error 0xc0000225. Please help urgently.

    Kkss

    While Microsoft says there is no risk in the upgrade of Win10, because they allow you to believe that you can always return to your BONES and the original installation program within 30 days, the ugly fact of the matter is that the Win10 GoBack feature turned out to be unreliable - and when she fails, she can let machines in a State corrupted - that does not always happen , but it happens often enough to be a problem and you will get no warning beforehand that he goes to the trash your PC!

    If this is not enough, the Win10 upgrade is known, in some cases, corrupt partition recovery stored by the OEM that built the original machine. It's pretty much guarantee that no HP recovery will work.

    You should probably use HP recovery media to restore your PC to its original state, and you will have to order from HP.

    I have created a disk of my office repair, inserted into the laptop, and now he can't seem to recognize the repair disk, always encouraging me to insert it.

    I saw your message with the error on booting. From my research, it seems that need you an installation disc if the repair disk does not work. I found only a few detailed steps on this problem of fixing on this third-party site. They double boots of origin displays with Linux, but you can just skip this part. The repair disc, you have created the exact same operating system of Windows 7? For example, you do not need to use a Windows 7 Basic to repair a Windows 7 Home Premium.

    Hello

    I've never tried the recovery from a USB key, but you can try another? Maybe the stick isn't compatible

    By the way: you can try the recovery of the DVD?

  • error 0xC0000225, recovery partition does not start

    Hello

    I have a HP dv7 with Windows 7 Home premium 64-bit.

    A few months ago, I did a factory restore, the recovery partition start (I have no recovery disks). After that, I thought to divide my C: partition where Windows is installed, and I did it with Windows disk management.

    So my new scores were: C: D: with recovery, OS, E: HP_Tools and g.: the new partition.

    A few days ago the sistem ran very hard, so I thought I do another factory restore from the recovery partition. When I rebooted and you press F11, I got the "0xc0000225 error".

    I have a Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit bootable drive and I tried Startup Repair tool and other repairs of sistem, checks HDD, but everything seems to be ok.

    I reinstalled the operating system, from the disk bootable on C: (OS starts and works well) and let the other partitions as they were... but it seems that the recovery partition still does not start if I can do a restore from the factory with all the drivers and utilities, as they were at the beginning.

    Any ideas on how I can do?

    Thank you!

    It seemed that it there was not much I could do about this problem. My disk is dynamic, there is no Recovery Manager from the Start Menu, there has not been any creation of HP with HP folder recovery support. I managed somehow to make a repair disk, I tried it but no results, the error kept popping out every time.

    I inserted the Windows 7 disc to try to delete all partitions, including the recovery and HP-tools and do a Windows Installer Cleanup, but the Format, New and Delete buttons are inactive.

    I did some scans disk and memory tests, everything was ok... I started with a disc of Hiren and accesed the HARD drive with a program based on linux and so I managed to delete the partitions.

    After I installed a new copy of Windows 7 to work with my SN and everything was ok. Unfortunately I lost partitions recovery and HP-tools, but at least it works well again.

    Thanks for your all your support.

  • HP 250 Portable G2: 0xc0000225 error code. Hard drive is not accessible, computer laptop HP 250 G2

    I'm doing a clean Windows 8.1 64-bit as a result of a fall, but I'm getting 0xc0000225 error code, using built-in HP recovery utility. Installing Windows also says: Windows could not retrieve information about the disks on this computer. Kindly help. Thank you

    If your computer is originally shipped with Windows preinstalled by HP (as it should) - it would be better to use the HP recovery media that will repair Windows, applications, and all the default partition to factory. It will use the license of your machine for Windows and should automatically active Windows after installation.

    If you are using the 8.1 Windows installation media, you may need a facility to post license Win (depending on the type of used windows).

    -If you want to use the original that are preinstalled windows, you can get a HP recovery media as described above

    -If you are using the 8.1 Windows installation disc and install Windows from using your driver's license, follow these steps:

    1 boot from the Windows DVD
    2. click on install now
    3. in the configuration screen, click Custom (Advanced)
    4. click on Drive Options
    5. Select the partitions to format
    6. click on Format - this will delete EVERYTHING on this partition - format and delete all partitions
    7. create a new partition, and then select a partition to install Windows on.
    8. continue the installation.

    If the Windows installation disc does not work for the above you can do the following to reformat your hard drive:
    1. download a Gparted ISO from here:
    http://gparted.org/LiveCD.php

    2 burn the ISO to a CD or DVD
    2. start from the CD/DVD of Gparted disk.
    3. use Gparted to delete all partitions on the hard disk.
    4. under 'Device' choose Create Partition Table to a new table partition.
    5. create a NTFS partition (or you can wait and create a partition during the installation of Windows).

    Finally, boot from the Windows installation disc and install Windows.

    Let me know if it works for you

  • Where is the serial number 6-1091TX? + 0xc0000225 error

    OK, I've encountered a problem and girlfriends laptop won't start.

    It happens with 0xc0000225 error in Windows Boot Manager, I have as he asked and placed a USB bootable with Windows 8.1 in the port and pushed enter to continue. Loop it back to this page.

    1. I can't select boot device options. No option to boot from USB because it just doesn't go to this screen of BBE.

    2. product diagnosis system * removed *.

    3. I do not have access to a HP USB recovery or something else. I also can't create one as there isn't one on the 6-1091TX page.

    4. I formatted from the 500 GB drive and the disk chkdsk and it works fine

    5. I used the partition of 32 GB of SSD mSATA and it was in the GPT format with 8.1 64bits

    6. I've searched all over the web and have not found a solution

    Also how can I do to find the serial number. I walked about all combinations, read every guide, but the numbers and formats are different and it's getting frustrating, using both the * removed * and looking at the * removed * I cant get support until I get the serial number, and then he told me to contact HP with no contact information.

    Any help would be much appreciated

    Fixed it myself. Took out the HARD drive and it starts in mSATA SSD with Win 8.1 with none of the drama. Reconnected it hotswapping, formatted as a primary partition, the installer on the disk HARD not restarted and now it works.

    We both learned something new today.

    Hello

    Unfortunately it would look as the volume is indeed corrupt, which coupled with the error of the DST, would tend to confirm that the drive has indeed failed.

    Now my best suggestion would be to contact HP immediately and get the HARD drive replaced under warranty - make sure you always have a set of recovery discs/media to reinstall the operating system on the new drive, if you have not, you should be able to order it at the same time.

    Kind regards

  • error 0xc0000225 windows does not start

    Hello everyone
    I have a sony vaio, vista edition windows Home premium and basically my computer was working fine and all of a sudden it went away, and when I restarted it, directly, he went in the windows startup repair options and not fix the problem in the automatic startup repair, I tried several times but every time that I restarted , it would show windows loading files and go directly into the startup repair options.
    After that I followed instructions online via the command prompt and type bootrec.exe, and rebuild the boot or something (sorry iam seriously technically incompetent) and now all the that I get whenever I start my compputer is a black screen saying
    "Could not start windows, a recent hardware or software change might be the cause. to solve the problem
    1. Insert your windows installation cd, and then restart your computer
    2. choose your language settings, and then click Next
    3. click on repair your computer

    except that I don't have my cd of vista so iam basically screwed, the page reads as
    file: \windows\system32\drivers\qzgvarw.sys
    situation: 0xc0000225
    Info: Failed to load because a critical windows system driver is missing or corrupt

    so I really need someone's help because I have so much my proffesional work on my hard drive and I can't reformat everything because I do not have a backup, I also have a partition on my hard drive is in any way I can transfer important files from my hardrive to my other OS?
    Please help, panic here!

    Data recovery:

    1. slave of your hard drive in another computer and read/save your data out there.

    2. put your Hard drive in a USB hard drive case, plug it into another computer and read/save from there.

    3 Alternatively, use Knoppix Live CD to recover data:

    http://www.Knopper.NET/Knoppix/index-en.html

    Download/save the file Knoppix Live CD ISO above.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    http://isorecorder.alexfeinman.com/isorecorder.htm
    Download the Vista software from the link above.
    After installing above ISO burning software, right click on the Knoppix ISO file > copy the Image to a CD.
    Knoppix is not installed on your PC; use only the resources of your PC, RAM, graphics etc.
    Change the boot order in YOUR computer/laptop to the CD/DVD Drive 1st in the boot order.
    Plug a Flash Drive/Memory Stick, BOOT with the Live CD, and you should be able to read the hard drive.
    When the desktop loads, you will see at least two drive hard icons on the desktop (one for your hard drive) and one for the USB key.
    Click on the icons of hard drive to open and to understand which drive is which.
    Click the icon for the USB drive and click on "Actions > Change the read/write mode" so you can write to disk (it is read-only by default for security reasons).
    Now to find the files you want to back up, just drag and drop them on the USB. When you're done, shut down the system and remove the USB key.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    Vista recovery media obtain and/or use the Partition Recovery Vista on your computer to the factory settings .

    There is no Vista free download legal available.

    Contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send a recovery disk/s Vista set.

    Normally, they do this for a cost of $ small.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    In addition, ask them if you have a recovery Partition on your computer/laptop to restore it to factory settings.
    See if a manual provided with the computer or go to the manufacturer's website, email or you can call for information on how to make a recovery.
    Normally, you have to press F10 or F11 at startup to start the recovery process...
    Another way I've seen on some models is press F8 and go to a list of startup options, and launch a recovery of standards of plant with it, by selecting the repair option.
    See you soon.
