Everyone knows about this problem with ESXi 4.1?

After installing ESXi 4.1 (new installation on host - not upgraded), at the opening of the VIC on a workstation and connect to the new host ESXi 4.1, it tries to upgrade the VIC as usual, but fails, retune the error: "customer support required files cannot be retrieved from the server.  The identification process will now stop.  Details: the request failed due to a failure of the connection. »

So I tried to install the VIC by accessing pages web host.  When you click on "Download vSphere Client", he tries to click on the following link (http://vsphereclient.vmware.com/vsphereclient/2/5/8/9/0/2/VMware-viclient-all-4.1.0-258902.exe), instead of download the VIC to the host.  When you try to download the VIC of the host, I tried the IP address and the DNS name, the two are unable to point to the correct location.

    Any thoughts?

I think I've read that with ESX 4.1 you can not download the VIC of the ESX host, more - you must download from the VMware site.

  • Store does not recognize my administrator user account when you try to upgrade Windows 8 to 8.1 Windows

I bought an Inspiron 17 7737 directly from dell.com on 05/12/2013.  It was delivered 12/182013.  The operating system was Windows 8.  I had assumed that he would have the last version of Windows when it has happened since 8.1 was released in October. I opened the app Store and the Windows 8.1 upgrade was not available for me.  I realized it was one problem for others and that he has not pursued further at that time.  I was out of town for 2 weeks in January and has not used the laptop during this 2 week period.  When I got home, I opened the store and found placed prominently on the invitation to the free update to 8.1. I signed up using the administrator account and when I hit the download button for 8.1. I received the message "You must use an account with administrator privileges to install Windows 8.1, try connecting with the user of an administrator on this PC account and try the update again".  I checked my account has administrator privileges and tried again and got the same message. I created another user account and gives privileges to administrator and try the download again signed on this account and received the same message.  I called technical support and for more than 5 hours on 2 different days, the technician tried to solve the problem by uninstalling and reinstalling the Windows updates. When that has not resolved the problem, it "refreshed" my PC which I understood to be given to the State at the time of delivery. He had to do all the Windows (about 65) updates and tried to re-download 8.1.  This does not change the error message when you try to download at 8.1.  At that time, I was told that they were raising a technical team that search every newspaper in my machine and find a solution.  They said they'd call me at the time where there is a solution. Although my administrator account has not been recognized during an attempt to make the download 8.1, it acknowledged the role of the administrator when the technician needed administrative approval to all uninstall and reinstall activities in trying to solve the problem.

Everyone knows about this problem?  It is resolved, and if so, how is it resolved?

You are not alone. Many have had the same problem with no resolution. I think there's something funny to do with user accounts. Making a second account with admin privleges does not work. I would try to reinstall the operating system of hidden image and try again. A refresh like tried Dell will not do because it retains much of the data before the update; you need a clean start. Do nothing witht the account Admin other than to let Windows put up and set your password. All updates must be installed before the upgrade is displayed in the store. I have improved five facilities to win 8 and have had zero problems.

  • Error when you try to upgrade the VCS to X7.2.1

I get notification on TMS that VCSC and VCSE both must move from X6.2 to X7.2.1.  I point to the software that has been downloaded automatically, enter the unlock key that was provided, and then the system stops to and returns with system error: Installation failed, corrupted uploaded image.

Then I try to download version directly on the Cisco site, start the update, enter the release key and then get error "invalid unlock key.  I want to turn in circles of im.  Please notify.

    Hi Brad,

I think you should re - download the software because it might contain a few CRC errors.

I also checked the key to release of X7.x for the AES (s42700x7_2_1.tar.gz) version, and it should start with 588 and end by 030 for your VCS. It is the key to unlocking with that you try? "588 * 030.

If you use the encrypted version by default the software, and you try to download with the key to unlocking above, so I think that you just download this file again. Please also note that the package (installation) if _not_ be extracted before uploaded to VCS (should end with.tar.gz).

If you have problems with the download of your browser, try downloading the file with a client FTP (ftp://ftp.tandberg.com/pub/software/vcs/x7/s42700x7_2_1.tar.gz).

    Hope this helps,

  • Error when you try to update Windows 7 64 bit - code error 0x8000FFFF

Been upgraded Windows 7 very well since the purchase, but in the last few days I've met the above error code. I ran through most of the potential solutions (check the registry keys, checking the services running, disable AV software, rename the folder to download etc.), but nothing seems to help. Currently, I'm stuck with Windows 7 could not update from this point.

    HI -.

Running "Run the Fix It" in aggressive mode seems to have done the trick. One thing to note - I also disabled Acronis True Image Backup Nonstop, who had run up to this point. If this makes a difference or not, I'm not sure. Whatever it is, the updates seem to work fine now.

    Thank you very much

It's very interesting as the How to reset the Windows Update components? page specifically mentions that it is not expected for Windows 7 when I visit with my Windows 7 system:

This article applies to a different version of Windows than the one you are using. Content of this article is not relevant to you. Visit the Windows 7 Solution Center

And, applies to , at the bottom of the page, do not include Windows 7.

I have the feeling that the information on this page is incorrect according to the directives of Windows 7, which is not surprising.
That said, it seems that Acronis was the culprit that caused the problem to update.

  • Error when you try to install Windows XP Service Pack 3: "We apologize for the inconvenience, but Windows did not start successfully. A recent hardware or software change might have caused this.

    Windows XP SP3 problem

Recently, I met a problem with my PC and was forced to use the system recovery. Now I'm back to factory settings and try to install Windows XP Service Pack 3 on my computer. Windows Update won't work for me, that whenever I try to update I get [error number: 0x8024400A]. I think it's because I use Service Pack 2, or that's what I concluded after researching the problem, anyway.

This is not my real concern, however. Because I could not get the update automatically, I tried to download and install the "Windows XP Service Pack 3 Network Installation Package for IT professionals and developers" myself. The first time I did it, I restarted the PC after the installation and was met with "We apologize for the inconvenience, but Windows did not start successfully. A recent hardware or software change might have caused this. "  I went into safe mode and went to a just system restore point before SP3 was installed, but now I don't know how to install it correctly without encountering this problem after reboot. I'm hardly the easy just stick with SP2 when there are potentially important available updates. How can I get Windows Service Pack 3 is installed on my PC?

    It's certainly interesting!

If the cause of your problem is to have a HP PC with an AMD processor and an original image on your hard drive (and of course it sounds like this is the case), the solution should be to rename the file intelppm.sys and launch the sp37394.exe patch. Once done, the SP3 file that you downloaded from here:
    SHOULD work!
I'm puzzled why there is no intelppm.sys file in your directory C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers.
Since you recently returned to square one with your PC ("return to factory settings"), then you may as well run the patch from this page:
and try the SP3 Setup file again.
But, first, let's be absolutely sure that we are both using the same terminology. Please answer the following questions:
    1. have you safely backed up ALL your data?
    2. what method did you use to ride "back to factory settings? I think that your choices have been a destructive restore (full) and a (partial) non-destructive recovery. The first erases the disk and leave you with a pristine image and NOTHING ELSE (which means that all of your programs and data get deleted). The other (which does not always correctly) is supposed to leave programs and data intact.

After looking on the suggestion of a forum has been a problem with the external hard drive, so I ran check disk but who gave the fire. At the same time, I tried to open a file on a separate external drive to get a similar error message - seems a little by chance...
