  Click Start, then options type power and press ENTER.  Let us make sure that the system is not configured to sleep.  Go ahead and put the power plan to High Performance, then click on change Plan settings below.  There will be a framework for "put the computer to sleep".  The value than ever.

  The change is made in OUTLOOK.

  (1) go to the account you are using, (TOOLS/CHOICE of ACCOUNT) and double-click the account in which you make the change.

  2) click on "ADDITIONAL SETTINGS".

  3) click on the "ADVANCED" tab

  (4) place a check in the box next to "Leave a copy of messages on the server."

  You can choose to delete (or not) of your Blackberry.

  I feel there is more at stake here than your synchronization... BIS does not synchronize or reconcile the messages and messages.

  In Outlook, verify your settings ask Outlook to leave your messages on the server. See below.

  You want to check the box to LEAVE messages on the server. I am betting that once you open Outlook and download your Gmail to Outlook, it is deleting your messages (OR marking as 'read') OFF the server and which is then reconciled with the device.

  If they get deleted you can simply replace it with the copy.

  On your BlackBerry, go to Options > device > Application Management and then highlight the app in question and press Menu > delete.

  Use your BlackBerry browser to go to http://blackberry.com/blackberrymessenger and download/install again the Messenger application.

  This should make the BBMessenger app an add-on application that can be removed.

  Then, go to Options > Applications > Add on and go to the mail app and click on it, just highlight it. Click Menu > delete and remove the application.

  After the removal, you may need to restart the device again.

  Even sitting on a countertop bath during a hot steamy shower or bath can cause the trackball and keyboard problems until this THAT well dry.

  With a strong carrier network (for example, not only WiFi), I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 should translate into a message to your BB to come... Please wait just before moving on to the next step):

  1) register HRT

  • Pre-BB10 ONLY devices. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes.

Hold the top button until the red light. Wait through the entire boot process.   • See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.
