White Q10 Q10 Blackberry ID blackBerry screen

I can't set up my Blackberry ID preferences because the Blackberry ID page on my device is completely empty... Just a white screen with BlackBerry ID in a blue box in the top of the page.  Help!  I need this page opens so that I can set the preferences and backup of my device.

Hello and welcome to the community!

With a strong carrier network (for example, not only WiFi), I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 should translate into a message to your BB to come... Please wait just before moving on to the next step):

1) register HRT

  • KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with wireless network
  • Please wait message "registration" happen

2) restart

  • Pre-BB10 ONLY devices. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes.
  • Peripheral BB10. Hold the top button until the counter reaches zero. Wait for the unit to be completely stopped (for example, nothing appears on the screen, no lights, etc.). Hold the top button until the red light. Wait through the entire boot process. IF this fails, you can try the method of battery-pull above, but it is normally NOT recommended unless nothing else works.
  • See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

I hope that will move things again for you! If not, then you should, via PC/browser, check (and, if necessary, confirm) your BBID account:

  • KB34137 How to confirm a BlackBerry ID account

If that is not move things, you need to contact your mobile provider for formal support.

Good luck!

  • Q10 blackBerry screen display

I was just wondering if it's just my q10 or it is the same for all the q10...

Basically, my screen is not very bright and does not show 'white' color as pure white. The entire screen is more than a grey tint to it. I took my screen stop snack protector that was the cause, however, no luck.

My friend has a q5 and when comparing the screen is a hell of a lot more clear/more bright.

I thought they had the same screens in them, so I think that maybe my monitor is sketchy?

All your comments/responses to this person?

This is because the Q5 and Q10 screens are not alike. The Q10 is AMOLED (Active Matrix Organic Light
Light-emitting diode), so that the Q5 is 4 LCD (liquid crystal display). AMOLEDs are very thin and no need for backlighting and can produce very deep and dark colors while they are considered to be energy-efficient (note the dark theme of your Q10)

While LCD, do the opposite and produce more vivid colors, compared to the AMOLED is dark colors are not too dark, and there not as brilliant brights.
A LCD screen also needs a source of light.

    So, basically, that's the difference.

  • Q10 Q10 blackBerry in the sun screen

I noticed that the screen of the Q10 in the Sun will quite dark and becomes very difficult to read. The difference is noticeable compared to the BlackBerry Bold 9900 in the same conditions.

I adjusted the setting to the maximum but this Marina virtually no difference in the brightness.

    Any thoughts, please.

It will be very different from that of your device inherited from BBOS or even the Z10 as the Q10 use an AMOLED screen.

  • BlackBerry Q10 BlackBerry link 'Restore' option is grayed out

I ran the last 10 BlackBerry OS Update on Q10 BlackBerry to my wife last night. It seems to work correctly. However, when my wife went to use his phone this morning, it is in the configuration screen and all its information has been lost.

Needless to say, she is very angry with me.

She tried to do a "restore" BlackBerry connection after installation on its Q10, but the "restoration" option is grayed out.

    Help, please!

No phone is under settings. He appears at the bottom of the screen.

I had to uninstall BlackBerry link and reinstall it. Then it worked.

BlackBerry link has a long way to go!

  • Awakening Q10 Q10 blackBerry problem

I recently spent Baclberry "BOLD" to Q10, and I have quite a strange thing. Handset screen becomes sleep after 30 seconds, and when I try to access the device again, I have to push the power button on the top to wake up the unit and I need to lock the screen so I have to drag up to unlock the device. An alternative workaround is by pressing one of the following keys for the United Nations; lock screen (w, r, e, s, d, f, v).

Is this a bug or a feature custom made? Why it wouldn't take me to unlock the screen by dragging a time? yesterday I was chatting on BBM and every time (when the unit has been idle for 30 seconds or more) I had to press the power button, and then drag until you get to the application and it drove me crazy. I do not want to increase the screen timeout interval, it would consume more battery unnecessarily.

  • The Q10 blackBerry keyboard case

    Hello everyone
I bought the new Q10 blackberry and it's a surprise for me to see that four of its keys are concerned i.e. the 'A' button instead of the 'Q' key and key 'Z' is instead of 'W '. I wana know if it's a manufacturing defect or Blackberry Q10 has this default arrangement?

Hello and welcome to the community!

It seems that you have purchased a device with the keyboard "AZERTY" instead of the "QWERTY" one. It should have been an option for you to purchase, or maybe one that you bought from a made a mistake. I suggest that you contact for assistance.

I just got a new Q10 and studied and went settings and in the accessibility section, I arbitrarily struck the option screen magnifier.

There seems to be no way out of this mode and I can't use the Q10.

    Someone at - it suggestions?

    Thanks for the reply...

I called Rogers (my carrier) back and got a great person... Yes there are people who work for companies of cellular...

In any case he just had pinch and zoom and it fixes the problem... I know I feel stupid, but in the heat of working with it, I didn't it was a way out of the question!

  • Q10 Q10 blackBerry touch screen unresponsive

Since this morning my touchscreen unresponsive Q10, I made a BBLINK with cleaning but the screen is still not responding does not break without scratches, works for keyboard

«.. . When I press the power button to restart it shows me but I can't press the screen... »

Yes, I did not stop to think about it. I'm sorry.

Go ahead and make a traction battery. Remove the battery while your phone is on, then replace it a few seconds later. If your screen is still unresponsive, you may be better to report it to your carrier for warranty work. I have some other suggestions, but they require you to have access to your screen.

    I hope that helps you.

  • To remove the Q10 blackBerry icon on the home screen?

Can someone tell me how to hide or remove icons on my homescreen for apps that I don't use?

    Thank you.

Tap and hold an icon for a second or two. All icons will be begins to vibrate. As soon as they start pulsating, tap an icon you want to hide, and then drag it so that it covers another icon you want to hide. Once your phone sees two icons occupying the same space, you will be asked if you want to create a folder to contain these icons. Answer 'Yes', give the folder a name, and then drag any other icon you want to add. You can name the folder something like 'extras' or 'junk', etc.

    I hope that helps you.
