  You are trying to access WiFi through router?  If you are connected to your wireless network, but cannot access the internet, then the problem may be with the router.  Check that the router is connected to the internet.  If you have more than one router, then you can ensure that you are connected to the correct router.  You can also try unplugging the router for about 30 seconds, and then reconnecting it.  Please consult the following document, as it can help solve the problem for you:

  my first try the solution: I try to unlock the drive with my correct password and everything seems OK, drive is unlocked, but when I try to enter the disk I have the popup alert message: location is not available. J:\ is not available. Access is denied.

  After that, I try another option.

  try my second solution: In Control Panel > system and security > BitLocker Drive Encriptación I chose my encrypted disk and try to decrypt the drive. After maybe 7 hours and 99 percent, I got a pop-up message with the error. I don't remember now exactly how was the message.

  Now, when I log on windows, on another device (laptop) when I attach my WD 500 GB MY BOOKoutside, drive in my computer , I have the following status: my external WD MY BOOK 500 GBhard drive is unlocked, visible and recognized as a drive J:\, but I can't access it.

  When I try to enter again the drive, I have the popup alert message: location is not available. J:\ is not available. Access is denied.

  Also, I have the correct password and BitLocker recovery key stored correctly the USB onmy.

  Try changing the permissions on the drive for access.

  a. go to "Computer".

  b. right-click on drive J and choose Properties.

  c. click the 'Security' tab and see if your current user is displayed in the ' group or user names " list. If not, please click on the Add button, type the name of your current user account in the "enter the names of the objects to select " box, then click 'OK' to add this group.

  d. Select the user from the list, then check the box 'Allow' next of ' Full Control '.

  e. click on the Advanced button, and then click the 'Owner' tab. Then, press the button "Edit" .

  f. Select current user in the list and check the box "replace the owner of subcontainers and objects".

  g. click 'OK' to save the changes and wait for Windows to transfer ownership of all objects on the partition.

  h. click OK to save the changes and exit the Properties window.

  Check if you are able to access the drive.

  on the laptop, and exactly the same thing happens.
  We have other home computers that connect to the router and the internet
  OK using the wireless dongle.
  I plugged a rigid cable between the laptop and the router connection and I can't
  access the internet immediately without any problem, however, would be delighted
  to use the wireless function.

  Try please reboot your router. A few weeks ago, I had a similar problem with my Satellite A300. WLAN is connected but Internet was not available. After the router is restarted all of a sudden everything was ok again.

• When you try to add a new device, on access to tools, Options, Sync tab, no manage an account or add a device link button. I can get codes displayed to appear on another device but cannot access a screen that I can enter the codes.

  When you go to the tab sync, I see nothing like the picture in the help pages that show a button manage an account and Add link device. I have already overcome the problem of connection and enter my key synchronization but it's more effort and it seems to me that adding new devices does not work as described.   You have set up the WLan router with the right data from your ISP (internet service provider)?

  Further, I would recommend to disable all security on the router option and try to access the internet.
  I mean, you must disable the encryption (WEP, WPA), Mac filtering address, etc.
  In addition, check if, in settings TCP/IP, the option as "obtain an IP address automatically' has been set.

  Have you tried the WiFi connection using the customer like Intel ProSet utility or Atheros configuration tool?

  Recently, I brought a Dell with Windows Vista and a Belkin Wireless adapter in my house somewhere else. The computer has never had problems connecting to wireless internet on the other networks, however since the move I was not able to access the internet. Sometimes the network shows only a local connection and not Internet and other times, the network has a strong signal, a network identified and even an internet connection, but when I open any browser, it is only able to load the Google homepage and I cannot navigate anywhere else.   Captures we can see packets going from the pool to the internal LAN, but we do not reply back packages.

  The routing must be such that for 172.16.10.0/24 packages should reach the inside interface of the ASA.

  On client machines or your internal LAN switch, you need to add route for 172.16.10.0/24 pointing to the inside interface of the ASA.

• Lenovo K4 Note: WiFi connected but cannot access the internet.

  I have Windows Vista, IE 8 and labtop HP Pavilion. I had just recently Cricket Wireless Broadband, with a USB wireless modem. I now have the Charter/Comcast broadband through my cable. The modem is connected to my PC via the Ethernet port. On the connection icon on the toolbar on the right down, it shows that I am connected. The "Local Area Connection Status" in the network and sharing Center seems to be connected, since bytes are sent and received.

  However, when I'm on IE8, it acts as if there is no connection. Not being able to view the web page. Also, now when I go to a local WiFi hotspot, I can't connect to a network, just as I always, and it shows that there is a link, however, it won't let me access the internet. It used to work, before everything first, I connected the cable modem.

  Any ideas? Thank you!!

  If the Cricket connection works correctly but your cable connection is not, which suggests the computer is set up correctly and the problem is with the cable connection. All other systems are able to connect through the connection of the Charter? If this isn't the case, please contact Charter and see if they are able to determine the issue on their end or help you reconfigure the modem.

• VPN works, but cannot access the LAN...

  I have cisco vpn client connection to a 1721 at the office. the client connects and I can access the office LAN but but not the local network. I have the box checked in client vpn to allow access to the local network. Help, please!

  Hi Matt,

  The config looks good. Please make sure that you get a route to 192.168.69.0 255.255.255.0 network only after the connection to the VPN client. Please also correspond to the exit "route print" before and after the connection. One last thing, I hope that the local network is not 192.168.69.0.
