  Integrated OBIEE or OBI Apps - are built on standalone. It provides this stand-alone version features all, moreover, it has predefined solutions.

• OBIEE 11 g high availability/evolution using two servers

  I have 2 servers from Redhat Linux 64 bits.
  By using these 2 servers, I want to achieve high availability & failover.
  
  I have installed OBIEE (installation of the company) on the first server (main node) and the scale on the field on the second server (secondary node).
  
  Now, if the master goes down because of a reason any (by example-failure), will be the administrator of the server on the secondary node becomes active?
  My goal is to provide a system with minimal downtime.

  Make sure the parameter EM is defined: virtualize = true

  This means that if the server administrator is no longer available, the servers BI will be always available for all users

• Not able to apply the filter on certain groups of OBIEE integrated with EBS

  We have integrated with EBS OBIEE. There are some pre configured in OBIEE RPD groups. These groups are all members of the Group GL safety rules. I applied the filter of some safety GL group business model... But are not filtering data for certain groups. For the rest of the groups it works fine.
  
  I applied after filter on table GL Business logical area. (VALUEOF (NQ_SESSION. ("" EBS_BUSINESS_AREA_FULL ") = 'X' OR Core. "Dim - GL business district '." "' Level 20 business code" = VALUEOF (NQ_SESSION. (("" EBS_BUSINESS_AREA "))
  
  But this filter does not work for the following groups
  (1) OBI Budget content Global Support
  OBI 2 overall content power user)
  
  While it works very well for the following groups
  (1) OBI UK broadcast finance.
  Director of finance 2) OBI UK broadcast.
  
  I'm new to EBS. If someone can explain how the EBS group are mapped with RPD OBIEE groups and how the security is implemneted then it will be a great help.

• After you download PS CC 2015 eroor message...  Could not apply the workspace because the disk is not available.  Help!

  I am a Mac user and have the account Cloud creative photography.

  Yesterday, I downloaded the latest version of PS CC 2015.  Since when I try to create a new file in PS I get the above error message.

  I uninstalled and re-installed PS CC 2015 three times.

  I have reset Pram and MSC computer.  In addition, I held the course, option and i think during the opening of the PS and then get new settings.

  Nothing seems to have worked.

  A suggestion that I am heistant to try without some indications it's OK is to uninstall both the PS CC 2015, as well as the creative Clouud and then reinstall the creative cloud followed a new time download PS CC 2015 again.

  Try to give permissions to both libraries (library system & user library) and the Applications folder.

  For the Applications folder

  ---------------------------------

  Open Finder

  On the left panel, you will find applications-> folder, right-click on this (CTRL + click) and then click on read the information.

  Inside you will find sharing and permissions - Click on this

  You will find an icon of padlock at the bottom right, click on the lock icon, and then he could ask your mac password, please put to.

  Now, click the little plus (+) and then add the users you want to, please make sure that you add the admin account.

  Give read and write at all.

  Click the gear icon at the bottom of the get info window and choose "Apply to the elements included" it appears a message that the changes cannot be undone - click OK to that.

  This measure will apply privileges and which can take some time depending on the size of the file.

  Once this is done, click the lock icon, and then close the get info window.

  Done with file applications here.

  For the user's library

  Hi all, I'm new on the Oracle SOA costume product and environment and I have a few questions about Oracle SOA costume and installing Oracle b2b.
  
  We are a student this product to build our b2b integration environment and we need it to high availability. While research on documents of the oracle, I've seen it is possible to have a stand-alone instance Oracle AS B2B integration (so that I have would need to have a J2EE and Oracle Application Server Web cache) and Oracle SOA suit installed in another machine. Now I am a little confused because isn't Oracle B2B a binding element of SOA Suite? I don't know if it's really possible or if it was possible in previous versions.
  
  For example: I'm able to have B2B Oracle installed in a machine and Oracle SOA costume + Oracle Service Bus to another?
  
  Or there is no way to do it? I can't have Oracle B2B off Oracle SOA suit Installation?

  Hi Philippe,.

  Unlike in SOA 10g, Oracle b2b belongs to an Oracle SOA Suite 11 g. There is no separate facility for b2b to oracle 11 g. It comes as part of the Oracle Fusion Middleware components.

  As u said oracle b2b is a separate facility in SOA Suite 10 g.

  Go over this guide to get an idea of installing SOA suite 11 g.

  We do the POC on integrating OBIEE 11.1.1.9.0 Hyperion 11.2.4 space via SSO.

  The documentation says:

  They should use storage of common identity for the standards body to work. I installed OBIEE home separate middleware and Hyperion Planning in separate middleware, identity storage is different for the two products.

  The integration will work? anyone tried this?

  If not, in the case if we want that it is on the same identity (embedded weblogic ldap) store should install us hyperion and obiee on same middleware House? Is supported the installation of Hyperion and OBIEE on same middleware House?

  You will need to use a common external directory and configuration that is supported by OBIEE and EMP for example MSAD

  Take a look at the support matrix to see which directories are supported.

  E.M.P. 11.1.2.2 does not support currently OBIEE via the workspace, but I believe that 11.1.2.3 will support the integration of the workspace with OBIEE 11.1.1.7, also I think that there could be a patch to make it work with 11.1.2.2, I can't confirm when it will be available as well.

  By default in OBIEE, you do not find "The current Session settings" under my account - preferences

  The "current Session settings" appear in my account--> preferences when OBIEE integrated with EBS

  EBS has sent this setting to OBIEE after connection process completed successfully.

  So, I also believe in your case, you have integrated OBIEE-EBS.

  In this case, my account - options preferences are overridden when login again of BSE occurs and the

  'Current Session settings' parameter sent running when the integration between OBIEE and EBS is a priority

  and he pulls the language of EBS to be language / local by default.

  Therefore, if this needs to be changed, the change should happen late in the EBS.

  Integration of Oracle Applications Business Intelligence with Oracle E-Business Suite (Doc ID 555254.1) Note

  Choose the application that you create the Menu and key responsibility set any unique value as shown.

  (Note: to keep the uniqueness property, the key to accountability is not translated in different languages.)

  We are implementing EBS 12.1.3 and OLIVIER 7.9.6.4 (on obiee 11.1.1.7.0) and I'm trying to understand a concept based on the integration of SSO between EBS & OLIVIER:

  -For the integration of SSO between EBS & OBIEE to work, I must explicitly create any user to OBIEE, and then map it to a particular user to EBS? Or is there no need to create any explicit user in OBIEE?

  (I couldn't find it mentioned in the documents of EBS & OLIVIER/OBIEE integration that I talked yet)

  What you say is correct. Add to your points

  the user does not need to be already exist in OBIEE, but you create application roles in similar EM for the responsibilities that you have created in EBS. Now, you would be assign responsibilities to users in EBS for example: financial OBIEE will have users ABC, XYZ, so when you create the same Application roles in the EM as EBS you would be assign these roles to application to SA different regarding the names of responsibility EBS eg: financial OBIEE application roles would be related to SA Financials so when the user clicks on that responsibility in EBS to navigate to OBIEE would use the application role in EM and give the user access to finance SA to form analysis. Similarly, you would be assign created in EM to the catalog application roles to access respective dashboards

• Redundancy of the workspace

  How can I make my Horizon Workspace deployment highly available in the event of failure?  There are 5 VMs to vApp, but none of them are there to provide redundancy for the others.  I'm afraid that the workspace is a single point failure for my environment to view giant.  I saw a "addvm" command... should I just run which, for all 5 mV in the vApp and then I'll have 10VMs with each VM with compensation for redundancy?  Or it does not work like that?

  Today, with the data - will, Yes, we have redundancy. Basically, a set of users are assigned to each data - going. If this goes data fails, these users will not be able to access the data horizon features. We actively try to fix this in our future versions.

  You mentioned that you use view integration, which should not have any how reliance on data - will go down. Please let us know if you are using data to horizon as well. If so, we should call for webex and we can guide you through a few ways of redundancy using HA etc.
