• Any way to apply the display folder settings specifically to subfolders?

  I do NOT want my folder settings to apply to all files, just a special and its subfolders.

Now, when it comes to photos, I like they are large icons with sorting like Update - Crescent . Rather than do it manually for every single file in this folder, can I make changes to the main folder and it specifically applies to subfolders ?

  You can apply it to a single folder or as much as you want at once.  Just "select lasso' (or ctrl-click or what you want to do to highlight the files that you want to change), then go to properties."  You can change all the folders that you want at the same time.

  For example, let's say I want that program, the users files and temp of all be considered as photo folders and use this model.  I can select them, go to properties and change them all at once.

  Nothing is useless :)

  Windows 7 Explorer is not to remember the folder settings. Whenever I click on a folder and return my ' sort by ' is replaced in alphabetical order by default.   Looks like you access your files through libraries.  This behavior is what they are supposed to do.  I also used to find embarrassing, so I stopped to use libraries.

  Access your files via C:\Users\YourUserName\ instead, and then any changes made to an individual folder is saved to this folder.

• Contact folder settings change Z10 blackBerry does not stick

  I have a z10 connected to exchange 2013 via activesync.  Randomly, my selections "edit contacts folder settings" gets delivered to all contacts folders.  I also noticed when this happens that my contacts are all gone, and I have to disable/re-enable contacts sycn to retrieve them.  What happens on almost every blackberry on our system.  Recently, we migrated from groupwise to Exchange...  So this is a new installation of exchange, and perhaps're missing us a setting somewhere?

  We have also removed any contact folder except the "blackberry" folder we want synchronized, and it also erases random contacts on the phone.

  Everyone fell on this?

  It turns out that it's a bug...  They will be be fixing this issue in a future release.  They are making a KB36964 article that will soon be available to the public.

  What worked for me is to completely disable the synchronization of contact, and then turn it back on.  The question returned however...

  It was also noted that during these synchronization problems the PIM service would eat to the top of the stack and drainign in a few hours.

  Hi, I'm trying to copy a set of predefined (.xmp) files in my folder settings so that I can load when you use Camera Raw filter. However, when I browse, the only folders that I seem to have it are these (Adobe, CameraProfiles and LensProfiles). Where is my folder settings?

  Why can I not see it when I manually navigate to this folder? I all administrator privileges on my machine and have also turned the "show all hidden files" on my Mac with no luck.

  As on Mac's recent that the library user is hidden by default, an easy way to get there is to click on your desktop, click the Go menu, hold down the Option key and click library.

  This should take you to your user library.

  

  Or click on your name in the sidebar of the Finder under Favorites, click on the view menu, click View the Options and then check display the library folder

  (then you will still be able to view your user library in the Finder)

  To see your user name on the sidebar of the Finder, click on your desktop, click on the Finder menu, click on Preferences and less Sidebar > Favorites, check your user name.

  It is IMPORTANT that you do not delete these files. They are very important to the operating system.

  Instead, you can hide:

  • Open the Options folder by clicking the Start button, clicking Control Panel, appearance and personalization, and then clicking Folder Options.
  • Click the view tab.
  • Under Advanced settings, make sure that "Show hidden files and folders" and "Hide protected operating system files ' are not checked, and then click OK.

  I have windows 7 x 64 user. There is a problem with google reader I need different from that of the default permissions for C:\Users\\AppData\Local\Temp. I changed the permissions in this way: make a right click-> Security-> advanced-> permissions-> change approval-> clicked on include... inherited permissions and replace the child object permissions... Also, the folder option, I changed the hidden folders. However, after each reboot, I see not hidden files (hidden folder option resets to do not show hidden file) and permissions for resetting folder above. What causes reset of the changed properties? I have no optimizer tool except ccleaner. I use mcafee antivirus. I think that mcafee is unlikely to cause this problem. 
  How can I solve this problem? I tried to make the batch file that runs boot, but I can't use option "inherit permissions". I give you the batch commands:

  There was a similar post last week which unfortunately has fizzed out (as do about 95% of all messages...).  Maybe you can gather enough energy not only to track down the source of your problem, but also post an answer here.

  The following commands do not work:
  takeown /f "%Temp%" /.
  Cacls "%Temp%" / t/g everyone: F
  (answer Y to the prompt)
  And Yes, I know cacls.exe is deprecated. But it still works!

  If there is no definition of this option is enabled by default, so I guess you should choose external, output noise always using the DTS sound profile.

  Yes, you can save your position edited final and other metadata to the files (or files in the case of the FIRST sidecar) using the metadata command-> save metadata to file or alternatively turning on the option Edit-> settings-> metadata catalog then check automatically write changes to XMP

There is no advantage to go to the text file or the photo file to find this information. In addition, you don't like the option that copies the settings on another photo, it seems that it does exactly what you want it to do. So, I don't understand your reason for this, it seems that Lightroom already gives you the tools, and it seems you do useless work for yourself.

  Senario:
  If you added a file called "Clients.sbd" directly in the account of 'Local folders' in the profile folder.
  Should a mbox file called "Customers" and indexing a file called "Clients.msf" in the same place - note them part must be spelled exactly the same as the name of the folder .sbd 'Clients '.

  To get a file 'Customers' in the local folders follow these steps:

  In thunderbird
  Right-click on "Local folders" and choose: 'new folder '.
  type the name: customers
  Create a subfolder under "local folders".

  This will create the mbox as 'Clients' file and also the file "Clients.msf".
  Close and restart Thunderbird.
