  Unfortunately no, but a solution could be to hide the sidebar.

  Go to the Finder menu bar, click View > hide sidebar, or you can use the Option + command + S shortcut keyboard.

  Hi Kunsheng,

  If you use the function 'Write to a spreadsheet file', then you can not set the width. You create a txt file with this function, not real excel file. For a true Excel file, you can use ActiveX.

  a. press Windows + E to open Windows Explorer.
  b. go to the view tab, click Options.
  c. click change the folder and Search Options and go to the view tab.

  I am currently transfer my InDesign scripts to run on InDesign Server 2015, so far all worked well, so far.

  Which works very well.

  I already tried these approaches instead:

  • By simply using the number without unit
  • Using an integer instead of a double
  • Concatenating the string before using to assign width
  • With the help of a literal string

  so far nothing worked here. Strange thing is that he works on dozens of other columns with the one of the ways mentioned to do.

  The exact same script also works very well to InDesign CS5.5.

  InDesign does not set a table column width or row height under 1.058 mm (not even in the script). And in the scripts, it will not let you define under 1,059 mm. Try to work with 1,059 mm, and it should work.

• Width of column in table form

  I searched the forum for an answer to my problem, but what I found and tried (column width different fields, ccs styles, etc.) did not work and I'm about to pull out my hair. I use APEX 4.1. I have a tabular presentation with multiple columns and rows of data. In some of the columns widths are too narrow for text data, and it encapsulates the data three times or more. Like this:

  This function of the column width does not seem to have done in the external documentation, but the online help says:

  There was no substitution string #COLUMN_WIDTH # in your model. I've now added and it seems to work:

  #COLUMN_VALUE#
  

  Note that you can also control the width of a column using the column formatting CSS Style property which allows you to use devices other than pixels:

  A customer migrate their 2 400 forms of old JetForms as PDF (LiveCycle Designer) and would like to keep the same functionality, so that it is used in the old platform. However, some of the old tool features do not seem to be present in LiveCycle.

  Suppose that a drop down menu in a table cell, containing the elements whose lengths are larger than the column of the table. In JetForm, when you open the drop-down menu that spans the columns to display all of its content, do not cut the contents of the drop-down list.

  I tried this in LiveCycle, but the drop down menu gets cut and its content is limited to the column in the table (where the drop-down menu below) width.

  Is there a way to bypass this limitation, even if I use scripts?

  Currently, the width of my columns using the column graph tool seem to be dictated by the number of columns, I had altogether. So if I did two columns both gets really large. But if I have four of them, they look very nice. Is it possible to set a fixed width on the columns with column graph tool?

  Select your chart, double-click the graphic tool at the bottom of the dialog box, enter the percentage you want the coulmns be and the percentage desired this cluster to occupy.

  Is there a way to tell SQL * more to set the width of a column with the largest width of the items in the column? (as opposed to the default which is declared in the DDL width)
  
  In other words, I would like to do something functionally equivalent to this:

  I do above manually in two steps
  
  1. select max (length (columnname)) of...
  
  2 col columnname format a [resultofstep1]

  Hi John

  I don't think that there is a way to do this, because this information is not known at run time (as you proved it, you must run a separate SQL query first to calculate that information - also, what happens if there are predicates, this could affect the defined result so the request will actually be performed twice). You may decide an arbitrary width for each column and set it as being wrapped/word_wrapped/truncated.

  Other that that, you should consider whther you are using the right tool for the job, SQLplus is not exactly ideal for the presentation layer stuff. Something like APEX would give you much more control over the layout and formatting.

  I want to use the button "Run the Script" (NOT execute statement) to run a SQL. I want an output text is easier to read (fixed-width fonts!) and save. The problem is that it is impossible to control the column width. SQLPlus style 'column' does not work. And even a few substr(), trim(), the column is completed up to the length (?) original.
  
  For example, I want to display code source PLSQL USER_SOURCE:

  order by  name, type, line

  SQLDeveloper pads the output to 4,000 characters (?), which makes the unusable output (for example, to save or even look at one). Using functions like the function rtrim(), substr() does not help.
  
  Because SQLDeveloper is displayed not correctly output of SQL, SQLPlus is still irreplaceable. But you need everything to prevent it kicked away from the buffer to the coil.
  
  (OK I know that I can use dbms_metadata in this case.) But this is just one example...)

  As you say, it's impossible.
  However, I suggest that you get 2.1.1 with a fixed-width font in the grid of statement Run As. Then use the export of the grid (menu) or CTRL-+ A CTRL + C (or CTRL-SHIFT-C with position) If you want to save.

• How to get rid of this CS4 workspace only width of column fixed

  Hello-

  I am new to Dreamweaver, so whether it is a FAQ, please forgive me, but I don't see it anywhere.

  Using CS 4, I created a column fixed, only, with header and footer.

  I'm having a problem getting rid of the space between the header and the main content.  Ideally, I want to insert a picture into the header and menus spry immediately below the header bar.   But I can't get rid of the space at the end of the header, so there is a gap between the header and the menu bar on IE7.

  In an effort to see where exactly is the problem, I created a shell, without even the banner and the menu that shows where exactly is the problem.

  Notice the Green between the header and the main content.  Why is this here?   And more importantly, how can I get rid of him?

  The Green is visible by me on IE7 and Firefox, is not only a problem of IE. But illustrates the source of the problem, when I add the banner and the menu bar.

  As many of you will recognize when you view the code, this is straight from CS4, without even the banner and the bar menus spry, but with minor changes for:

  1. Add margin: 0; for any container which have not already.  But that didn't change anything.

  2 remove the vertical fill, just in case where that was the problem - but no, who did not a difference either

  3. changing the colors to illustrate the problem.
