• automatic configuration error: afcpctx.sh INSTE8_PRF 1

  I have a question. On a 11.5.9 example, when I run the autoconfig on the application layer, I get the error
  afcpctx.sh INSTE8_PRF 1
  
  As documented, when I look at the log file, I see that the error is PL/SQL being too small buffer.
  I put under patch 3377508 - AFCPCTX. SH FAILS WITH ORA - 6502 WHEN FNDCPUCF RUNS, ran autoconfig and same error.
  I applied patch 3810902 -AUTOCONFIG OUT WITH ERRORS, ran autoconfig and still finished with error.
  
  This time, I get the following:
  
  "Analysis of the context... file.
  Serial number in the context file contains a lower value than the copy of the database.
  
  Cause: The file editing by Oracle Applications Manager context did not complete synchronization of file system. If please correct errors that caused when editing and run this program again. (FILE$ APPL_TOP/admin / < CONTEXT_FILE > .xml)

• WLAN Autoconfig error 2: the system cannot find the specified file

  Hello!

  I've read through messages for 2 days now the solution could apply to my problem yet.
  My wireless adapter stopped working and I traced the problem back to Services-> Wlan AutoConfig' that cannot be started. Whenever I press 'Start', I get a message saying "" Windows could not start the service WLAN autoconfiguration on the computer Local Wlan AutoConfig error 2: the system cannot find the specified file "."
  I tried the "sfc/scannow" and "netsh winsock reset" command in an elevated command prompt and then restart, but neither have worked.
  Now I'm all out of options and I hope someone here can help me!

  After doing a lot of research I found a solution. It turns out that my registry has been screwed up (I also try to get aero back and noticed that I have no "themes" in the registry or services.) Wlansvc in the registry were missing folder and the security settings.

  My problem was

  As I had windows 8 on the other partition, I exported the registry (wlansvc), went into windows 7 and he added. Now I can connect wirelessly.

  The question may be due to the UNIQUE authentication that may be unavailable. OSSO-OID radiation can be made to solve the problem if you use not OSSO, or you do not want OSSO. Try the following command to remove integration OSSO-OID.

  I am getting error in autoconfig with jtfictx.sh.  I am cloning PROD to QA. Usually, I use RMAN duplicate to clone the database and then the System Application files are copied. I did this method repeatedly (for example 25 times).

  This iteration after the recovery of the database, I have run the autoconfig RDBMS that completed successfully. So I ran the autoconfig on the simultaneous server manager first and received the error below. There is no change to my usual No.

  I usually save the autoconfig / context file before the refreshment of the EBS files from PROD. The previous was refreshed 2 months ago and he succeeded. There is no change on the ORACLE_HOME such database shown in the error.

  The culprit for the number is the CTXSTS. DEFAULT_LEXER. YES attribute INDEX_THEMES was made.

  Solution:

  (1) connect to the ctxsys database and run exec ctx_ddl.set_attribute ('DEFAULT_LEXER', 'INDEX_THEMES', 'no');

  (2) now remove and re-create the index as follows:

  $ cd $JTF_TOP/115/patch/sql /.

  $ sqlplus apps/apps @jtfiimt.sql JTF JTF NULL NULL

  Note: The 'jtfiaibu.sql' script is used to remove and recreate the "JTF_AMV_ITEMS_URL_CTX Intermedia text index."

• Patching destroys my new EBS instance :(

  As I said before, I used this procedure to apply the hotfix:

  adoption phase = apply patches = 20059164 patchtop = / home/applcrp2/patch_for_application /hotpatch = yes

  and I have not met problems.

• EMCA-rest create instance unavailable error causes

  I'm at a client site and try to create the repository of the em.
  
  During the execution of the emca - config dbcontrol db-rest create command I get the following error "Unavailable Instance Data Base". There was permission on the user sysman issues before me to be there so I dropped the repo before attempting create - the - fall rest worked perfectly.

  also, check the file and remove it manually if necessary

  rm - rf $ORACLE_HOME.

  rm - rf $ORACLE_HOME/oc4j/j2ee/OC4J_DBConsole_ _

  Then try to recreate the db console.

  We did our EBS configuration on our Dev instance... and have responsible for the dummy data for test... we now would like to copy the configuration of an own instance (without data).
  Is this possible?
  If so, what choice do we have?

  This is not possible - there is no way to delete/remove/purge data support and create an instance of 'clean '.

  You must perform a new installation and redo all your installations on the database of the new facility.

  Best practice is to create an instance of 'gold' or 'setup' with all your facilities (but not data) and allows to clone or seeds of other instances as needed.
