12.2.1.0.0 gives corrupted file to decompress windows 7 pro

Anyone else had this error?

12.2.1.0.0 gives corrupted file to decompress windows 7 pro, I downloaded the full version of windows.  File1 and file2

You run a virus scanner?

These programs are known to corrupt big files pushed, which is what you download, even if the file has the extension ".exe".

Disable the antivirus and then download the files, start the virus scanner and try to install.

Another way would be to download the installation program generic Erich you will get files zip or jar files which you can test before you begin the installation.

    Hello

Thanks for joining us on the Microsoft Community.

According to the description of the problem you are facing problems with reinstalling Windows XP Professional, and you are to be invited to insert the Service Pack 1 drive to complete the installation.

To help you to propose measures to solve the problem, I would appreciate if you could answer the following questions:

    1. did you uninstall Windows XP Service Pack 1 prior to reinstalling Windows XP?

    2. what was the installed Service Pack earlier?

You may need to uninstall Windows XP Service Pack 1 first and then perform the reinstallation of Windows XP and to check if the installation goes smoothly.

  • system32\DRIVERS\pci.sys missing or corrupt file error but windows xp is already preloaded on computer when purchased

missing or corrupt file error system32\DRIVERS\pci.sys keeps appearing. I had a problem with google chrome and then stop everything. This error appeared. It tells me to use the cr rom boot but xp was already loaded on the sony vaio that we bought a few years ago. I don't know what to do next because I don't want to lose the pictures and music, we have on the hard drive. Any help would be appreciated

If your data is not backed up, then at some point that the data will be lost.

Your Sony are delivered with a hidden restore partition or recovery disks, but I do not think that the Sony recovery allows to repair an installation of win, only pure install.

You must remove the drive and it slave on another PC in order to retrieve the data, or take it to a decent repair shop for them to do it for you

I do not understand your problem and the first link specifically mentions the file extensions.

Batch change/rename the Extensions of files in Windows
    http://www.AddictiveTips.com/Windows-tips/batch-change-rename-file-extensions-in-Windows/

And the Google link also specifically mentions the file extensions too.

See if you can get your hands on this program.  It allows to rename the files so that they have no extension.  Then use it to set a fixed file on these files without extension renamed extension.  It worked for me so it could for you.

  • Cannot be accessed reliably host file shares in Windows 10 Pro

I can see my folder of Fusion 'Share' using the link on the desktop. I can't not reliable access shortcuts to the same or subfolders in my library of Docs not to (all from the file Explorer?) but some applications can and dreaded getting the "not found" dialog box. This means that I can't open files in sharing most of my applications making my Windows 10 VM basically useless (it is not the only virtual machine I use and have several that need access to the same share). Anyone else having this problem? I'm running the Mavericks as the host operating system, i7 quad core 16 GB RAM, NVIDIA GeForce GT 650 M 1 GB of VRAM (MacBook Pro 15 "Mid2012). I couldn't find a similar post in this forum. Any help will be appreciated.

    Hello

As far as I KNOW, the following steps will send your host file-sharing problem.

1 take a snapshot (so you can come back)

    2 uninstall vmware tools

    3. restart Windows 10

    4. install vmware tools

    5 restart Windows 10

    6. test if your shared folders work correctly now and if so, remove the snapshot.

  • Tried to install downloaded like mozilla and google chat .exe files but recover corrupted file error!

I just new laptop ASUS K42F with Windows 7 Home. Tried to install the basic downloaded such as Mozilla and Google Chat programs, but continue to get the "corrupted file error (more information go to nsis.sf.net/NSIS_error). How to remedy this situation so that I can download updates etc in the future.

    Hello

There are many different factors can be attributed to your question.  It could be your network card, a problem with your ISP, Modem, or any other number of things.  Something happens during the download process that causes your files get corrupted.  We would like a little more info to help solve your problem.

Are you connected via a wired or wireless?
If you are connected wireless; you could try to connect with a wire and then try the downloads.

Who is your Internet service provider, and what kind of equipment do you use to connect to their service?

You may have a faulty modem.  You can call most of the suppliers and ask them to test your equipment/connection to see if it is the problem.

You have other computers on your network?

If the answer is "Yes"; do you have the same results as the download of files on them?

All type of internet security applications or third-party firewall you use?

If the answer is "Yes";  try temporarily disabling them and download your files.

You are connected to a router?

If you are, try to connect directly to the modem and see what kind of results you get.

If none of this helps, please post your hardware specs so that we can give you more troubleshooting steps

    Response
    Hello
    1. do you have similar problems when connecting other USB (Universal Serial Bus) devices to the computer?
    2. What is the exact error that you receive when you connect the printer to the computer?
    Method 1:
Try the troubleshooting provided in the link below steps to solve common problems with the printer in Windows
    Printer in Windows problems
    Method 2:
If the step above does not help us to diagnose the problem, uninstall the [Universal Serial bus] USB host controller drivers and restart the computer. Let Windows install the generic drivers and then see if it helps you to solve the problem.
    (a) Open Device Manager by clicking the Start button
    (b) If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
    (c) search the [Universal Serial bus] USB host controller device, right-click on it and select uninstall.
    (d) restart the computer.
    (e) to restart, Windows XP must re - install the drivers automatically.

a message about this yesterday.  I got response, but could not answer.

Here are things I tried.  I've tried everything else.  I am convinced there is a corrupted file, but it's beyond my ability to find and replace.  I could really use help... This printer has worked for more than three years.  The ports worked with other devices until I uninstalled all 7 of my USB HOST controller drivers.  Now my logitec mouse (wireless) no longer works.

I do not understand the relevance of keeping these files on my computer or if they can affect other programs. I am concerned also a call today from PC doctor of the assistants of the India who suggested I have delete the files and what it would cost for them to do etc. I do not understand how they established the fact that I had these files or how they looked at my phone number. Please give advise me on this if possible because it is worrying me and make me feel insecure when using the computer in question. Thanking you in advance.

  • Urgent... a file in the system registry is corrupt... Windows will not start

    Hello

It's George who has just encountered a problem with my Sony Vaio laptop last night. My priority is to find the superior application test which is located in the desktop of the computer.

The computer has had problems with a google redirect virus which all the analysis programs antivirus could not detect, and last night, the computer stops after a power failure and was not able to start the windows program.

The computer will start, but he's going to ask me directly with a message to choose three operating systems which is the Recovery Console, "not to select this [active debugger], and Windows xp home edition.

Nothing in the menu advanced options of windows would work even safe mode. I was fooling around in the recovery mode, and I have reason to believe that the system registry is corrupted for windows.

I have trie offered to the http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;30754 method

How do I recover from a corrupted registry that prevents Windows XP startup

This article was previously published under Q307545

    , but I don't have a windows boot cd, so I couldn't continue.

I'm looking for more help from the world wide web.

My superior applications are due within a week and help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you for your time

    sincerely

If you want to, you can also do another type of bootable CD, and usually, you will be able to simply copy your important files on a USB key, and then on another system.

    Here's an idea:

Do you have a Hiren BootCD you can download here:

    http://www.hirensbootcd.org/download.html

On the left, click on download, scroll down, choose the most recent version the download link is a little hard to see and they sometimes change the location of the download link, then you might have to look around her.  Today, it is at the bottom of the page, above the drop for older versions and looks like this:

    Hirens.BootCD.13.0.zip

Beware of the other links on the page to other types of downloads for other types of CD - be sure that eventually you will download the latest version which is now a file called:

    Hirens.BootCD.13.0.zip

The ZIP file is large, so the download will take probably some time to complete.  Then unzip the download to extract the Hirens.BootCD.ISO file that will be used to create your new bootable CD.

Create a bootable CD. ISO file is not the same as simply copying the. File ISO onto a blank CD.  You must use software that includes how to burn a. ISO to a CD to create a bootable CD.

File ZIP the Hiren is the file BurnToCD.cmd that you can double-click to launch it.  The BurnToCD.cmd will use the file BurnCDCC.exe to burn the. ISO file onto a blank CD using your existing CD burner.  You can also use your own burning software as long as your software is able to create a bootable CD. ISO file.  More modern burning programs can create a bootable CD. ISO image.  Create a CD from an ISO image bootable is not the same as just the file on a CD burning.

If you need a simple and CD burning, this is a free software popular software:

    http://www.ImgBurn.com/

Here are some instructions for ImgBurn:

    http://Forum.ImgBurn.com/index.php?showtopic=61

It would be a good idea to test your new bootable CD on a computer running.

You may need to adjust the computer BIOS settings to use the CD-ROM drive as the first device to boot instead of the hard drive.

These adjustments are made before Windows tries to load.  If you miss it, you will need to restart the system again.

When starting on the Hiren's CD, you will see a menu of options.  Choose Mini XP.  It will appear while Windows is loading and you will be presented with a desktop computer that has the look and feel of the interface of Windows Explorer, you are already accustomed to using.

Using the Mini XP, you can access Internet, maneuvering around your system, search for files, copy files, replace the files and run the scans for malware, edit the text files (like the c:\boot.ini) etc.

There are dozens of free and useful tools included in the CD that can be used to repair your system or copy your important personal files on another device (like a USB device or an external drive) in the case where you just give up and decide to reinstall your XP (I hope that you will not make this decision).

Do, or do not. There is no test.
