12 '' macbook 2015 double slider

My macbook cursor often jumps position when I write pages, notes, e-mail, etc..  I brought it to Apple twice - the first time they replaced the macbook and the second time they replaced the top box, but none solved the problem. The question was so bad that I turned off the tap to click, and now my cursor jumps no position more.

BUT there are still often two sliders on the screen - an above my typing and other soaring or I form, placed randomly on the page.  They do not disappear when I start typing, either.

Is this normal?  If not, is there any suggestions of what I can do to make repair? I want to type it in again!

A reboot seems to fix this kind of problem.

If this does not work, scroll through the search options until you see the menu 'Go '. Press 'Go' and the Option at the same time, and you will see the hidden from the Finder menu. Navigate to Preferences/com.apple.universalaccess.plist. Move this file to the desktop and restart.

If it works, the double cursor will disappear. You can then take the file you put on the desktop of your computer and trash.

Skimming it I can see that there are a number of frustrated users, while others have no problems. It is fairly typical of a computer problem. There are suggestions on how to reduce battery drain and to monitor the status of the battery. Interesting to read but no promises.

My MacBook 2015 12 "retina screen went black, all this experience?

This occurs when you wake up from sleep while opening the screen? I have this problem when trying to open the screensaver macbook, aka black death simply showing the mouse pointer. Genius bar is 2 service attempts to solve this problem; subsequently replaced by macbook brand new. Guess what... it again just two or three weeks later! I think it's an inherent problem with this line of macbook 12 inches early 2015. I'm decided to resume to the genius bar and will ask them to replace it with the new model of 2016.

  • How to connect 12 '' MacBook (2015) to a 24 "or 27" Apple Cinema Display AND fresh!

I made this post on my site here: https://underground.net/how-to-connect-an-apple-display-to-a-usb-c-macbook/ (which I will update regularly)

This installation took me a LONG time to understand, but it works very well, no wake mode 'sleep', etc.

To connect the new MacBook to a 24″ Cinema Display or Apple 27″ LED Display Monitor (who both have a record which is the same as the Thunderbolt connector, but are not actually screens Thunderbolt) you can opt for a really cheap option, as the following point 3.1 AllSmartLife USB Type C adapter Mini DisplayPort Amazon for $ 20 :

That works very well, but you cannot load your computer when you are connected to the screen, nor can you plug something else on your computer as an external hard drive, etc.

To be able to recharge your computer AND connect to the screen AND connect other devices to your MacBook, you need the following configuration, and it works great, btw.

    1 first download this USB-C for USB multi-port, Belinda® USB-C for 3 ports USB 3.0 , which is about $ 36 on Amazon.

2 then, you need an expensive element, StarTech.com USB 3.0 to DisplayPort 2560 x 1600 video card Multi monitor external adapter (USB32DPPRO), which is around $74 on Amazon:

3 Finally you need a cheap item, the Cable questions DisplayPort / Mini DisplayPort male to female adapter at $ 9 on Amazon:

Plug all the in such things and he ends up you look pretty clean where it connects to the computer, as you can see below and you can plug in the USB port of the screen on the hub and use the speakers on the screen, AND you still an available for a hard drive, external USB 3.0 port.

It will cost you around $119! Wow, that's a LOT, but it works. Or you can go cheap and just get the first card for $20 but charge your MacBook by disconnecting from time to time to plug in the charger. What a PAIN in the * Apple.

The new MacBooks coming will be equipped with a combined USB/Thunderbolt-c plug that should * hope * connect a screen and charge at the same time cheaper, but who knows?

If you want me to your post something, I can put it on the MacBook 2015 using forum boards.

  • Double slider

    Hello, Hello,

What is the best way to make a double slider to select a range of values?

By that I mean you have a cursor with MIN / values of MAX and two sliders, a LOW and high. One is of course always lower than the other (strict or not).

I tried a simple way with 2 separate sliders (named HIGH and LOW) and set the MIN from that HIGH to the current value of the BASS and put the MAX of the BASS to the current value of the HIGH. But since their change of min/max, they kind of change dynamically in annoying ways.

    You have better suggestions?

    Hello

What happened to just have two sliders, one for your min and the other for your max value. The two sliders would have the same range but you would take into account for the values programmatically. You would like to check to see if all of the max value is greater than the min value in your code.

Is not an option for you?

    Best regards

  • Vs MacBook 2015 2016

I get a new MacBook for school next year. I am ordering him to Best Buy. My parents offer to pay $1000 to get a MacBook. I like much the 12 inch MacBook. I was wondering if I should pay the extra $300 for the 2016 or I should just use what they gave me for the 2015 version. Help, please!

You won't find much difference in performance unless for some strange reason, you do CPU intensive tasks that can take advantage of the new features of gen 6 intel or video editing. Even though the beginning of 2016 - have a tone of improvements, each improvement was not all significant compared to what was the beginning of 2015. You are not buying a macbook 12 "to be a beast of power.  Save yourself $300. I have a feeling you won't have game or video editing on this 90% of the time machine. If you are, better review you your decision on buying a macbook 12 "in the first place.

  • Uninstall iTunes from my macbook 2015 pro forever

I would like to uninstall iTunes on my macbook pro 2015 and there is not installed for the rest of my life or that of my computer, apply.  However, given that iTunes is a apparently a virus, it continues to display upward no matter what I do.  Suggestions?  I would have preferred the comments involving the removal of this software from my computer, rather than the kind telling me what a fool I am not love iTunes.  Thanks in advance.

iTunes is now considered to be part of the operating system of the computer and in this respect is considered (by Apple) key to the operation of the computer as the code to draw the image on your monitor.  This is just to tell you that it's not like 10 years ago, when iTunes was an optional installation.  It's kind like ask Ford to you make a car without a radio.  I am not questioning your reason for wanting to remove it, but if you let us know what you hope to achieve this doing, we may be able to make suggestions. You won't save a lot of disk space.  If it exasperates you by the presence of a music file opens automatically with iTunes when you click on it there are easy ways to prevent this.

I use the Mavericks. I have not deleted iTunes, but I prefer iTunes 7.5. I copied the app from my old computer to this one and compressed the 11.4 that the installer had put on this computer. So far no problem.  Realize, however, the software updates seem to come in large packages these days, so even if you delete iTunes it can reappear as part of an update software General do you in the future.  I disabled automatic software updates and try to analyze the content of each of them before as I do, but it is becoming harder and harder to find those who are the true component system updates and those who are what I consider more general software such as iTunes or Safari.  In this regard, you can not reach your desire for ever unless you remove once and never in your life update your software.

  • To buy: MacBook 2015 (12 ") vs MacBook Pro 2015 (13')

I need to replace 2009 15 my daughter "MB Pro.  She is in graduate studies for teaching, the basis of the two models would be my limit of crazy, and they are both sold at the same price.

Uses would be: Internet research with several tabs open, writing and editing documents of research education, design of bridges in PowerPoint, use it in the classroom for presentations and e-mail.  No weight heavy photo or video editing or game.

I think it leans more towards the regular MacBook because she loves the new keyboard and it is light.  However, it has concerns about the small size of the screen (to facilitate the edition of research papers, etc.), saw only a single USB port and the apparently much stronger specifications of the Pro.

Any thought would be appreciated, especially for those who have a first hand experience with both machines.  Thank you!

I have a Macbook pro 13 "2015 Retina and a Macbook from 2015.  I am a moderate user, usually by e-mail, word processing, spreadsheets, browing web, etc...  The Macbook Pro is my main computer.  I use it at home for personal and professional tasks, and I use it with a Thunderbolt screen so I have a bigger screen.   I travel often and that's when I use the Macbook because of its light weight and smaller profile.  I am very satisfied with these two machines.  Based on my experience and your description of the use, either machine would probably work.  However, if I had to recommend one, it would be the Macbook Pro with the retina display.  It has more capabilities for future use and a number of ports that can be useful in the future.  You should also consider a screen 15 "If your daughter will have several documents open at the same time. I hope this helps.

  • MacBook 2015; logo of start-up after connecting.

Tried searching everywhere, but without success.

I stop my Macbook while it was plugged into an external monitor a few days ago. Since then, whenever I try to log in, it accepts my password, shows the photo of profile for a few seconds, then goes to apple boot logo. It remains on the screen until what turned off.

After power turned off, I have to reset the SMC to get it to power back on. The same problem occurs after that.

I'm about to re - install the operating system, but I wanted to check if anyone knows a more simple solution.

    Thanks in advance.

Well, problem solved. Started in recovery and ran a repair and that seems to have done the trick.

  • MacBook Pro retina slider made trails on screen

I tried to take screenshots of this phenomenon, but they do not appear in the screenshots and they also disappear after taking the screenshot. It is difficult to recreate, but it seems sometimes when I start Lightroom CC or change the resolution to "scale", it happens. I could talk to one of the 'genius' and he said it was a known software problem, but I can't find hide or hair of it anywhere on the internet. I'd hate to have to consider and be without it, if it's something as simple as a software problem that I'm able to find me the solution. I have erased HD and did a 'clean' of El Capitan install already, since I don't have much on this machine to restore. No help, it still occurs at random. Thank you advance.
