13-inch MBPr early 2015 - 4k@60hz + a monitor more?

Here's what I have:

MacBook Pro late 2015 16 GB of RAM / 512GB SSD

Sharp PN-K321 4 monitor k

HP 27 inch monitor

My question:

I have the sharp clocked at 3840 x 2160 @ 60 Hz in OSH through Displayport mode.  It doesn't matter if I have the laptop opened or closed, I can't do a second monitor to work.  I tried both HDMI and Displayport connections on monitor HP and a bunch of resolutions including 1920 x 1080 and 2560 x 1440, and as soon as I have the strong run 4 k @60 Hz, I can not get the second monitor to work.

I have spent hours of research cela and have seen posts where people say they have two monitors 4 k clocked at 60 Hz with the exact same MBPro.  Is it possible to run two monitors off the MBPro 13 "or I do something wrong?

Please help... very frustrated!

Thank you

Erik

  • My iPhone 6 guard making his power on and off loading when it is connected with the MacBook Air early 2015

Hi Please help me. My iPhone 6 retains what load noise when connected with my MacBook Air early 2015. It makes me crazy! I tried with several real Apple's USB cables, update to the latest iOS (phone and MacBook), updated the iTunes, clean the orifices, everything! I just got this MacBook on the Apple store. Please help me! Thanks in advance!

    Hi mikaelaridz,

I understand that you just bought a MacBook Air in an Apple store, and when you plug your iPhone 6 in it, you are to hear a sound indicating that the connection does not work.  If your MacBook Air has a port USB - C, you must use the USB - C for Lightning cable to connect your iPhone.

Using the USB - C port and adapters on your MacBook (retina, 12 inch, early 2015) and later

    Port USB - C

USB - C is an industry standard generation that allows to load and transfer of video data - while a simple connector. Your MacBook comes with a USB - C port:

    Through this port, you can:

    • Charge your MacBook.
    • Power output.
    • Transfer data between your MacBook and other devices.
    • Connect the video output such as HDMI, VGA and DisplayPort.
    • Connect to other technologies, such as Ethernet.

Port USB - C on your MacBook supports data transfer speeds to up to 5 Gbps (USB 3.1 Gen 1).

USB - C for Lightning cable

Apple USB-C for Lightning cable allows you to connect any device equipped with a connector of lightning with your MacBook. It provides data transfer and power of lighting fixtures. For example, you can use this cable to connect your MacBook to these devices:

    • iPhone, iPad and iPod touch
    • Magic Mouse 2
    • Magic keyboard
    • The Magic Trackpad 2

You can also load these devices without using your MacBook by connecting to the C - USB to the lightning cable and plug the cable of the USB - C 29W power adapter.

USB - C for Lightning cable supports data transfer at up to 5 Gbps (USB 3.1 Gen 1).

This cable requires no power to operate. However, devices that you plug into it could draw power from your MacBook, you should unplug it when you're not using it.

If this isn't the issue, then I suggest taking your new MacBook Air and iPhone at the Apple Storewhere you bought it.  A genius can inspect your computer for you, there is no hardware problems and staff can help you set up.  Here's how Contact Apple and make an appointment.

    Take care

  • Update hard drive in the MacBook Pro (early 2015)

What type of SSD will work in a MacBook Pro 13 inch screen of early 2015? I was told by someone that Apple no longer use the SATA drives and they now have their own exclusive hard drives and hard drive connectors. Can someone clarify this for me? I want to upgrade a 256 GB to 500 GB drive.

New mac systems use style card SSD instead of 2.5 in block style (search for mSATA and M2 style SSD).  Apple uses a protocol of interface owner so you can not buy any card SSD on shelf.

Another use main contributor a low profile SD card like this http://www.microcenter.com/product/441001/128GB_SDHC_Flash_Memory_Module that can stay connected to the SD slot card all the time and not poke out.  Also external fencing to swap nu-disks for a virtually unlimited storage.

But I got a kernel panic reports 14 and 20 January again. Still, they did not find the problem. They know only that there is no problem when testing equipment.

I have the 128 GB of Macbook Pro retina early 2015 model. I bought my macbook, the year last January 2015. I am just now having problem with my mac. If please guide me on how to start the mac or what do I do next?

    Thank you.

We have no way of knowing exactly what you have tried that doesn't work unless you tell us. A flashing question mark boot means that your Mac is unable to locate a startup disk to boot from.

If you haven't tried... start your Mac holding the key Option. That should launch the boot window manager have been, you can select the startup disk, and then click on restart.

If this does not help, you will need to take the Mac for the service.

  • Should I buy the MacBook Air 13 (Early 2015)?

    Hello everyone.

I currently own a Chromebook, product that I hope, I sell to help me get the MacBook Air 13. The purpose of the switch is the requirement for me to have a computer (with an operating system in its own right) that I can use for computer science stuff. However, I'm worried about the MacBook Air 13 (Early 2015; the 8 GB of RAM, 128 GB SSD model) is how obsolete, and its durability. I not looking for a laptop that will last me a year and performance degradation that are present or any downgrade of the user experience. I expect a computer that will give me at least 3 years of service and still work without any problems (excluding the damage caused to the user, but assume that I am a responsible person).

Any kind of help is appreciated.

    Thanks in advance,

    Carlos

I bought my current computer in 2012: it is a basic model of MacBook Air mid-2012 (4GB / 128GB) now running the current OS 10.11.6 and is now 4 years old and works as if it were new.

  • How can I get multi channel audio via the HDMI port on an early 2015 MacBook Pro?

I try to get the 7.1 audio channels to flow from my MacBook Pro to a cinema set up. The display works fine now I plug the HDMI in however the sound still Mac speakers. I checked the settings and no HDMI output is available. An airtime option is available, but that returns only two channels as a maximum to the receiver. When I go to the configuration of the source on the receiver it receives video at 1080 p 60herts however it is specifically stated No Audio from the Source.

Also, I have connected my iPhone 6 s more using an Apple through the same HDMI cable adapter and it works perfectly. We also use HDMI with our PS4 occasionally and it works perfectly, even with the 3D.

Thus, the MacBook Pro is early 2015 with an i5, the receiver is a Harmon Kardon AVR 2700 (we run 7.1 channels of this) and we are connecting via the HDMI port through a 50 ft HDMI before. The receiver sends the audio to a projector with 1080 p 60 hertz if it changes anything...

Also if it helps the receiver supports dts - hd master audio decoding, Dolby True HD/Digital Plus decoding, HDMI 1.4 (HDMI is compatible 2.0), as well as multi-channel input and PCM and linear PCM.

    I use a "Behringer UCA202' audio device I bought on amazon.com for only $29.

It works very well for the audio 5.1 or 7.2. Works connect optical toslink. Just plug it into a usb port on your Mac and a cable optical toslink to your AV receiver.

My Yahmaha 7.2 audio/video receiver is measuring process the digital signal in THX, DTS, Dolby digital Pro logic, a cinema, etc.
