Before you start to test and add my own storage disks, I wonder if I need to send any return immediately: instead of the GSkill Ripjaw 4 y (@2666 Ghz, 64 GB), the manufacturer in Corsair Vengeance (@2666 Ghz, 64 GB). The problem with that is that the Ripjaws have best timings (bottom) 15-15-15-35 year-old sticks of revenge have 15-17-17-35 timing, so quite a bit higher. The cost of each is the same, so I guess that the manufacturer just thought this is a swap on with another without telling me first.

  This workstation is expensive and carefully put together to get the maximum editing experience. This is for work only, there is no game at all. I make sure that my config is about as good as it gets for the money. If this isn't the case, I'll have to send any back.

  This system will be for correction editing and color only, mainly the contents of AVCHD source. I intend taking in the future as well on customers with 4 K images.

  The problem with the timings is not necessarily latency which is relatively marginal for DDR4 so the difference would not be that much. The problem is that these timings are pointing on Corsair using a manufacturer IE the Dram chip fab constantly posing with compatibility and reliability. Very few outside of the Dram manufacturing know fingerprints that point to what chips are in every dram module. I can tell you that this is likely, but I do not point the finger at manufacturers. What I can say is that we usually never use again them and I would avoid modules dram where the first 3 timings are different as they are on these Corsair sticks IE 15 17 17. If you want the most recommended chips stable ram so make sure they are the same as the Gskill 15 15 15. 15 CL Jedec spec for DDR4-2133 is ideally what you want anyway. JEDEC is the organization that standardizes all aspects of memory. If return you them is up to you, but I wouldn't use the Corsair modules.

  I presume that you laptop uses a shared memory graphics card that supports the memory of 32 MB to 128 MB. The graphics card shares memory with the main memory of the laptop.

  @ Muhannadfa: take advice from mOOni nothing wrong with your laptop. The graphics card takes a main part fo memory and that's why you'll notice a difference of 10 MB

  @ mOOni: It s not 8 MB but 10Mo ;) 1024 1014 = 10 ;)

  I used to be able to play CDs and DVDs on my e drive but the label changed suddenly 'e reader memory stick' and it is ' has no stick of memory missing in the usb port.  How can I get my cd / dvd drive back?  It seems to be missing.

  I really need your help to upgrade my toshiba Satellite 5200 801 (model: PS520E-31P1D-EN), basically it's the version specification factory (technical instructions on the link below)

  What I want is to get faster internal memory, you can buy for this model (currently I have two default 256 mb DDR 266 MHz CL2.5 memory sticks). Will probably do a gig of memory (I could have more, but it depends on the price).
  As well, I want to spend the HD to 160 gig (about), as well as get a faster hard drive then the current 60gig 4200 RPM Hitachi HD (as soon as possible for the specifications of my laptop).

  Anyone know what would be the best option?

  Someone said that it would cost all under 100 (that would be cool), but I don't know anything about the compatibility of different companies etc.
  Can anyone recommend what equipment... .and where * I hope that ebay or studs :)

  S for laptop computer memory can be improved up to 1 GB of RAM. So you can use 2 x 512 MB PC2100 DDR - RAM modules.

  In my opinion, you can use the modules of memory from different manufacturers, but the module must support these specifications: 200-Pin PC2100 (266 MHz) DDR SODIMM
  I suppose you could also use a 400 Mhz because the laptop supports a 400 Mhz FSB too.

  I think that an upgrade of the IDE 160 GB HARD disk is not possible. To my knowledge, the BIOS can support such massive size of the HARD drive. But this is only my personal opinion. If I was you I would try a smaller HDD like 100 GB or 120 GB.

  just for info: won´t you get more than 256 MB of RAM. The only graphics memory is your dedicated, I Don t know what you mean with that shared, in my view, there is no available shared mem.
