  So last night I was watching Netflix and YouTube, and the next thing I knew, that Norton NIS started popping up warnings multiple 'Rootkit blocked', and then YouTube stopped working. It seemed that the Flash drive is malfunctioning. It would show a black box empty when the video is, and I would be with the right button on it, I would say just "will not charged animation" in the context menu.

  After a few minutes of YouTube not working not at all, I got a dialog box install a Flash update, which usually occurs at startup. Made sense, so I clicked on it, but it does not solve anything. Norton skipped a few messages more "blocked Rootkit' identical and then pops up a message that"reboot is required to continue fixing your computer."

  I did backup my most important info, so I'm not completely stupid, but everything as I figured, once I hit the restart, the computer itself in bricks. It won't start Windows. I get an error message, then a screen dialog black BIOS or the POST or what you call asking "start Windows normally" or in "repair" mode Starting loops normally just back to the same error and repair mode dialog asking the boot floppy, which I cannot find at the moment.

  Now, if that were the only problem, it's one thing, but here's the real problem:

  That treat everything with Flash broken on YouTube and then Flash attempts to upgrade and Norton NIS misunderstanding the Flash update for a rootkit... it's going on my second computer now. I'm not going to run a Flash update, and I'm in no hurry to even restart the computer more, until I understand what just happened here.

  If anyone can help me? What could happen?

  Well, thank you for all the answers; There everything went well enough. It seems it was well a virus masquerading as a updated Flash, and I'm inclined to think that it happened because I jumped with months and months of Windows updates.

  I had been using a SSD cloned, so I dropped my old drive hard in and went from there, install all Windows updates and antivirus updates. I used a separate computer to scan the SSD infected on a USB adapter, and it turned a simple virus "trogan.gen". Once it has been cleaned, I ripped all my new files on a separate hard drive and wiped the SSD and then used to clone the hard disk again. Back in business.

  I guess I could have tried to rescue the SSD without having to shoot anything, but it's so much easier to clone the HDD again, given that I had no new paid software.

  After him have updated software for my PC BIOS of G2-244 HP laptop usb mouse doesn't work.  I checked Device Manager and all the USB ports seem to be defective with a "!" triangle icon next to them.  When I ask to check the drivers of these ports, the device manager tells me that the drivers are current and good.  Anyone else had problems with the recent update of the HP BiOS?

  You will need to reinstall the original chipset drivers.

  Go to the Start Menu -> click on all programs ->, click on manage recoveryr (open Recovery Manager).

  From there, under "I need help immediately" you can select "Hardware Driver réinstallation"-> click Next.  When you see the list of available selection drivers "ATi (or AMD) Driver VGA" and click Next.  Once it's done, click on finish, then will restart your computer and you can test your system/USB devices to verify that it is fixed.

  If it does not, meet with your specific model number or PN (product number).

  I am running windows 7 Home premium sp1 on an acer aspire 5250.

  When I went to bed last night, everything was fine, but I went down this morning and my screen was bright until what I moved the mouse and then it went dim. I have connected and had a notification of update windows successfully but I noticed my icon at the bottom of the screen wasn't there (my internet connection icon disappeared too) I tried to restart the notebook and it's the same: bright screen until I moved the mouse and then dim. I went into Control Panel and tried to open it 'power options' and nothing happens. No error message, it responds just as if I had not clicked. I clicked at random on one couple of other options that responded normally it seems to just be food options that do not work. Can anyone help?

  I also found my anti virus has been turned off and would not restart. I've uninstalled and restarted the computer and all problems are gone! Problem solved.

  Fixed. I removed the Remote, reloaded app to my iPhone and then reinstated the info Apple ID and password in the app all connected immediately. The 'Remote' option is not always present under file/devices/Remote, but everything works well at this point.

  If you have not saved the document before the reboot - and Windows always give a lot of warning before restarting automatically - while the file disappeared.  There is no way to recover; System Restore does apply to system files, not data.

  Se, Reader cannot do this. You can do it with a subscription to services pack pdf or the full version of Adobe Acrobat.

  Firefox on Windows is now after display, scaling options that can make the biggest text on screens at high resolution.
  You can adjust the resolution of your screen.
  To change it follow these steps:

  Firefox 40, scheduled to be released next week, will have many patches of compatibility for Windows 10. I hope that will address several issues that you are facing.

  Since you seem to be an "early adopter" type person, you want to try Firefox 40 in his last days of tests?

  If you click view, toolbars, then uncheck the 'Menu Bar', you get the Firefox back button?

  To turn on private browsing, you can click on the Firefox button, then 'start private browsing' or press Control, Shift, and P keys all at the same time on your keyboard.

  Also, make sure that you update with the last 11 Firefox to take advantage of security fixes and stability!
