So far, I have tried several times to update the drivers for the cards and the bios of HP and just leshcat cards, repeaditly. I also took to geek team once, but the most they could do was to get CCC to open. With GTA 5 on I really want the issue to be fixed. Is there anything else I can do? I've scoured the web last year and found no other soloutions for my specific problem. If there's really nothing else I can do myself, where should I consider truly fixed. From what I've read, it seems that many other people had this problem and it never solved. I'm done with this computer and HP, I need answers quickly, or I'll just cut my losses and buy a new laptop from a brand that will sell me fully functional. Let me know if you need more info.

  I understand that you have had problems with switchable graphics on your laptop. I'm happy to help you with this.

  First, you talk to install several drivers for this, but in reality, if you have switchable graphics, you need just the driver on the HP site, which contains the drivers for the AMD and Intel for a switchable configuration.

  Please read the following for more information on how it works.

  HP - Switchable Graphics on laptops laptops configured with Intel and ATI GPU

  This should be the only driver, you must install for switchable graphics features. It will start to download on your download folder by default once you click on the link. You will then need to run to start the installation. However I would recommend uninstall video driver previous first, then by restarting and then installing this driver.

  AMD graphics driver high definition (HD)

  Also, here is the description of the functionality from the download page:

  This package provides the AMD graphics driver high definition (HD) and Catalyst Control Center for models of laptop computers that are running an operating system supported.   A couple of things...

  -If you have an Apple laptop or desktop, with a software update system, so there is no way to 'install iCloud Drive' to this topic as it is already there as a function of iCloud.

  -remove the iCloud (app) drive icon on your iPhone will do nothing.

  -If your data is already in iCloud, so rest assured, it is already safe.

  If I understand correctly, you have a laptop HP Pavilion ZV 5000 which doesn't work but has a 60 GB HDD that has installed Windows XP and Office 2003 is also installed.

  You want to put the laptop hard drive in an old desk.

  You have two problems: hardware and software.

  Hardware issues can probably be solved easily (you would need something like this $10--> http://tinyurl.com/d539pwf kit - but read the comments).

  The problem of software is that you can not take an existing installation of Windows XP and completely change the hardware.  If you try, you will need to do a reinstall of Windows before it will work.

  If you have a generic OEM XP install CD, you may be able to do a repair installation (save applications - for example Office 2003), but the CD must be at a same or later version of XP (Home, Pro) and Service Pack level as the version of XP that is installed.  You must also have the product key that is associated with the OEM install CD (I think that the key to the label on the HP will fail).

  More likely, you will need to do a clean install, which will involve formatting the drive.

  If you have the Office 2003 installation CD, you can retrieve its installation key from the drive of the laptop before installing it in the office.  Probably the best way to do this is to put the laptop in a hard drive enclosure external drive, which attach to a working computer and use of Magical Jelly Bean Keyfinder using his function to "Load hive".

  If the OEM disc for this particular laptop, you should be able to reinstall it as many times as you want as long as you have not changed the main material (the motherboard)

  You can change the hard drives, RAM, etc.

  I presume that you boot from the Vista DVD
