• Can I use time capsule from Apple and an external hard drive that is connected to my Mac at the same time to save?

  I have an external hard drive (1 TB ADATA HV620) and a time capsule of Apple 2009. So far I have used the external drive-DATA to back up regularly on my Mac, but it uses one of my USB slots.   You can use the two devices, but Time Machine... If that's what you use to back up... can back up only to a disc at a time. So if you set up Time Machine to back up on both discs, it will support drive until one first, then the other after the first drive of the backup is complete.

  I just upgraded my iMac to Mac OS Sierra this morning. I have my external hard drive to NTFS using Tuxera NTFS. I updated Tuxera and restarted the machine. However, I don't see the external hard drive mounted on Finder or desktop as usual, but I can see it in disk utility.

  If some of the images were imported from an external hard drive, you must select one of these specific images > click right/control click > select 'go to the folder in the library.

  If it still shows the office, this would mean that you have chosen to copy when importing and images have been copied on the desktop instead of being added via the hard disk external.

  If you use Time Machine, open the system preferences pane, click Options, and remove the external drive from the exclusion list. It is not possible for all formats of volume.

It is correctly connected and the USB Universal IDE or SATA cables are nine (cables to go). The strange thing is that I have an old IDE 80 GB laying around so I plugged it in via USB and it has been detected, and I was able to open it! I'm so confused and running on the hair. I contact WD and HP (MOBO manufacturer) also INSYDE BIOS manufacturer.  No response yet, so I hope that someone here has solutions. I tried to update the driver for the new HARD drive, but windows says that it is up-to-date.

They noticed that my drive was listed as "not initialized" in the screenshot of Acronis. I'm gone Disk Manager, initialized the disc and voila. I can access now.

  I suggest to change the settings in power options and check if this can help, please follow the steps below.

  (a), click on start > in the search box, type in Power Options.

  (b) under scale (recommended), click on change Plan settings.

  (c) then click on change advanced power settings,

  (d) the tab option power click on hard disk, and then click enable disable hard drive after.

  (e) by virtue of disable the hard drive settings, set it as ever.

  (f) click on apply, OK

  (1) not recognized external - usually drivers are not needed, they are integrated in win7

  (2) windows update fails

  You need to solve (2) before watching (1)

  Disconect all external devices, visit your site from PC manufacturers, or the manufacturer of the motherboard if a generic desktop computer and ensure that all drivers have been updated.
