  Ah! Well, then the Boolean value of status would be connected to the State of the thread of the unbundled error, Boolean stop to the stop button and the Boolean value to the right would be the stop for loop itself... so something like this (see image).  This is an excerpt from LabVIEW 2014, so it can not easily fall in your version, but I hope it's clear enough on how you can wire it to the top.

  Hi Nitin,

  Try to use non-regeneration to ensure that the output data is not a mixture of old and new.

  The latency will be proportional to the number of samples that have already been written that still need to be timed.  4431 has a FIFO sample 4095 that cannot be reduced.  In addition, there is a DAQmx buffer in RAM which is configurable by the user, it defaults to the number of samples in your first call to write DAQmx.  That is why the maximum latency will be:

  (4095 + DAQmx_Buffer_Size) / Sample_Rate

  To minimize latency, you need output 1) at a relatively fast pace minimize the effect of the FIFO onboard and 2) limit the amount of data you write per loop iteration (although make large enough so that you have no negative).

  I want to update the node property of DAQmx event to update dynamically the value, but only 1 of the 2 property node can be updated "DAQmx is task Done.vi", the whole could be triged normally.

  The answer is probably more strange than you expect.  It turns out that the two impulses of the synchronization frequency and duty cycle parameters are also privileged.  (I believe that the same kind of asymmetry applies when you set a pulse with high and low time).

  Frequency Gets the privilege in this sense the pulses of timing is changed only when a frequency value is written.  In order to change the operating factor, you need to get a property node DAQmx Channel, expose the properties of duty cycle and frequency and write to both of them.  You don't need to change the * value * you write in the property of frequency, but you * need to write for her.   Given that written node property follow these up and down, it is important to have the property of cyclical report above the frequency property.

It seems to read the properties very well on first run.   Your main VI has not been updated is because you do not clearly the task after every time you call the DAQmx property node.

  Attached is a modified version of your code that works. I just added the Task.vi clear DAQmx in the FindChanProps.vi.

• PXI-5412 - discontinuities and dynamically modify the frequency with niFgen nodes of property

  I'm trying to find a way to eliminate discontinuities and change frequency/amplitude on the fly.  Is there a simple way to do this?

  Basically, my ultimate goal is as so:

  When you start at 1, then move to 100 after 10 seconds.  Then you would go from 100 to 1000 after 5 seconds.  And finally, you would go from 1000 to 5000 in 10 seconds.

  I use the niFgen Util creation frequency sweeping of data VI to create all the necessary frequencies.

  I use nodes of property niFgen to try to achieve.  I use a simple loop to move through a frequency table, and I update the frequency as follows:

  

  I have everything set up and works, the only problem is that I have large discontinuous jumps whenever the frequency gets really changed.  Unfortunately my oscilloscope are boring with the Print Screen function, so im trying to recreate using MS Paint:

  

  Clearly not the best artist ever, but you can get the general idea.  I get these discontinuities in the shape of V that are particularly sensitive to the peak of a wave.

  Looks like you are using the operating mode Standard to do this, correct?  The best way to go about this would be to use the frequency list mode, but the 5412 doesn't have this feature.  I have seen documentation that the use of property with Standard function nodes can definitely cause these kinds of discontinuities.  Another method is to use the arbitrary sequence mode, take a look at the niFgen "Arb Example.vi séquence" in the finder for example LabVIEW as a good reference on how to do this.

  What you can do is to use the node DAQmx Device, property with the property 'Type of product. This will give you the type string, as NI 9211. With this info, you must create a clean table with values of matched string (such as "Thermocouple") and has chosen the right of the table. Unfortunately it is that no property tha will directly give you this information.

As part of the re - install iTunes, I clicked on the button scan for music.  This has created duplicates several of my songs.  I deleted then the duplicate songs from iTunes, but when I went to play a few songs a pop-up said "the song would not be because the original could not be found.  You want to locate? "When I tried to locate the song it is not found, but when I pulled the songs out of the trash they could be found.

  iTunes can create duplicates if the same content is added several times from outside the media folder when it is about to make copies of everything that is added to the library, or is added from an external drive that hosts the press kit that was disconnected during the launch of iTunes.

  Official notice of Apple on the duplicates is here: find and remove duplicates in your iTunes library. This is a manual process and article fails to explain some of the potential pitfalls such as the lost coast and membership of playlist, or sometimes the same file can be represented by multiple entries in the library as well as a removal and recycling the file will break all the others.

  Use MAJ > display > show items to reproduce exactly to display the duplicates because it is normally a selection more useful. You must manually select all but one of each group to remove. Sort the list by Date added can make easier select appropriate tracks, but it works better when executed immediately after the dupes were created.  If you have several entries in iTunes connected to a same file on the disk hard then don't not send to trash.

  I'm building a VI that must update several controls/indicators in several points throughout its execution. It must also be able to accept the new values of the controls at any time.

The current version of my program updates all these controls and indicators using references and property nodes (each indicator/control to be used has its own reference on my VI control, and these references are then sent to nodes of property), which makes it naturally slow.

  The text block must be placed in the container of trigger (not behind it). All elements in the container to trigger will cause a transition between States when the mouse is over the area of the trigger container or the container is associated with the current item in the collection. If you are mixing elements hyperlink and containers of trigger, you must put the hyperlink on the container to trigger, and not on the items in the container of the trigger.

  By default, DAQmx filter properties that are not supported on the devices installed. So if your device does not support the RTD channels, then this is quite normal.

  However, one of your previous discussions spoke the USB-6009 case, so I tried with it. The 6009 supports channel RTD but the property for the 6009 filtering info missing properties of RTD, which is a bug. I dropped the CAR #295521 on this subject.

  The workaround is to set the property filtering node to "Show all attributes": lack of properties in the property DAQmx nodes

  I'm having quite the difficulties of merging the two screws I'm trying to get the thermocouple readings and pressure readings in a VI. I think the two AOs are competing for the resources of the clock. Please forgive my noob-ness. I am very new to LabVIEW and it is not the most intuitive. I have attached the thermocouple VI I try to insert in the VI pressure. I appreciate all help. Two screws were working before the merger.

• Change the graph with nodes of property

  I've been struggling with this problem for a while now. I have a graph of simple waveform I want to set the horizontal scale to and then make a .png to file. The vi is attached. This vi is up to a lot more great vi. Does not work when I run the first level vi of the adjustment of the horizontal scale. The .png file I receive shows the unadjusted graph. However, if I open this vi and then run the first level vi it works - the graph shows the .png file scale properly. Also, if I just run this vi se it works correctly.

  I'm guessing there is a timing issue and the .png file is created before the scaling takes place, but I don't see how.

  Does anyone have any ideas as to why the scale does not if the vi is not open, when it is executed?

  If the front of the VI is not open, the nodes property can do nothing because they run in the UI thread.  This is consistent with the behavior you report with it works when the VI is open.

  Can you try to open the façade but putting off the screen (if the user does not see it) and then set the properties of the graph?

• Some nodes of property subVIs and graphics seem not to complete all actions unless I look at them.

  I have a few subVIs in use which take the server references to graphics and images and add sliders, establish the limits and the pixel values min/max value.  Sometimes a couple of sliders don't prepare you, or one of the limits will be bad, etc.  If I open the Subvi and place probes or preserve values to see what numbers are passed, everything is running and all of the sliders are defined.  I also had this problem outside a Subvi with a property node affecting 16-bit values min and max of pixels. I checked, and the same / correct are passed to all the nodes property, as are the correct references.  The Subvi always run correctly by operating later in the calling VI, only during initialization do they sometimes fail.

  So I tried to unifying the property node, but that has no effect.  It turns out be related to writing data in the chart before you set the sliders and the mini/maxi.  Even if the chart has not been set on autoscale, it seems that it is be re-scheduled somewhat when the data has been written.
