2009 Installer files on C drive

I'm building an application (EXE) using LabVIEW 2009. Subsequently, I create an installer that is successfully done. The question I have is:

In LabVIEW 7.1, I've been able to add an action to install (INI) in the Setup, files in a specified folder, for example, copy the files to C:\Parts\. With LabVIEW 2009, I see that there is no option for this.

If I missed anyone can show me how or point to a solution?

ThanksNAdvance!

You must do two things:

1. ensure that your media files are added to your LabVIEW project

2. you can choose to include these files in your Setup program to specific locations by using the section of the source files for the installer:

Note: 'Windows Volume' will normally be C, but has the advantage of adapting to cases where the boot hard drive is not C odd-ball (I thought it was possible before I came across a request for assistance from one of my clients saying that my application doesn't work)

  • Cannot restore the files from hard drive damaged in disk utility

    Questions

    1. can I save my files/fix this problem without having to restore via disk utility?

    2. What am I doing wrong / I can do to restore correctly on an external hard drive via disk utility?

    Background

Last week when I turned my MacBook Pro 2012 I got stuck on the gray login screen. The progress bar moves very, very slowly and when he finished my laptop spontaneously restarted and repeated the same thing over and over again. Here's what I tried to do so far:

-Start in SafeMode: does not work

-Extended Apple Diagnostics/Apple Hardware Test: test results: no problem found

-Utility (recovery and valorisation of the Internet) disk: disk hard Mac (Apple HDD) and Recovery (partition) HD are not damaged, but the partition disk0s2 is (created after a failure; a year not logged - if it matters) and in 'check' and 'fix' the latter I get inconsistent error messages.

    Disk utility error messages

Most often, I get this error:

The volume disk0s2 was found damaged and must be repaired. Error: This disc needs to be repaired. Click on the ERD.

    Stopped disk utility check "disk0s2."

Disk0s2 volume could not be repaired after 3 attempts.

Error: Disk utility can't repair the disk. Save as many files as possible, reformat the drive and restore your files packed around the top.

I also received this error message once:

Wrong number of extended attributes (it should be 730585 instead of 730589)

Wrong number of access control lists (there are 1364 instead of 1368)

Save the files to external hard drive?

Before that I didn't even used/accessed Time Machine.  I have a new HDD external, formatted for Mac. I created two partitions: backup and Time Machine (so I can start using it once I have find this current issue). When I try to restore disk0s2 external hard disk I get an error restore failed (252 or 254, I think).

When you drive is damaged, it is extremely difficult to make progress.

I recommend the lessee a spare drive in an external enclosure and install MacOS on it again. Then boot from that and you are back in business. You can use the full power of Mac OS AND additional utilities to recover your files.

More 350 000 files on your damaged disc are Mac OS - and those that can be installed in replicas of prefect by a new installation on a new drive. You can't Brute force 'all' copy of a damaged disc. What you want back damaged drive is not Mac OS X files - you want YOUR files. They are stored in the Directory/users in a folder with your short user name. with additional utilities, you can simply copy this directory, or use a recovery as data rescue program to get individual files.

  • Can I uninstall Firefox 4 and reinstall my installation file downloaded previously 3.6.6?

I've upgraded to Firefox 4 Win 7, but a necessary extension is not compatible with version 4 and disabled automatically. I need to go back to the previous version of Firefox until the necessary extension is updated for compatibility with Firefox 4. I find the latest installation file, Firefox Setup 3.6.6.exe on my hard drive. I need to know how best to revert to this version and preserve and transfer all my favorites and settings. Thank you!

Downgrade to Firefox 3.6 first of all uninstall Firefox 4, but do not select the option 'remove my Firefox personal data '. If you select this option, it will delete your bookmarks, passwords and other user data.

Then you can install the latest version of Firefox 3.6 (version 3.6.17) available from http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html - it will automatically use your favorite courses, passwords etc.

I recommend, to avoid possible problems with decommissioning, accessing your profile folder and delete the following files if they exist - extensions.cache, extensions.rdf, extensions.ini, extensions.sqlite and localstore.rdf. Delete these files will force Firefox to rebuild the list of installed extensions, check their compatibility and cancel the toolbar customizations.

In my adapter driver Dispecher Manager Dysplay "Standard VGA Graphic Adapter" has warning icon. It is possible to be there? I can't find a newer driver for it. Hello:

This driver should work.  Install and reboot the PC.

This package provides the AMD graphics driver high definition (HD) and Catalyst Control Center for models of laptop computers that are running an operating system supported. For laptops equipped with switchable graphics modes, this package contains the drivers for the two graphics (GPU). Switchable graphics allow users to switch between a graphical power mode (normally used under the power of the battery) and a mode of graphics performance. If the video output high-definition multimedia interface (HDMI) is supported, this package also installs the HDMI Audio Driver.

  • File recovery HARD drive missing

I downloaded Win8 and installed, thinking that I would be able to run both I expected to install on drive d (Yes). It was late to do anything about it either once it all started, but he wiped the drive C. I decided to return to the factory settings.

    This is what is happening.

After pressing F8, everything is OK up to choose recovery tool.

No "HDD RECOVERY BUTTON_ _TOSHIBA." Is displayed at the bottom.

Recovery disc and this is the message I received.

    "System restore failed.

File recovery HARD drive on the second disc of the first hard drive not found.

There is no valid disk HARD recovery environment on this computer. »

I ran a program of partition and the result is that I have a partition 400meg on the front of the C drive and all files are intact.

    Can you help me?

    Hello

Saved on the HARD drive recovery image can be used if the laptop has only factory settings. After installing Win8 you have changed everything and factory settings have been deleted. If use of F8 are unable to work.

This 400MB you see have nothing to do with the Toshiba recovery image. This small partition is owned by the operating system.

One thing confuses me in the history. It is the use of recovery disks.
You have created recovery discs using the preinstalled Toshiba recovery disc creator?

Generally the recovery disk contains all the important data for the installation of the OS, so I put t understand how you can get this message.

  • 'Lack of installation files' then install LabVIEW 2014 (Win7-64 on a VMWare system)

    Hello

I try to install LabVIEW 2014 on a VMWare Windows 7 - 64-bit environment, with no luck.

3-DVD installation media has been downloaded from NI.com, the release of August 2014 of the Site license academic (ASL), which my company is a regular subscriber, a very long time.

(Interestingly enough, this same virtual system has fonctionnee LV 2012 without any problem whatsoever)

Here are the steps I followed:

    -unzip the 3 iso files on separate directories on drive virtual, principal of this system;

-Run setup.exe on the first directory (IE one that contains 1 DVD files)

-Enter the serial number of the FSA

-l' Installer leaves just selected default English 2014 LabVIEW and the Manager of Package of VI, so I expand the ASL Core Software to add NIDAQmx 2014, and I also selects the device drivers OR - August 2014

-J' I accept different license agreements

-I select "I am not the end user" to postpone activation

Setup continues but almost immediately alerts telling me that it was impossible to install "NI Customer Experience Improvement Program", Yes , I want to keep and then I see a system dialog box display of files/paths that do not actually exist on the directory DVD 1, hence the obvious error 'lack the installation files"message. If I ignore this message, several other similar dialog boxes appear.

Either by the way, I've done various research, but, right now, apparently not a popular question at all.

    Any advice?

    Problem solved.

For some weird reason, WinRAR do NOT extract some files from the first archive .iso (but more importantly, she also didn't show absolutely no error message, leading me to believe everything was fine).

When any further inspection, I found about it and made extraction .iso process everything again and this time to the installation program completed without fault.

  • How can I empty the Windows installation on my hard drive?

How can I empty the Windows installation on my hard drive, please?  I was going to re - install, then I changed my mind.
Now, every time that I reboot, instead of launching Windows XP Pro, it try to run Windows installation.  The installation program appears as a second menu item under "Windows XP Pro" on the black screen at launch.

How can I remove it from the startup screen and flush it out of my system?

    Any correction, automated for this?

    Thank you.

It is difficult to determine what you did, but the symptoms you describe can be eliminated by editing the boot.ini file (you can also make things really difficult if you make a mistake when you edit the boot.ini file, so be careful).  Will not be "flush out the Windows installation" of your system, but it will stop the menu from appearing at startup time.

    See http://support.microsoft.com/kb/289022

Your boot.ini file probably has a second line in the [operating systems] section.  Make sure that you delete only the line that points to the installation routine.

  • the installation files that are necessary to control a 33210 agilent has via USB

    Hello

I'm trying to control agilent 33210 via USB to a produce an arbitrary waveform using labview. The installation files I need? Obviously labview 86, ivi specific driver for 33210a, and? After you install labview 86, the program prompted me to install pack pilot devices, which I did, but he asked for disk 3 that does not exist in the package, I downloaded on ni.com.

BTW, is there a guide on where to go from there? I'm more c/matlab programming and graphic...

    Thank you very much

    Hi User2009,

Once you have installed LabVIEW and NI-VISA, you can do the rest of LabVIEW.

    The simplest process is:

    1. Go to tools' Instrumentation' find instrument Driver and to use the finder driver tool to download and install the appropriate driver (I recommend getting the pilot LabVIEW Plug - and - Play project).
    2. "Once you have installed the driver open the example finder and navigate to hardware input and output" Drivers of instruments ' LabVIEW Plug and Play and find an appropriate example.
    3. Select your device and run the example to make the work of communication course.
    4. Use the example as a starting point and make any changes you need.

I got to have an Agilent 33120 at my office, so I recorded a quick video for you to the process described above.  I use GPIB, but the process must be the same for USB.

  • Xp pro installation gets past the copied installation files and then restarts, rather than continue with install it starts from the beginning again.

new installation of XP pro on a Dell Inspiron mini

Xp pro installation went copied files Setup then restarts, rather than continue with an install it starts from the beginning again, laptop is configured to boot from the hd, but does not do that, I reset bios to default and hd settings has been reformatted, the cd for this laptop drive is usb because it has not built in 1... If I try and I remove the usb cd when reboots after copid setup files it told her there is no operating system...

    any help much appreciated...

    Hi, Leon,

Always include computer make and model, please.  Thank you.

Research in the Bios (reboot and press F1 or F2 depending on your system, check that all usb options are enabled (for example, USB legacy or support for USB 2.0 devices).)

If there is a timeout parameter, set it to Max.

Then, find the boot device priority section

A USB flash drive, which is usually listed as USB - HDD, but may be listed as a removable device, will have a priority very low start.

Rearrange the boot device priority so that the flash drive has a higher priority than the hard drive.

Install Windows XP from USB key

    • Insert the USB key into the USB port on the computer.

    • Open the "I386" folder and find the file "Winnt.exe".

Double-click on the "Winnt.exe" to launch a command prompt BACK to an installation of Windows XP.

Type the path of the location of your "I386" folder in the DOS window. For example, if your USB is the letter "D" in your "My Computer" window, type "d:\i386" without the quotes and press the Enter"" key.

Let the installation program copy the Windows XP installation files on your computer.

Restart your computer to a command prompt. The Windows XP Setup will continue automatically.

Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation. The program will ask you your Windows XP product key in this process.

On my laptop, I had a logon administrator who has been in private. The computer has a blue screen. I ran the XP CD repair disk and that took care of the blue screen, but it would not go as far as allowing me to re-authenicate the license on XP. It froze just straight up. I took chase him and attempted to transfer the files to another drive, and authorities wouldn't allow it. Need either re authenticate the reader to allow access, or find a way to UN-encrypt files and transfer them.

    Hello

    • What is the error you receive on the license?
    • You are able to start Windows after the installation of repair?

If you are able to start, you can check out these methods:

    a.Open workstation

    b. double-click the drive where Windows is installed (usually drive (C :), unless you have more than one drive on your computer).)

If the contents of the drive is hidden, under system management, click Show the contents of this drive.
