2012R2 WindowsServer Seach Index crashes

Hello!

I have a Dell PET620 running Windows Server 2012 R2 Standard. Have been installing the server for about 8 months now and the only question that went unresolved, is that the search Index crashes. When he does this customers cannot use options to search through the network to access the necessary files. The only solution I found is to have someone manually stop and restart the Windows Search service.

I have rebuilt the Index of research several times in different places, and the result is the same. I also used the registry to reset the SetupCompletedSuccessfully key that reset the search Windows completely with no resolution.

Help, please! Thank you very much :D

This issue is beyond the scope of this site (for consumers) and to be sure, you get the best (and fastest) reply, we have to ask either on Technet (for IT Pro) or MSDN (for developers)

  • mdworker crashes constantly; Spotlight re-indexes

I searched the internet and all communities, trying to find a solution to my problem of focus. I have posted in some other forums and re - write here in a way more organized these positions as well as additional information.

I recently moved my administrative user account to a former mac via firewire/lightning connection, using the application of migration. Since that time, my iMac, with the last update of El Capitan, has been continuously indexing. It takes hours (I transferred about 500 GB of files), then works OK for a short time and then starts again indexing. I have my hard drive moved into the party 'private life' Spotlight preferences and back, causing the re-indexing. I deleted the Spotlight index and was re - index by terminals of disc used to check my hard drive, used Onyx to rebuild the permissions and Utility Spotlight re-indexing. Spotlight takes a few hours to re - index, seems to work fine for a short period and then begins the reindex operation and is not available for use once more. It completely slowed down my work to a crawl, since I use Spotlight continues to extract and compare files and folders, as well as launch applications.

I noticed on the newspapers of crash mds_stores crashes and have had the crash mdworker almost everyday. SophosWebintelligence crashed on similar, but not always the same days. I deleted the software anti-viral Sophos, placed my hard drive in the section "Confidentiality" of Spotlight prefs to stop continuous indexing, started in safe mode, rebooted my desktop computer, from my hard drive out of the privacy settings, authorized Spotlight AGAIN index my drive hard for the night and thought that my problem was resolved. It lasted a day. It is now the reindexing and crash newspapers are mds_stores crashed again, but now, looking at the Console during indexing, mdworker hangs mili-second per second mili! Under diagnostic reports from users, it lists mdworker_2016 - 06 - _Dorks (several times) - iMac.crash on and under the diagnostic system reports lists mds_stores_2001 - 06-(plusieurs fois) _Dorks - iMac.crash. I also noticed that in the newspapers:

30/06/16 7:10:46.589 AM mdworker [9839]: warning: the selector Gestalt gestaltSystemVersion returns 10.9.5 instead of 10.11.5. This isn't a bug in Gestalt - it is a documented restriction. The NSProcessInfo operatingSystemVersion property to get the correct version number of system.

    Location of the call:

Not sure that the above is the thing most relevant in the newspapers, but never had any problems on my most recent mac until I made the mistake to migrate my account from my old mac user. Don't know what NSProcessInfo is, but you do a search.

If anyone has any suggestions, they would be very appreciated. If any additional info would be useful, I would be happy to do so. I didn't want to post too much useless here and unnecessarily take too much of your time. I apologize for the changes of fonts, but could not figure out how to copy and paste while keeping the same style.

The first step is to get rid of "Sophos," which could be the cause of the problem and that is certainly worse than useless.

Please remove the 'Sophos' product by following the instructions on this page, so this one, if any. If you have a different version, the procedure may be different.

Back up all data before making any changes. Never install a software "anti-virus" or "anti-malware" again.

  • Crashes indexing service (Windows Service) - prevents other applications to launch

Running Vista Ultimate on a PC HP Media Center with 4 GB of memory, Intel Core 2 processor.

Last week, Outlook 2007 stopped launching without error.  It crashes with the splash screen and the outline of the visible main window.  Adobe Lightroom 2.6 order launch, to provide a "Server busy" dialog box, where none of the buttons seem to do anything.

Looking across several Microsoft and Adobe forums led me to the Windows Search indexing service.  Indexation in the Panel applet open and displays the message 'Attempt to retrieve indexing status' and never changed.

I tried to stop the Windows Search service, but it would not stop - return an error that said that he had not been able to stop the service within the time limit.

Then I tried disabling the service, restart the PC and everything worked as it should, but when I start Outlook it gives me a warning message about the indexing service is disabled.

Restarting the service again once not Outlook and Lightroom launched - once again.

So, how can I get the indexing service to perform again, without harming my ability to run other applications?

    The safest way: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/gp/windows_search
The safe way (probably) - it is possible that one of the search filters is causing the problem. You can use this program for the file extensions list associated with filters that uses Windows Search. You can compare the list of filters with an "almost clean installation of Windows Vista SP2" (check here). You can remove the extensions for non-Microsoft programs.
The dangerous path - try the below at your own risk (tested very limited on Virtual PC, it seems to work, but I can't tell if he does not break anything).
Set the startup type for the service Windows Search on "Disabled" and reboot. After the reboot, open administrator command prompt (right click on command prompt icon and choose 'Run as administrator'). Enter rmdir /S /Q %programdata%\Microsoft\Search in the command prompt window (this removes the folder where, by default, Windows Search stores its files). Once you do this, set the service startup type to "Automatic" Windows search and start the service. Now, he may not start the first time you do it. In this case try again.

  • The computer crashes during Gaming (BSOD) and Windows performance index

    Windows 7, 64-bit

OK, so I've had this problem for weeks. Initially, I thought the graphics card was defective. When I ran the Windows experience index, it would break on the part where he is to note the graphics card. So what I did I sent to the manufacturer and got a new, but the computer STILL crashes. Maybe the motherboard is damaged - I don't know.

Another measure taken was to use the command prompt and the "sfc/scannow". It did not work.

I have almost all the necessary drivers. The only one, I can not install is the Display Driver for the graphics card, for some reason any.
The graphics card is an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 TI and the motherboard is an ASUS P9X79. They are compatible with each other.

OK, so I thought I should touch basis with you guys, because although no one answered for a while.

The problem is certainly a problem of overheating.

I figured out how to fix the problem - all I had to do was increase the GPU fan speed.of. Because of this, I was able to install the GPU driver successfully and play video games. (Use the GPU Tweak to increase the fan speed)

  • Index of InDesign CS3 crash/quit

We have a file that was created using InDesign CS3 on OS X with an index, but it is now crashing: If the text of the index is changed/deleted it crashes and closes. Even tried to remove the index pages real did the same thing. The file does not open at all in CS4 and crashes/closes unexpectedly that as well.

    We tried the following:

-removed the index markers in the document and update overview

-removed manually in the component of the index of references

-remove all other pages other than index and have isolated the issue to something in the content of the index.

There seems to be conflicting policies after checking.

Everyone comes through what we need to use this file as a template for another, but are slightly paralyzed with this issue of the index?

How embarrassing, it seems running CS3 on an Intel Mac, as well as it does on a PowerMac. But oh so much faster.

So, in any case, the easy answer seems to be Pages > move Pages in a new document, excluding your problematic index pages.

The other option to know is ID of Markzware file recovery service.

  • RoboHelp 8 crashes when I click on the index

This was happening in a particular project. I spent two hours on the phone with Adobe Support, but they could not understand. We assumed that the index has been corrupted somehow, so I recreated the project and created a new brand index. It worked fine yesterday, but when I opened the project this morning and you click on the index, RoboHelp crashed again. I tried several times and RoboHelp crashes every time. I tried on two of my systems, Windows Vista and Windows XP. Can someone help me please?

The obvious answer would be it is project-related, but you have created a new project. It was OK for awhile but crashed by clicking on the Index on the reopening.

First of all, please confirm that your project is not on a network drive.

Second, is the project otherwise OK. You can perform any other actions, that is just an indication that plays up.

Have you tried to remove the CPD file and then reopen the project?

I found KB support with PSODs on ESXi forum discussions and I think that it might be in some way related, but workarounds it (evolution NIC to vmxnet etc.) did not help, so I don't know, it is really related.

BTW: If a VMware person reads this, I tried to open a support request, but after completing the form, I had a 'impossible to apply' after clicking on send. It was a little boring...

  • Firefox crashes even when I disable all add ons and plug-ins

    Hey community,.

I love firefox and that's why I want to work again.
lately my firefox crashes and I don't know why. Sometimes, it crashes when I type something in the search bar, and sometimes when I scrall on a page, sometimes, when I want to type a URL.
I disabled all add ons and plugins. but the error appeared again. I also tried to fix it by installing the 64-bit version, but it does not help.
This is the last report of the accident:

    Please, can someone help me?

    Thank you!

    Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link}
    While you are in safe mode;

Type of topic: preferences #advanced< enter > in the address bar.

    Under Advanced, select General.
Find and stop using hardware acceleration.

Search web sites secure. Are there problems?

Safe mode is a troubleshooting mode that turns off temporarily
hardware acceleration, restores some settings and disables
-Add-ons (extensions and themes). If the problem disappears,
that tells us something. If it is not the case, this tells us something else.
