I'm trying to install the driver nvidia on the nvidia site
under ubuntu 6.06 and compilation was very good.Problem, is that the resolution is not start TI 1024 x 768
with 800 x 600 and a black bar on the right side.I hear this same problem under windows.
What I need is the right of xorg settings to get
This damend display work.I hope someone could help even if someone knows
the solution for windows that would be great I
will try to adapt this to linux.Thank you very much.

I put t know a solution to the problem, but I can't believe that these problems appear under Windows. Some drivers for windows supports an extensible option and therefore this bar don t appear.
But generally it s not able to install the original NVIDIA driver on Toshiba laptop under windows. Graphics drivers from the Toshiba page are not the same as the original graphics drivers from Nvidia or ATI page.I don't know about using the driver with Linux m but I found a piece of nice configuration info page:

Laser Jet 2100 PCL with Windows 7 (x 64)
Recently, I pulled out my old XP machine to a new one running 64-bit Windows 7. My old PCL6 Laser Jet 2100 always worked fine on XP but I can't get anything to print on the new machine. When I plugged it in the Win 7 box it installed in a minute or two and said all was ready. When I sent a test page to him, it showed print but nothing happened. The printer displays printer status is ready, but nothing happens.
I use a cable GB adapter cable to the parallel port on the printer to a USB port, same as I did on the XP box. Do I need a newer cable? Is it possible to make my old workhorse 2100 printing in Win 7 box?
Thank you, Rick
I'm sorry, but to get your question more exposure I suggest posting in the trade forums since it is a printer. You can do so at http://h30499.www3.hp.com/hpeb/
I hope this helps.

Cintiq 21UX DTZ-2100 Compatible with end 2011 Macbook Pro?
Everyone successfully connected a Cintiq 21UX to an end 2011 macbook pro? I could make using Windows 7 via bootcamp, however I was unsuccessfully trying to get IOS Lion to recognize the monitor. Am I missing something? I'm using the latest drivers and a DVI - I to mini display port connector.
Thank you!
M rich
As much as I hate to say it, for the sake of someone else who has this problem, I'll answer my own question. I talked to a representative WACOM today and they asked if I'd handed the switch at the rear of the CINTIQ to DVI mode or if it was the VGA mode. Of course, it is VGA. After I hit the switch of the CINTIQ worked perfectly.

Update BIOS on Satellite Pro 2100
Hello
I have a Satellite Pro 2100 (model #: PS210E-0053R-EN) and recently bought two 256 sticks of RAM for it, which according to the manufacturer, are compatible. They do not work, and I have I'll return them, but before the company was asked to take certain measures, i.e. to retest them and also update the Bios. I have never updated a BIOS before and am a little worried about something bad, or choose the wrong update.
No one knows who is right on the section of the site? I know there's a Satellite Pro 2100, but which is compatible with all the models of this laptop?
Thank you.
Hello
Satellite Pro 2100 comes with two different processors (cel or PIV) but the model number is the same (PS210E). This means that you can use the update of the BIOS for both models.
I recommend you do traditional BIOS update using the floppy drive. As described on the page of the Toshiba BIOS update, it is very important that you refer to the Description of the Toshiba BIOS update before you continue.

Satellite Pro 2100 and new hard drive
Hello
I saw on another post that L0nestar has installed a Western Digital WD2500BEVE (250 GB, 5400 RPM) in a Pro 2100.
The question I have is what the interface is SATA or EIDE? The original drive indicates it is a SATA interface, but the WD2500BEVE is an EIDE interface?Hope someone can clear this up for me.
See you soon.
AFAIK all older models of laptops have hard drives with interface EIDE. Satellite Pro 2100 comes with disk HARD Enhanced IDE (ATA-5).
Good bye

I had already used my scanner and it worked very well on a wireless set up. Now, when I went to click scan again, a little box came and said, ' establish a connection with 6200.192.168.9.2 and it just hangs it and does no connection.» I have forcibly close Microsoft fax and scan program manager tasks. I closed my PC printer and modem wireless disconnected and reconnected since and all lit again. My wireless phone and seems to work very well as I can get on the internet, etc., but the attempt at analysis of a new document yeilds the same results as previously with the application tries to establish a connection and just hanging there. I used my HP scan and print doctor and everything is fine with my legacy, with the exception of the low ink level. My drivers are up to date analysis of my HP PC. Help, please. What to do next?
Hi @Zippy-4,.
Thank you for joining the HP Forums!
I understand that you cannot analyze with your HP Photosmart c6280 printer. I'm happy to help you in your analysis!
To confirm that the hardware of the printer is functional, you are able to make a copy with the glass of the scanner of the printer?
For now, try the steps in troubleshooting in this guide, Network Scanner connection is lost (Windows)and let me know what happens!
If it helps, please consider clicking on "accept as a solution." And, please click the thumbs up icon. The two icons are below this post.
I hope that this post helps!

Envelope printing problems with M401dn
When you print the envelopes with a M401dn Pro LaserJet, the return address is not properly merged, and there seems to be some random jobs printed in the buffer zone; the main address is printed correctly and properly merged. I noticed the problem with greeting card envelope, and I've never had problems with before on three printers LaserJet previous (LaserJet II, LaserJet 5 p and LaserJet 2100). With a few #10 envelopes, the return address is properly merged, but I always get the tasks in the buffer zone.
I get the same problem if I fold a piece of paper in half and then pass it in the envelope feeder. If the envelope feeder is empty and the paper feeds from the main Board, the return address is properly merged but I always get the tasks in the buffer zone.
There no problems when you print just the documents.
I seem to get the same results using the PCL 6 or the PCL 6 UPD driver.
Any ideas?
Hmmm... I could have sworn that I updated the paper type "Envelope", but obviously, I did not; with that restored, the problem seems to be fixed. Apparently, the fuser is powerful picky about the thickness of the paper.
Anyway, if someone experiencing similar problems, the paper setting could well be the cause.

LaserJet 2100 direct connect network assistance
Hello techies. I need help please.
I have a HP Laserjet 2100 printer with a Jetdirect 600n (J3110A) card I am using with my plug for laptop Compaq V2615US as a direct connection. It is without a server between the computer and the printer.
Has been fighting for more than a week. Time for me to reach and ask for help.
It is not recognized.
Print a page of Cofiguration Jetdirect info I get the following information:
LAN HW address: 001083F3A247
External Loopback 03 error is NOT READY i/o card
TCP/IP STATUS: 55 CURRENT BOOTP/DHCP
HOST NAME: NPIF3A247
IP address: 0.0.0.0
IPX/SPX STAUUS: impossible to 29 net number of senses
NAME OF THE NŒUD: NPIF3A247
I was able to CLEAR the error of closure by doing a loopback plug.
Using the network printer wizard I tried individually enter either the host name, IP address, LAN HW or name of the node above the address in the appropriate box. NONE of them worked.
Somewhere, I saw a reference to a supposed "default" IP address of the 192.0.0.192. Tried it as an IP address, nothing helps. Received a message on the screen indicating that it was a 'default' address and suggesting that it was not fair.
My computer's network card is a Realtek 8139/810 x Family card that is declared as working correctly by my computer and has already been used in the past in this way with a different printer.
Key questions are:
1 what I'm missing or doing wrong?
2 - is a dead Jetdirect card?
I can access a Jetdirect 620n card, but the application list I've seen doesn't have the list of the 2100 as a printer there.
It would be worth to try myself to a substitution of the 620n for my 600n card?
Thanks in advance for your help.

Without any kind of switch between the printer and the computer, you absolutely have a cable modem Simulator for your connection "ethernet". You will NOT be able to use a standard ethernet cable.Once you find this crossover cable and that you ran a test on the printer print to the default IP address (read the printer or jet direct instructions on the card to print or otherwise find the Jetdirect card settings) then you can create a new "printer port" using the IP address of the card direct jet to join the two. 192.0.0.192 isn't usually an IP address by any device (I've never seen anywhere.) It would more likely be something like 192.168.1.xxx.Also, you should be able to buy a switch 4 ports and do the same thing with standard ethernet cables. Plug the computer and jet direct card printer on the switch. -
Nexus 7000 - integrate FEX - identify ID ASIC
Hi *.
in reference to this the following guide, I would like to identify the Asic-ID, to plan the integration of a FEX 2248PQ to an interexploité in a context of F2e M1-xl-type F2 module.
There is a note in the section "combining of a tissue Expander to a Module of the F2 series.
Each port in the ASIC has an index. Allow only ports with similar indices across ASICs to be added to a port channel.
For example, if port 1 has an index of 1 and port 2 has an index of 2, the following ports are supported and not supported:
- Support: 1 1 ASIC and port 1 of 2 ASIC are added to a port channel.
- Unsupported: Port 1 of 1 ASIC and port 2 2 ASIC to form a port channel.
A set of ports to an ASIC that a set S, such as {1,2,4} Sub index, is authorized to add to a channel of port if the port channel has an equivalent, or an empty set.
So is there a way to get the asic-id, as mentioned above, with a few appropriate show commands?
Please be advised that the FEX are not yet installed.
I need to check beforehand if the wiring is correct.
Some useful answers in the next a few would be very much appreciated.
Thanks in advance
Sven

HP 15 Notebook PC: PC slow
Hello
I bought this computer a year ago. I use it for much. Check my email online (i.e. Gmail) and my iPod was updated (for example, iTunes).
It was slow when I got it, it's still slow. Typing in this forum is slow. My PC is delayed in the visualization of the characters, I type.
It started with Windows 8, and it was so long. Microsoft offered a free upgrade for Windows 10, so I did, it could solve the problem of hope. I did, but it does not solve the problem.
I'm late to display this problem on a forum so far because I was hoping that I would be able to fix myself through Google searches. So far, I've come empty-handed.
I think that it is not that I have too many things on my computer.
I posted the details of my PC below.
If there are other details, I can provide to help solve the problem, please let me know.
Thanks in advance.
Peter

P10:OK, I do not work for HP and I will take the liberty to say that it is. You have published hundreds of lines of specs without meaning, but this is all I need to know:
Processor: AMD E1 - 2100 APU with graphics Radeon (TM) HD (2 CPUs), ~1.0GHz
The processor is dreck, garbage, garbage, garbage. It doesn't have on a computer that is running something newer than Windows 2000. Your cell phone has a faster processor. And it is soldered to the motherboard, so there is no possible upgrade. You can change this and tweak that and it will always be slower than h * l.
Try to sell this thing to someone else or give it to your nephew you don't really like a lot and get a new laptop computer. I hope that you have not paid a lot for it. Next time that ask questions about what you buy and try to understand where the product is located in terms of performance relative to other competing products. Get at least an i3 processor. It is worth the money. Don't be cheap though, you lose your investment.
It is not defective. He performs as expected there just no be it power.
Sorry to be too blunt, but it's the truth.

I brought a G30 two years ago and last year the graphics card broke. It happened just as the warranty ran out so I had to pay £600.00 for repair.
Two weeks ago, that the graphics card has beaten once again, contacting the store, they said that Toshiba had only given 3 months warranty. I contacted Toshiba and they confirmed that they give never 3 months warranty on all repairs.
So now, I have a laptop two year old which cost me £2100 .00approx (with the reapir) that I can't use.
I am really amazed that a company like Toshiba will put a 3 months warranty on a piece which costs £600.00.
Reading some of the comments on this forum it seems as if it was a common fault so my thought is if that's the case why Toshiba didn't call the product?
Needless to say that I am a very displeased customer and I don't have to buy anything done by Toshiba yet and I would not recommend their products to anyone
Hi mate,
that sounds awful and is not very good. In such situations Don t you have many options, I had the same problem and I sold my machine @ ebay because there was no chance for me to spend more money on this laptop.
This holds true with 3 months, I have had the same information and I will say, I live with this fact.
I understand you dude, but Needless to say it s just not worthy it s a solution or wait if someone Vienna help because Don t you have an option in this case. I if were you I sell the machine and check for something else that fullfills your needs a lot more better.
Welcome them
