  You will need to re - connect your printer to your new BT Homehub.  In the HP folder in your programs, run the printer setup and software to restore the link.

  Click on "Config Editor".
  At the top of the search page: print_printer
  Scroll down to print.print_printer.

  Make sure you have the right printer set default on your system.
  Restart Thunderbird.

  If it works with addons disabled and then one of the addons is the cause of conflict.

  C5500 printer is the default printer. I also have an hp c4280 printer that works if I want to print or scan at any time. I checked device drivers and it says they work prperly more, this is the last version of this printer. I used the troubleshooting of microsoft files site and everything out very well, but still does not print. The ink levels are new in the cartridges and the printer paper in the status bar. Internet connection and a connection between the product and the OK computer. I am lost as I bought all printers have been brand HP, and first time I had a problem.  I hope someone can help. • No printer not appearing in devices and printers in Windows 7

  This is quite disconcerting, and after a thorough search, I can't find an answer to work.

  Basically, I installed a printer on my machine here Win7Pro.  The printer can be printed from various applications.  However, the printer does NOT appear under devices and printers.  The printer appears under print management.

  The printer is an Epson color Stylus 2200 connected via USB.  The computer is a Dell D620 Laptop.  Win7 has been properly installed - no upgrade.  The printer is visible (for example) of Corel Paint Shop Pro X 2.

  Anyone has any ideas what setting I need to enable the visibility of printer under devices and printers?  Is there something other wrong here?  It's easily fixable?

  UPDATE: I just added a shared printer (connected to a WinXP machine brother 7040) networking for this laptop Win7 and it isn't too visible under devices and printers.  However, what is different here is that this printer is also not visible under the management of printing.

  Network connections are not in print management.  They should appear in printers and devices IS very disconcerting.  Normally, this will occur if the print spooler service is not running, but then your local machine would be displayed with a red indicator in printing management.

  I guess that you have a standard USB and not a parallel converter cable USB cable.

  Check the security settings for the properties of the printer.  Make sure that your user account is listed at least print access.  Devices and printers opens with the standard user security token.

• Firefox allows the printing of files PROTECTED on my server. WHY?

  All other browsers RESPECT the fact that a PDF is password protected and does NOT allow this file to be printed. Fire Fox violates this rule, and let's users simply of pass protection and print the files. It really SUCKS! He should fix it to conform to current practices. Is this corrected?

  WON'T. I speak NOT of the IMAGE being copied from a screen. This, of course, can be done by anyone. What I'm talking about you, is that FIREFOX, unlike all other browsers, ALLOWS you to print a PROTECTED PDF FILE complete. This should NOT be and this issue should NOT be closed and just brushed side because Mozilla has a MAJOR BUG in their software. Your program should be corrected in order to RESPECT the protection of a file and NOT allow it to be printed in its ENTIRETY.

  NO SATISFACTORY SOLUTION HAS BEEN POSTED. FIRE FOX IS BROKEN AND NEEDS TO BE REPAIRED. PURE AND SIMPLE. DO NOT WHITE WASHING A CONCERN MOST OF YOUR USERS!

  Looks like that since I've updated for firefox 5, I cannot print web pages, won't work not preview before printing. I click on the print under file option and nothing displays or prints.

  Try Firefox SafeMode and see if you can print from Firefox.

  1. You can open the Firefox 4, 5, 6, 7 SafeMode pressing the SHIFT key when you use the desktop Firefox or shortcut in the start menu.
  2. Or use the Help menu option, click restart with the disabled... modules while Firefox is running.

  To exit safe mode of Firefox, simply close Firefox and wait a few seconds before using the shortcut of Firefox (without the Shift key) to open it again.

  If it's good in Firefox SafeMode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, and you need to understand that one.

  The problems are gone now. However, I'll never know exactly what that caused them. When I restarted the computer in safe mode problems continue. But when I tried to restart my computer does not recognize the hard drive in safe mode or in normal mode.

  It is possible that the Firefox problems were caused by a faulty hard drive.

  I was able to rebuild the directory with Disk Warrior and transfer my files, but the disk would not boot. Fortunately, I had a spare hard drive. I installed and reloaded all my software and data from scratch. I also downloaded the latest version of Firefox. Firefox works fine now.

  Windows 10 o/s x 64 laptop Sony Viao. Full AVG anti-virus. The latest version of Firefox won't let me access any search engine, all (even Google) are unreliable. Clicking on a tab secure htpps also gives the same message and don't make an exception.
  I've been a regular user of Firefox, and before that, it was my favorite browser.
