Stock RAM brand.
HP releases desktop with the Rams from different brand. For example, Kingston RAMs brand?
HP do not make or produce RAM. HP Buys lots of RAM of sellers who meet specific standards. I hope that answers your request. See this link and the photos.

Can I use stock RAM since the mid-2012 MBP aluminium end-2008 MB?
This is my first post so I apologize if it is not posted in the right place.
I have a late 2008 aluminium MacBook (2.0 GHz) with 2 GB of RAM and a mid-2012 MacBook Pro (2.5 GHz) with 4 GB of RAM.
I want to upgrade the RAM of these two laptops, but in the most effective way possible. I wanted to buy an upgrade to 8 GB for my Macbook Pro for mid-2012, then use 4 GB of this machine to upgrade my end-2008 aluminium MacBook.
Is it possible to use the RAM from mid-2012 MacBook Pro aluminum end-2008 MacBook? Would be great, if so.
Thank you!
Nope, totally different form.

I just bought the Office of series 850 want phoenix with 16 GB of RAM DIMM DDR3 - 1600 (2x8GB). The problem is I intend to switch to 32 GB of ram, but I don't know which brand to buy to match the stock ram that would usually come standard with the machine. I buy ram online so he comes the same day as my office. Does anyone know what brand hp uses? crucial? Corsair? PNY?
Thanks in advance!
Lews live ProductionsHP uses ram from different manufacturers, depends on which it can provide at any time, it isn't the brand but the specs that matter.
I would call Kingston or Crucial on the phone for help on the selection, as they ensure the compatibility.

Re: Satellite L670D-102 will start not until after 8 GB RAM Installation
I went out today and bought the 2 x 4 GB DDR3 ram bars - 8500 the correct ram for my laptop and now I installed the two ram laptop won't start I checked the ram max that can hold the laptop and it is 8 gb that is why I went out a bought the 2 sticks of 4 GB and I had to for this purpose of the 8 GB of ram in total the laptop will not start when the two 4 GB sticks are installed, but when the ram is installed as supplied with the laptop it starts and it starts as if I have the ram that came with the laptop and also one of the 4 GB sticks.
I'm really nervous as to why it does not work I am 100% sure that ram is good because it starts up with one of them installed aslong as the stock ram is installed, someone knows what the problem please?
What brand did you buy?
On this forum you can find many threads where people describe similar problems using the memory modules. Specification is OK but unfortunately work doesn t mobile.I can only recommend to use tested 100% and 100% compatible modules.
Best modules are certainly Kingston modules and 4 GB of RAM for your laptop model KTT KINGSTON part number - 1066 3/4 G (Toshiba PA3677U-1M4G).Check it out.

I am currently runinng on stock card and do not want to upgrade a lot on that laptop it is mainly for the office. This laptop comes with a 2 GB memory DDR3 (1600 MHZ according to the manufacturer's Web site) and is painfully slow with about 3 to 4 desktop and software data properitary running applications.
I had problems on my other PC where I upgraded the RAM and the frequency shift caused a too much trouble.
Please suggest what RAM (upgrade is the best for this laptop) - preferably a 8 GB / I intend to take this worthless 2GB. Also isn't need to be two-way - but I can give it a glance.
Please help me with choosing the right RAM (brand, frequency and other stuff)
all links appreciated - I'm ordering online in the United States
Thanks in advance

What Ram modules are used in the Satellite Pro L870 18R
HYA
I m new to this forum so apologies if I posted in the wrong place.
I just bought a Sat Pro L870 18R for my wife as a Christmas pressy.
Before she gets to him I was going to increase the Ram of 4 GB to 8 GB.I know he has a single stick of ddr3 1600 Mhz in it, but without opening it you know which manufacturer to use Ram Tosh for this machine?
I like to keep the same manufacturer.
If I can at least give him a chance to run dual channel. I know I couldn't just take part and look like I m going to have to open it to adapt to the new ram anyway.I just i didn t want to keep o he packing and unpacking, and opening and closing upward are a gift after all lol.
Any help appreciated thnk
Above all the RAM brand is very important to get the RAM running in dual channel.
It is important that the two RAM modules will support the same features. As far as I know the unit was equipped with a SO-DIMM 4 GB RAM DDR3 1600 module MHz (PC3-12800). I guess the reference is: * PA3918U-1M4G *.
Welcome them

Upgrade of RAM for my g4 2049tx pavilion
My system configuration is mentioned in this link: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c03548502
I want to improve RAM 4 GB to 8 GB.
I don't know what RAM or its specifications to purchase.
Please suggest me some links to buy some RAM for my laptop.
Go through page 2, 18, 41 to 43 of the present service manual:
http://h10032.www1.HP.com/CTG/manual/c03345638.PDFYou can put an another 4 GB SDRAM SODIMM DDR3 1600 MHz PC3-12800 in another location, the two Rams being identical in size & config would give two-channel boost performance.
If you intend to get HP store, the part number must be specified is 641369-001.
http://PartSurfer.HP.com/search.aspx?SearchText=641369-001
That's what we're looking for, shop online:
http://www.Amazon.com/GP/AW/d/B008L325TW?pc_redir=1407821606&robot_redir=1It will be ideal if you get the same RAM brand than what you currently have, you know that by downloading and running this program-

The upgrade of RAM and warranty questions
Hi all
So, I have a dv6-7031tx, which has 4 GB of Ram. Now I want to remove the 4 GB of Ram on my laptop and replace it with 2 sticks of Ram of 4 GB, will be canceled warranty if I do this? The RAM brand im going for is G.Skill, Patriot or Kingston.
Edited: I talked to HP support last week and apprently they recommend not third party as G.Skill RAM, they recommend only Mircon. I know not even how good are the Micron reputation and they are not well known.
Thank you.
Hello:
You will not void the warranty by installing the memory of any provider.
The only way you will cancel the guarantee is if damage you the memory slot, plastic cover, physically or does not follow the procedures in the service manual to install memory (like removing the battery and the power of a/c before working inside your laptop.
I used the Patriot, G.Skill, Kingston, Crucial, Mushkin in HP laptop computers and desktop PC with a lot of success.
I can also tell you that HP uses no chips Micron exclusively in their PC.
Question... Why do you want to delete a module of memory 4 GB perfect condition except if they put a PC3-1333 chip here and you want to install 2 PC3-12800 (1600 MHz) memory?
Another question? If this is the case, why go to halfway?
I just max the thing out to its capacity of 16 GB and buy 2 x 8 GB PC3-1600 (PC3-12800), memory modules.
The page of the form is incorrect about the maximum of 8 GB.
Please consult the owner's manual at the link below, Chapter 1, page 4.

Aspire 5738g 8 GB RAM upgrade?
Hello everyone, noticed of similar topics that some models of 5738g cannot do this upgrade. I'd appreciate if someone could advise me if I should replace the current with 2 x 4 GB 2x2gb and if there are specific suggestions of the RAM brand. top 10 s/n: LXPEX02093 and attached image. Thank you!
Update: it has a sticker of Windows 7, but I now use it on Win 10 x 64 with no problems (except quick overheating but I guess he just needs a good clean internal). All the drivers have been installed automatically.
Hello
According to the specifications of Acer Aspire 5738 G DDR2 supports up to 4 GB if you already have the maximum amount.

HP dv6 6140tx: Ram compatibility
My laptop have received 2 slots and is expandable up to 16 GB. The laptop came with Ramaxel 4 GB ddr3 1333 mhz ram (rmt3020ec58e9f-1333) in 1 location. Now, I want to add a 4 GB stick in the second slot to improve it to 8 GB. The same ram brand is not available in my country so can I use this RAM: Transcend JM1333KSN '4G '. Its frequency and voltage is the same as ram Ramaxel. Are there any other specs I need to check?
http://www.flipkart.com/transcend-ddr3-4-gb-laptop-dram....
This ram works fine and the system can run on two channels or there will be no compatibility issues?
Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance
Yes, it's as close as you can get. Same speed, density, time of latency. The computer should consider the type of memory and run in dual channel mode.

I'm trying to upgrade the provided RAM 8 GB 4 GB standard memory.
So far, without success.
The system is that a Core processor i5 on an Intel PM55 chipset, (with stock RAM..) is woking very well.
The RAM provided is working regularly at 1066 mhz CL7 4 GB 2x2gb PC3 - 10600 DDR3 - 1333 CL9 S Hynix (should be PC-8500, I understand..).
Due to the limitation of the system to 8 GB, I tried the following configuration:
just to test... [- 2x8GB Corsair DDR3-1333 PC3-10600 CL9 (CMSA8GX3M1A1333C9)
--> Bios installed memory: 6 GB... [BIOS MEM Chek Ok, BSOD and reboot immediately to Win Start (Win logo on screen)]
- 1x8GB Corsair DDR3-1333 PC3-10600 CL9 (CMSA8GX3M1A1333C9)
--> Bios installed memory: 8 GB... BIOS MEM Chek Ok, BSOD and reboot immediately to Win Start (Win logo on screen)
- 1x8GB Corsair DDR3-1600 CL9 PC3-12800 (CMSX16GX3M2B1600C9)
--> Same as above.
- 2 x 4 GB Kingston DDR3 - 1600 CL9 (HX316LS9IBK8/2 -certified on the Web site to work @1066 mhz CL7)
--> Same as above.
- 1x4Go Kingston DDR3-1600 CL9
--> Same as above.
- 1x4Go Kingston DDR3 - 1600 CL9 + 1x2Go Stock RAM--> same as above.
What Miss me? What are the specs of RAM just for this system?
I tried searching for "certified memory", but no ship reseller in my area and specifications provided for my sys are always "4 GB 204 pins SODIMM DDR3 PC3 - 10600 1333 MHz"... which, if correct, should be the same as my Kingston RAM.
Thank you very much in advance for any suggestions you may have
Concerning
Marco
Note. All banks of memory are from or have been tested also on other sys and are perfectly working.
He missed. I'm sorry. Here is the Manual:
DDR3-1066 PC3-8500 is aka what it takes.
8 GB in configuration 2 x 4 GB is the maximum and it means no more than 4 GB so this explains all problems with 8 gig of add-on modules. You need to duplicate the modules that work as well as possible.
DDR3-1600 will simply not enough downclock so do not use it. As laptop computers HP tend to like low density memory and I don't hear in there 8 small blocks of black memory on one side, 4. Hynix memory that works is not low density with 8 blocks on one side?

Hi all
I have a laptop HP Pavilion 15 e024 which has 2 GB of RAM with i core processor 3. I would like to be updated by adding 4 GB of additional RAM to his empty slot 6 GB.
Can someone help me what RAM brand will support it so that I can buy it.
Hello
HP Pavilion 15 e024 isn't a good model/product. It may be the following machine:

It uses 1600 MHz DDR3 RAM

Hello everyone
well if I have hp pavilion dv6 6c19tx there HM65 intel chipset board that ive met only support memory live DDR3 1333 mhz bus and yet my stock ram that came from the hp is 1600 mhz why is - this?
According to CPU - Z, it's a PC3-12800 (800 mhz) Hyundai Electronics
and yet one thing is it OK to pair with a kingston PC3-10700 (667 MHZ), which is a ram 1333 mhz?
or should I just get a single ram 1333 mhz?
Hello
Normally we can install the RAM at a higher speed, but they operate at the lowest speed of the combination. Suppliers (all) can install ANY RAM available, cheapest and work in their factories, so you can see why! For the second question: I would setup the SAME stock RAM, unless I wanted to throw all the and get something less expensive.
Kind regards.

Shares of RAM per virtual machine
If a virtual machine is not in a pool of resources (except the default resource pool root for the cluster), it is assigned 1000 shares of CPU per virtual CPU. How much stock RAM is it affected by GB of VRAM?
"10 shares per megabyte of memory of the configured virtual machine."
