  It is not possible to use just the PrecisionHDMC camera or any device at one end of the telepresence to be used a PC camera.  However, there is a workaround where you could get the video from the camera, but you would have to buy and use third-party devices.  This has been discussed many times here on this thread on the forums: help-codec-camera-webcam.

  I wonder if I can connect in series with two 4 x cameras(CTS-PHD-1080P4XS) for C40, TC5.x.

  Is it possible to not do that by buying cable (CAB-VCDC - 6.5 M =) Garland?

  I checked "precisionhd_1080p - 720p_camera_user_guide.pdf", but there was no description on 4 x cameras for C40.

  (I found some descriptions on PrecisionHDMC 1080p4x here, but they must be 4 x cameras only for C20)

  I guess it's possible because 1080 p 12 x cameras that can in Garland, have same physical interface devices to 4 x 1080 p for C40.

  I just want to wear to your knowledge this old 4 X cmaera has the same port as 12 X camera; However the use of software RJ45 is block 4 x camera so all in Garland 4 x camera will be last camera because only the RJ11 port will work.

  Information provided by Diakite added.

  CTS-PHD1080P12XS2 = is Gen 2 12 x camera that was outside for more specifically port HDSDI issues.

  If you have a specific plan to use the camera on the HDSDI port and that too on the longer cable up to 100 feet distance so go ahead S2 else

  CTS-PHD-1080P12XS = his is the same from the other and will not any question on HDSDI or HDMI ports.

• Several CGI PC gigE cameras

  I have two Aviiva IRLS cameras gigE (4K) that I try to control from a PC via an ethernet card dual port (Intel Pro 1000 PT). The problem is that it is not always possible to see the two cameras in MAX. When I see two cameras, then I'm only able to set up one of them.  When I try to access the 2nd camera then it says «camera already in use» However, only a single camera often appears in MAX under peripheral IMAQdx.

  I have also written a VI snap to capture an image of each camera at the same time. I get a similar error message after the first image is obtained. It seems that LabView is struggling to see the two cameras as separate entities or assign different IP addresses. If anyone has had this problem or if anyone could suggest a solution?

  I use the standard gigE drivers and tried to manually set IP addresses automatically, all to nothing does not.

  Solved by using only one of the ports on the double ethernet card. Now, using an ethernet switch to route the two cameras through a single port. Worked the first time.

• WVC54GCA two cameras record

  I installed 2 cameras. The two picked up and seen on screen. I tried instant registration. Record show both. However when I try to play, it shows two MyCameras on the drop down menu even if I named cameras like 'Before' and 'Back '. I can read it again since the 1st MyCamera and when I try the 2nd MyCamera it says there is no file to play! Sometimes, when I select the 2nd MyCamera it says "Reading S has encountered a problem and needs to close" when I checked the hard drive I see .sef files under the TWO cameras under data. I think that the problem can be solved if the drop-down list displays the names I gave for the cameras and not two MyCamera.

  Any help/suggestions appreciated.

  I solved the problem.

  First of all that I restored to factory default. Advanced Configuration/Administration.
  So to be doubly sure reset the cameras with the reset button on the camera.
  Installed the first camera and gave a name.

  (During the 1st attempt, I installed two devices one after the other and later changed the names.) I don't know if this is important)

  Instant recording was done, BUT in reading, it was just a single camera called MyCamera!
  Has been able to reproduce the recording.

  Installed the 2nd camera as above and makes an instant recording.
  This time, the drop box showed two cameras. MyCamera AND the name of the 2nd camera!
  The camera clicked and I could play the two records!

• 2nd WVC54GCA works very well on the LAN, but I don't see it on the internet

  I recently bought a 2nd camera, so I can remotely monitor the 2 places home. The first camera that I put in place with the other default values that address static ip, I gave him, shipped port port 80 and when I type in my dynamic dns name like "http://myname.dyndns.org:80" it works very well, in fact I have same need to type the port number and it works. The dynamic dns used to take me direct to my configuration of routers (WRT54GL) but now I just type in: 8080 to the end to get to the configuration of the router to the internet. In any case, it works well and I can take pictures, live video monitor, movement detected email snaps etc. without any problem.

  Then I bought a 2nd WVC54GCA and together to the top of the same thing, he has assigned a static IP address and on the options page I activated the replacement web access port and left port 1024, port forwarded in the router with the new ip address and the port etc.  I can access the camera very well via a browser on my local network using the ip address: 1024 or the 'myname.dyndns.org:1024', but I can't access the cam 2nd via the net now. I am confused at this point, I didn't know that a second dynamic dns would be necessary since the device is configured to use a different port, and when I try using the ip address: 1024 it makes no difference anyway.

  Am I missing something here?

  What I thought was the problem wasn't, I had my port of port of port forwarding on the same number, and when you set the parameter port internal address port forwarding port, which is 80 in the case of the linksys cam.

  Once again that I realized that however, 1024 still wouldn't work, so I changed it to 8081 since my routers gui port is 8080, and I had to change the port setting to 81 in port forwarding and add: 81 to my dns address for it to work.

  Linksys should be ignored during the first 80 or some thing, or perhaps 80 is the default, because before when I wanted to join my router gui all outdoor I had was my dnyamic dns name without the: 8080, and when I added a cam to the network it would go directly to the cam, unless I specifically set : 8080 to the end.

  In any case, I have now the two cams work and accessible. For what it's worth, if there are people from linksys playback of this member of the Board they are terrible docco to explain things, the monitoring software is buggy as all get out and if I struggled as a computer scientist looks at work then the average schmoe stands little or no chance...

  A single user license for activating facilities on both machines. A license of elements allows for each platform in many cases (recently not the case from what I've seen).  If you have the disc, see if it contains the Mac installation files... If not then you should be able to install them via download as well.  I can't answer with any certainty to the last question because it depends on the previous question.  Personally, I wouldn't let an inexpensive piece of software not dictate a decision to purchase expensive equipment.

  Yes, Vista/W7 drivers will work.

  You need the AMT driver.

  The problem is HP lacks a lot of drivers on the support page.  I reported the problem over 2 weeks ago.

  So, I got the driver, you need my Vista Business 6910p recovery disk, zipped it upwards and attached it below.

  Download and uncompress the file in its folder.  Don't do anything with the files in the folder.

  Go to Device Manager and click on the devices one by one at a time.  Click the driver tab.  Click on set to update driver.

  Select her browse my computer for driver software option and find the driver folder that you unzipped and the driver should install.

  Then repeat the process with the 2nd camera.

  Restart thereafter.

  Anyone having problems with the wifi toggle? I can't turn WiFi sometimes. Go directly to the WiFi system doesn't switch on. When I press the toggle, WiFi will try to start but will switch immediately itself turned off. Basically, I can't turn WiFi on the same scan for available networks. I disabled AT & T smart WiFi app, deleted the cache partition and performed a factory reset data... did not help. I have a phone that is 'certified like new' replacement, and 2nd camera did the same thing. Toggle WiFi turns on if I left the phone on some days. I have to tap several times, sometimes more than 20 times, before the WiFi will switch on. The only solution I found is to restart. But it gets really annoying to have to turn the phone market whenever I want to use WiFi. Is there one alternative other than the phone turned off/on every day? I don't have to put out every day so that this phone works properly.

  My phone did the same thing with 4.1.1 I swap AT & T on my phone twice to the same problem. I figure out what caused this good... It does only when the last network, on that I was was 5 GHz. Does not seem to do it when the last connected network has 2.4 ghz

• Internet Mobile Hotspot does not

  I'm trying to share my connection 3 g for my other devices. My internet works on my laptop. I have activated the access connectoins mobile access point, I plugged a 2nd device and the unit is correctly appearing as a connected device. But when I try to load a Web page on my 2nd camera, it times out. I tried also with other devices (ipad, android phone), but nothing helped.

  Is there something that I forget?

• Reference Dell place 11 Pro shipping disappointment

  I am writing this primarily to express my frustrations and I hope that someone at Dell will take notice because I think to complain to someone on the phone at Dell will fall on the deaf ears and will be a waste of time.  It seems that we, the consumers are at the mercy of Dell and for me, this is unacceptable.

  A bit of history.  I ordered a Dell coming Pro 11 the day where he was available to order (11/8).  I had a few changes, I had to make to the order, remove their extended maintenance guarantee and remove the stylus and the keyboard - no change in reality have been made to the tablet itself.  This has been done on 11/11.  I never received a confirmation email from Dell telling me when should I expect my 'New' order, but I have received an order number of the person that I spoke, which was the only way I could follow the command.  The 'new' had a date of expected delivery of 12 to 18.  It seemed reasonable to me and I was happy to wait and excited.

  In the meantime, I started to order accessories - screen protector and a 64 GB MicroSD in preparation for the arrival of my tablet.  18 I still had not received my being shipped order notifications and Dell sent an email about why, or when I would expect it.  I had received SEVERAL phone calls indicating that the order was in production and should be here 12/18.  I think that on the 18th or 19th I checked the Dell order support site to see that the issue had been delayed until 02/01/2014.  I was shocked... and spoke to the person who asked me the prescription being in production about why it had not been shipped.

  The 2nd came and went, and still, only, I received a phone call from the rep of Dell indicating the order had been pushed back to 9, then on the 9th, declaring that it had been postponed until the 16th.  This morning I checked the Dell support site to be notified that the scheduled delivery date is 01 23, 2014.

  I canceled the order this morning because I don't think I, or someone else should wait indefinitely for their order to arrive once his promised summer unnecessarily.  The "estimated delivery date" is a joke and does not reflect exactly any time in which the order could actually ship.

  Looking on the Dell website, you can order a Tablet Dell place 11 Pro with the 16/01/2014 estimated shipping date all the way until 06/02/2014 depending on the type of Tablet that you choose.  I know I'm not the only one who had this problem and I hope that more people shut up someone at Dell reviews and change the way they do business.

  I work in the COMPUTER industry and I am highly disappointed by Dell.  For now I'll only order Dell hardware for the company I work for. However, we will have to reassess these orders as well.
