3.1 defective wireless desktop receiver

I bought a Microsoft Laser Deskset 6000v2 28/11/08 at Staples.com. (the set was made in March 2008). The receiver has stop working - no lights or recognition when it is plugged. I tried the receiver of my other computer and the mouse and keyboard function very well. All died during the use of the defective receiver.  Given that it is a 3-year warranty, how can I get this replaced receiver?

Unfortunately, no. You can buy a separate wireless mouse which will come with its own receptor (and therefore take a second USB port).

  • Wireless Laser Mouse 6000 v2.0 does not connect to the Wireless Desktop 3 receiver. 0a

    Hello

I'm having a problem, try to use a Wireless Laser Mouse 6000 v2.0 with a wireless desktop receiver 3. 0a. My previous mouse, wireless laser Mouse 5000 connects fine but the left click button is inadmissible about half the time so I bought the Wireless Laser Mouse 6000 v2.0 to replace. Laser mouse 6000 v2.0 works fine on my laptop with the usb receiver that comes with it, but I would like to use this mouse if you use my office receiving office 3. 0a that connects my microsoft comfort keyboard 1027 and all other previous microsoft mouse that I have owned. I downloaded and installed the latest drivers point software and smart and still it does not detect or connect the mouse 6000 v2.0.

I tried to use the usb receiver supplied with this mouse on my desk but he won't my keyboard (comfort 1027), but the mouse works fine when using the usb receiver. Any suggestions to get this mouse works with my receiver older are greatly appreciated! Thank you

    Hi Mburton8899,

It must have the same version of the receiver in order to work properly. Unless the mouse is bluetooth, it can only pair with the USB dongle, with which he came.

    Hope this information is useful.

  • Why the excess USB traffic created by some models of the Microsoft Wireless Optical Desktop Receiver?

As part of my work as a volunteer for a repairman to point not lucrative to registered of Microsoft, I test a selection of mouse and wireless keyboards that are given.  Based on the production of a software tool for USB port monitor, I noticed recently that some models of the Microsoft Wireless Desktop Receiver generate constant even when the keyboard and mouse are slowed traffic USB (about 10 transactions per second) or are completely absent.  This occurs with the 2.1 receiver Microsoft Wireless Optical Desktop (model 1028) and the Microsoft Wireless Desktop receiver 3.1 (also labeled model 1028).  It does not occur with the Microsoft Wireless Optical Desktop Receiver 1. 0a, nor have I watched Microsoft controls only receivers or receivers of Logitech mouse...

This makes me curious.  What do these receptors with all this chatter?  I assume deliberately, because I see the same thing in all the units I checked.  If I was pretty savvy to decode the trace of the USB, I might be able to figure it out by myself, but I'm not.  I hope that there is someone on this forum who remembers how these old 27 Mhz receivers are designed and who can make me jump the learning curve by giving me an explanation of a layman to what happens here.

    the keyboard works fine.

I tried the sollutions below but no change/fix was filed:

-My phone is too far, and with telephones connected by usb on the front panel cable, it should not be confliting with it also.

Help, please. I don't know what to do.

    Hello

Clean the mouse? Check the place where blue light emits. Also make sure that the battery

  • Upgrade to El Capitan: MS Wireless Desktop Elite no longer works correctly.

I installed my rMBP to El Capitan. I have a keyboard/mouse MS Wireless Desktop Elite that I like to use and use for years, and this upgrade broke the driver software such as

    • It allows me to no longer share Win/Alt keys (so that the key used as Cmd is in the usual position of the Cmd key)
    • My shortcuts are gone
    • side buttons of my mouse no longer act like 'Before' and 'Back', or seem to do anything at all

What should I do to get this feature?

It seems that MS only provides drivers for 10.4 to 10.7

You can try this, but I have no idea where it'll get you

  • Cannot pair Bluetooth with wireless GPS receiver

    Hello

I just bought the software Garmin Mobile PC with a wireless GPS receiver. My computer which is the another OS XP manufacturer, who has the Toshiba Bluetooth Stack in it.

The Bluetooth Manager is the Garmin GPS receiver, but not pair the two together. When I open the software so that it can find the GPS receiver, happening in Bluetooth Scan mode and just glue here until it times out with error message: "TOSBtMng.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvience. Garmin technology and I was on my laptop and downloaded manufacturer site the patch/update, is always the same.

Can someone help with this problem?
I hope I gave enough information!

I guess you have the original available your PC bluetooth stack. So I would try the following:
-Install the last battery Bluetooth bluetooth Toshiba website:
    http://APS2.toshiba-tro.de/Bluetooth/
-Configure your GPS device by using the "Custom" of the "Bluetooth settings" Mode
-Remove the battery Bluetooth, but answering the question if the configurations of the device must be removed as well with 'no '.
-Now install the battery Bluetooth that came with your PC again.

  • Microsoft wireless desktop 2000 USB transceiver works do not.

I have Microsoft Wireless Desktop 2000 for a while now, about 2 months.

Its under warranty. Now, all of a sudden, the radio stopped working.

I know because if I apply a slight pressure on the transceiver downwards, he begins to respond and when I take off the pressure, it stops responding.

P.S. I also tried all the troubleshooting methods.

I tried service and technical support centres. They say that Microsoft does not provide two-way radios separately and I buy the complete kit again.

Now I can't do it because he is a few months old and I've spent a small fortune buying the kit.

I hope someone at Microsoft to help me.

    Thank you!
