  I had the same problem after upgrade to windows 7, but the solution is pretty easy: just install the latest Toshiba Value added Package and Support Utility for Windows 7 Flash cards. If it s is not no for Windows 7 on X 300, just search by Satellite L500 and download them it worked for me! :)

  You need to download card reader driver. You can find it on the Toshiba site too. :)
