3390 HP no longer works on home network

I have little 'network' at home.  After a brief break as my 3390 is so more pick up my printing on 2 computers, it is networked with.

Two different printers are still working.  Even the 3390 continues to work as a copier, it is powered and is not "broken".  I'll order a new CD think can I need to reload the software (I lost the CD).  I am running XP.  Any ideas on where to start?  All connections are still together, but the messages tell me that I'm not hooked.

Thank you

Moheckie

You print to a network printer report

1. press the menu button

2 right arrow until that reports

3. press the menu button

4 right until that network's report appears

5. press the menu button

report should print then compares the ip address on the sheet to that found on the printer properties ports tab you found in printers and faxes in a few printers in vista or xp

If they are not the same that you have to change one side or the other printer is easier to change.

We will set an IP address of the printer:

-Print a the front of the printer Network Setup Page. Note the IP address of the printer.
-Enter the IP address in a browser to reveal the internal settings of the printer.
-Choose the network tab, then wireless along the left side, then on the IPv4 tab.
-On this screen, you want to set a manual IP address. You must assign an IP address outside the range that the router sets automatically (called the DHCP range). Yours is 192.168.1.100 a.149.  We will use 192.168.1.200 for your printer.
-Apply the subnet 255.255.255.0 (unless you know it's different, if so, use it)
-Enter the IP of your router (on the Page of the Network Config) for the bridge and the first DNS. Let the second white.

  • XP Pro network suddenly no longer works

I have a home network with XP Pro and Vista Home.  It worked perfectly Friday and today (Tuesday) it won't let me access the XP machine.  I get the message "Windows cannot access (computer\dir)" the Details section: error code: 0 x 80070005 access denied.

I have not changed anything on each machine.  There are several users and the PC have some user accounts and passwords to different levels of access to different folders.  I am set up as an administrator with full rights to everything on the PC.  Both machines have all their updates installed including SP3 on the XP machine.  The two systems are configured with static IP addresses.

The XP machine has no problem accessing the Vista machine.  I was able to run a backup of the Vista PC to the files on the XP machine, but I have one authentication information in the backup program.  Unfortunately, it is not possible to define credentials for windows logon in Vista Home.  I have tried everything I can think about the past 5 hours including cutting the XP firewall and change the folder of shared access to everyone.  Help!  Anything with that anyone can come would be very appreciated.  I thought that maybe I could get XP to request a user name and password but I can't seem to find anything on that is.  Thanks in advance.

The following looks like a long history (it's only 600 words). I know not what is knowledge of the user, and exactly what has been done already. The info go through the motions of the configuration and verify most of the common aspects of the LAN Windows OS features '.

All aspects should be checked, declaring that she "worked before" or incessant on"I didn't something ", is not a way to deal with current sharing problems.

Point to a folder that wants to share do right click and choose Properties.

    In the properties

  • Why Firefox Sync does not work on my home network, but at work?

Firefox Sync on my laptop does not work when my laptop is connected to my home network, but for example if I'm at my desk.

The internet connection in my house is fine, I can surf the web with this same Firefox on IPv4 and IPv6, DNS etc. also works. Connection to accounts.firefox.com works also, as Firefox for the sync account. Only the synchronization process runs aground. On my desktop at home, I have exactly the same problems. When I open https://sync-209-us-west-2.sync.services.mozilla.com/ in a browser tab, I see a confirmation message that synchronization runs on this server, so apparently the network path between my computer and this server is free.

After investigation with Wireshark, I see the TLS negotiation successfully, then packages the client was able to respond and after some time, the server closes the connection (encrypted alert). Apparently, no content is transferred between the client and the server. I have attached a screenshot of how Wireshark sees the conversation between the server and the client (sending pictures here did not work so I put on the web: http://ibin.co/1zXABHKdj5mA).

To exclude a possible configuration problem or bad module, I created a clean Firefox profile and logged into my account in Firefox, but this shows exactly the same problems.

Fun fact: Firefox on my Android phone will sync on my home network.

Below, I will link two logs, a successful synchronization (corporate network) and a synchronization failed (home network):
    Sync @ Office: http://pastebin.com/rZmfrbdL
    Sync @ home: http://pastebin.com/a3KUCevJ

The problem seems to be with your ISP - you can refer to https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1118958 and they may be able to find a workaround by changing your diet or to help you configure a different MTU for the network.

    I hope this helps.

  • HP Deskjet 3830: Printer connected by wireless worked well until someone joined the home network - looking for password now!

I created my HP Deskjet 3830 yesterday and it worked on wireless connection. At no time was I asked a network security key.

A colleague joined today to the home network (yesterday I was myself), and requested a key security network - to my surprise I was so.

I put my wireless network password, and he says that it is evil. I used HP Print and Scan doctor to confirm the password (I guess that's the same thing as a "security key" - it was OK, but I keep being told it's wrong.)

It is porrible that it is because my setup yesterday wasn't network but without straight wire? Or want to say I'm wrong?

Other: since yesterday I have not changed anything or even restarted.

Reset the printer to the default network. Now plug it back to your routers SSID with password. Try now. If Direct wireless is enabled in the printer, turn it off.

  • Moved from home office computer. Try to connect to the home network. Working Group changed now it won't let me connect you to Windows. It is the search for field. What can I do now?

My TI guy told me to do the following...

go to my computer, and then click Properties. Then go in the name of the computer from a network to a working group. I entered the name of my working group. Then it tells me to restart so I did.

Now when I try to get into windows that connect, when I enter the username and password he tells me to check and make sure that they are correct and check the field. It does give me an option to choose a domain.

It's husband's computer and I need to run quickly. Any help would be appreciated.

BTW - Windows XP Professional is installed on the PC.

    Not good.

When you remove a computer from a domain, and put in a workgroup, you must ensure that you have a local user account with administrative privileges created on the machine before removing the domain.  Maybe the built-in Administrator account will work, but in most domain environments, the default password [White] is replaced by a different password.  Microsoft has an article that deals with this:

"You can not connect after you remove the computer from the domain.

Your technician COMPUTER should have known this would be a problem.  If you are a novice user and you can not access the built-in Administrator account, then your best bet to get must return to the domain and have your guys IT re - join to the domain.  Make sure you have a local user with administrative privileges created before withdrawing again to the field.

Note that you normally will not have to remove a computer from a domain to make it work in a home-networking environment (working group).  You should be able to connect using the credentials cached [field] and your home network must always be visible to you.

  • Home network not working not not because of 'ComputerName' not in the list of shared folders.

My simple home network of 2 PCs with XP, SP3 and a Netgear WNDR3700 router was working fine. I changed ISP and now cannot get the home network to the top. Run the home networking on every PC wizard implements the internal IP of 192.168.1.1 for the router and 192.168.1.2 and 192.168.1.3 for 2 PCs. Shared folders and files appear to be configured correctly and successfully, I can ping the router and the other PC from each PC. After the Microsoft troubleshooting procedure, everything is good until I get to the stage where the "ComputerName" must appear in the list of shared folders in computer management, System Tools, shared folders, shares. All other devices and shared folders appear correctly on each PC. It is about the last step in troubleshooting, but I can't in front of her. What can I do? Or is the wrong thing? I'm almost to the point of thinking there is something in the registry (added with my ISP change process) that stop working. Help!

In general, it is due to a firewall, in which case advice Jack will help.  In addition, there are a condition [rare] where the Type of a computer node becomes defined 'Counterparts' or 'P Pei' that will stop the communications between computers.  Bring up a command prompt (start-> Run-> "cmd") and enter the command:
    ipconfig/all

  • Home network works great, remote desktop will not connect.

I have a Windows 7 laptop and a Vista laptop. They are connected to a secure wireless network. Both work very well as standalones. When I try to connect via Remote Desktop or connect with each other. My 7 is in a homegroup with a single name. My Vista is in a WORKING group with the same name. I can't connect either using remote desktop. Computer for both names are names of a single word, 'XXXXXX', not the format xxx.xxxxx.xxxx and I can't figure another way to their name. I spent 2 days serching various tech forums and tried what they suggested.

    Hello

Homegroup is a unique feature of Win 7. It uses IPv6.

As you connect to Vista you must configure Windows 7 to the home network.

    ------------------------------------

Network Win 7 with another version of Windows as a work network (works very well if all computers are Win 7 also).

In the center of the network, by clicking on the type of network opens the window to the right.

Choose your network type. Note the check box at the bottom and check/uncheck depending on your needs.

I agree with the user above. I think the keyboard needs to be replaced if certain keys n t work. The fact is that individual keys can t be bought, you can only buy the whole keyboard but it isn't so expensive.

You can get a new keyboard to an authorized service provider. On the Toshiba page you can find a list where you can find an ASP.
