• I can not connect computer vista laptop to my network home, but I can connect to other networks. Other computers can connect to my home network very well. This can be corrected?

  My laptop runs Vista and I've not had problems connecting to my home network wireless until a week ago or not.  Then, trying to connect, I see other available networks, but not my own.  When I try to connect manually, it says that the network already exists.  Other computers, macbooks, are able to connect to my home network without problem.  I am able to connect to a network on my laptop fine unsecured wireless.

  I could 'solve' the problem or get reconnected with a restoration of the system to an earlier date, but it only lasts a day or two.  I searched for another fix and tried many things, including to reset the router, remove my network, and then reinstall, etc, but can't seem to get this to work as if it were - automatic connection as the first network.

  Any help would be appreciated.  Thank you.

  You want to use F11 to access the option to restore it if your hidden partition has been deleted. Otherwise if the hidden partition is gone, you can buy the restore disc to restore your system to factory-installed.

• Messages arrive, but the "Inbox" or any other folder open even if the content still there (and almost all the menu items do not work)!

  Using last Thunderbird on Windows 7. Had problems with the operating system and had to use a system restore. When I opened TB, it displays the folders in the left pane, but the credits of "Thunderbird Mail-...» "and the 3 topics: E-mail; Accounts; and advanced features. None of the files would open.   System Restore is not always a very good thing for applications.

  Reinstall is unlikely to help. But if your accounts are all imap and that you do not have a lot of other data (address book, for example) in Thunderbird, you could start from scratch.

  But before that, you should try Thunderbird started in SafeMode https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/safe-mode-thunderbird

• Can I reinstall Win7 recovery disks without all the other stuff that goes with it?

  It's time to clean this HPE-510 PC.  It's a slow and clumsy mess.  I have a set of five CDs in a stimulus package that I bought from HP.  (Why so much?)  If someone has purchased a copy of Windows 7 in a store they would get more than one disc?

  What I really want to know.

  After I reformat or wipe the HD can I install just Windows 7 and maybe Office Starter and nothing else?  I don't want unnecessary stuff that came with the PC.  Is there something in addition to Windows and Office, I really need?

  Five 5 DVD CD? Why so much of? Well, they all contain the installation program (including drivers) for you to grab the device to the factory settings.

  If someoe bought a Windows 7 DVD in the store, they will receive ONLY 1 disc and it is the Windows 7 installation disc that contains packed (or compressed in one direction) files for Windows 7 only, no real drivers.

  After installing Windows 7, you need all the drivers for your machine then Office Starter (if you could find it now). You also need something to protect your computer as a software virus or Windows Security Essentials.

• Browsers (Firefox, IE, Chrome) work, but all the other programs to connect to internet

  A few days ago I noticed that I can't browse the internet more. I tried firefox, IE and chrome, and they all could not load a Web page as if I had no internet access. I tried my adapter wireless and wired LAN to connect with the same results.

  However, AIM, Skype, steam, zune, etc. can all connect to the internet, either wired or wireless.

  I do remember not all changes of importance specific to my computer. I have to update windows and my nvidia drivers a few days ago, but the internet worked normally thereafter until my current problem as described above.

  I have a windows 7 (64 bit) with avast antivirus, zonealarm firewall. I don't remember the last changes made to one of these programs that cause this block. Previously, everything worked very well. All other computers that connect to the same access point do not have this problem.

  I'm always sure of fairy.  It could be a different configuration, but more than likely it is that your machine is not configured for web access via VPN.  I'd be willing to bet that your VPN administrator must add your IP address (or, more likely, your address NIC M.A.C.) to list authorized on the network.

  What is your host and guest operating system? Are WHAT NIC configured correctly (IP, DNS, gateway, etc.).

  Are all necessary ports (firewall, antyvir)?
