  Probably nothing, it's probably a fluke. Try resetting the SMC and the PRAM by iMac Intel SCM and reset the PRAM. If this does not work, try a USB keyboard to test, if it works then your original keyboard has failed and must be replaced.

• The F9 and F10 keys no longer work

  Today, I realized that the F9 and F10 keys did not work unless you press FN at the same time. If it's not a huge deal, it is a nuisance minor and if there is a simple difficulty then please tell me!

  You can change the option for function keys mode and use the F keys with or without the FN key.

  Looks like a malfunction of the keyboard.
  You can use the external USB keyboard properly?
  If you haven't noticed the same problems with the external keyboard, then I would recommend replacement of the internal keyboard.

  I managed to hide the toolbars, ALL of them. [Alt] brings to the top of the toolbar so that I can change them. In addition, the [previous page] [next page], [home] and [end] keys do not work.

  You can have:

  1. Choose the Mode "full screen" or
  2. unchecked toolbars

  The F11 key activates / turns off Mode full screen or not. Full screen, you have no toolbars, no tab and no bar Add on (bottom).

• The keys Home and end no longer work when I enlarge the program window

  As I'm editing, I often use the 'home' and 'end' keys on my keyboard extended to the beginning of the sequence, that I'm editing, or to jump to the end (I use the "home" button more often, but I always use 'end' from time to time).

  This behavior works as I expect when I have the window of editing 'active' (by clicking on it). The behavior works even when the program window is active, which is very useful. (And because the source window has a different content, I'm not surprised that it interprets the keys start and end for this image, which is also useful also.)

  The problem for me arises when I want to watch my full screen in the sequence and use the key to accent grave ('), alias the tilda (~), in order to maximize the window of my program. Now my image fills the screen and I can watch my sequence down to maximum resolution. But when I get to the end and want to come back at the beginning, the 'home' key does not work. I have to shrink the window until the key will bring back me at the beginning of the sequence.

  This bothered me for so long that I was editing in first, but I have never taken the time to see if anyone has a solution to this problem. Does anyone know how to make this work because I expect to? If having a keyboard shortcut to the beginning of the sequence is useful when you work with a screen that shows all the windows, the keyboard shortcut would be even more useful when you do not see what you are doing?

  Is this a bug? Can I ask it as a feature in the next update? Any advice would be much appreciated.

  A few years ago, I bought a key for a University Photoshop CS6. I activate the key online and download Photoshop. End of everything, but now I realize that the key is not in 'My products' more. And the key no longer work, if I want to activate it. But I have the normal version of Photoshop 6 on my PC and can use it and can also access My Adobe in Firefox, if I click on help.

• S50 satellite - B - 14 M - button and function keys switch F

  So, I posted this a few days ago on plateau "Tools & Utilities", but did not answers, then maybe I should be more patient. But, since this forum seems to be a little more active, I thought I would try it here as well. Who knows, maybe some people with a Satellite S have experienced the same thing!

  I looked for an answer on google and this forum for days, but were not able to find something useful (especially in combination with 'windows 10', I have no idea if install had no effect in the present).

  I installed Windows 10 last week, and I don't know if it's the 'problem' at the start, but since yesterday I've been aware of the fact that the 'modus special function"F - keys (i.e. the function in which you don'thave to store the function key to access the special functions under the (former) F keys) no longer works.

  I have already tried:
  -My system restarts
  -Control Panel > keyboard > function key modus (but which has been defined correctly!).
  -Tried any combination of Fn with any other possible key.

  So I don't know what the problem is. It might have something to do with the $ 10 Windows?

  Toshiba Satellite S50 - B - 14 M
  Pre-installed with Windows 8.1, upgraded to Windows 10 Home last Tuesday

  Hello arlusk, the problem is probably an extension that is not working properly. Try Firefox Safe mode to see if the problem goes away. Safe mode is a troubleshooting mode, which disables most of the modules.

  (If you use it, switch to the default theme).

  If these two buttons are certainly defective there is nothing to see. As you know the essential mechanism is very small and very delicate. As much as I know it's not possible to order the buttons separately, but in my opinion, you should contact the Service of your country partner and explain the problem. Maybe they have a solution outside keyboard replacement.
