4.6.3610 imaging of the failure of 5.0 t510 HP ThinPro HPDM

I am struck the wall here, I can't understand why I can't image my peripheral t510 HP. I get the error message below. 'Image Operation Failed' - I can't know all the more verbose errors to go off of. Any help?

    Try the following:

In the Camera Raw window, press Ctrl + K (Cmd + K on a Mac) to bring up the preferences.

Uncheck the box processor graphics use.

If that suits him, update your graphics driver may allow you to work with the checked graphics processor.

  • System backup Image against the system recovery disks

    Hello

I'm new to the system recovery things and I have a question...

I just bought a new computer laptop m7-1015dx of Pavilion and need to do system recovery discs... (which I realize restore laptop to factory default)... BTW, I have already created the system repair disc.

However, I read an article on creating a system backup Image allowing you to recovery if lost EVERYTHING, all your installed programs, etc.

    First Question:

Can someone tell me if I do the backup IMAGE of the system...

Do I still need to create recovery disk (mfg default) system also?

    The second Question:

If I create system recovery disks can I still this Recovery Partition?

I am really really wanting to partition my C:\ drive... it is huge

In addition, I hate to see storage folders involved in system folders...

Currently using a symbol/character to separate them.

From now on, I can't partition the C:\drive all partitions are used as... Max is 4

and I have 4... C:\drive, System Partition, Partition HPTools and recovery Partition.

Any help or assistance would be appreciated.

    Thanks for the research.

    Best regards, Jenn

    Hi, Jenn:

I'd certainly recovery disks because in the case of a hard drive failure, a recovery partition is unnecessary because it would be on the failed drive.

Recovery disks will do the same as a recovery partition. Reinstall the operating system and programs supplied with your laptop.

I have also copy off the coast of the C:\drive SWSetup folder and store it on a portable hard drive that contains all files Installer provided with your PC (except MS Office 2010 Starter).

You can also make your own Windows 7 installation disc and have a nice bloatware without installing windows, and then install only the programs you want from the SWSetup folder.

    Here's how:

If you can read the Microsoft windows 7 25-character product key, you can download simple Windows 7 ISO files to burn on a DVD for the version of windows that is installed on your PC, and which is listed on the Microsoft COA sticker on your PC case.

Burn the ISO with the option to burn the ISO on your DVD burning program and burn it at the slowest possible speed that will allow your program. This will create a bootable DVD.

Or use the installation of Windows 7 USB/DVD tool to compile the ISO file that you download from Digital River. Link and instructions below. You need a 4 GB flash drive to use the USB compilation method.

    http://www.microsoftstore.com/store/msstore/HTML/pbPage.Help_Win7_usbdvd_dwnTool

Use 25 characters on the PC product key to activate the installation.

The key will activate a 32 or 64 bit installation.

Then go to the support of the PC and driver page to install the drivers you need.

Link to downloads ISO of W7 is below.

    http://www.mydigitallife.info/official-Windows-7-SP1-ISO-from-Digital-River/

You can get rid of all the partitions you want to if you plan to use recovery or disc of Windows 7 installation method that I posted above.

I write my product key and store them somewhere for more security that many people report that it fades if you keep the laptop on your lap a lot, and then you wouldn't be able to use the alternative method to install W7.

  • Satellite A100-410 - no image on the internal display

Dear readers, (also strange that Toshiba sells also in the Netherlands, and I do not use the Dutch language)

    I have a Toshiba Satellite A100-410
I have problems after one year only (after warranty) where to plug an external monitor.
The laptop displays not its own screen, without external screen is lighter, it starts but no picture.
I did it with Fn + F5 but nothing

Controlled parameters but no error detected.
It would be nice if someone could send an email with a url so that the old setting back.
It's a Windows XP MCE and the mechanic that all abducted and put Vista on.

At the beginning, a lot of problems, but it was under warranty and after that install on a clean disk Vista had no problem just no image on the notebook and which isn't difficult if you use him in the hospital.

So I hope that someone can send an email with a solution.

    Thank you
    Seggelinck

(> also strange that Toshiba sells also in the Netherlands, and I do not use the Dutch language)

Toshiba selling own products around the world... everyone here validate in the own language? Definitely bad idea...

    However, your question;
Just to clarify your question; the internal screen does not work, but you can all see if you connect to the laptop to the external monitor. Is this good?

Well, I doubt that this could be a software issue... maybe the internal screen is defective.
What do you thing about this idea?

Usually, you should see the start screen for Toshiba at the beginning of the startup procedure. If this screen is not visible on the screen of the laptop computers, so I guess that this problem could be linked to the failure of the display.

  • How much space will be an average image of the system take?

I am planning to buy an external hard drive, so I store my backup system on it my computer failure. I just want to know how much will be an image of the system average resumes if you have a few programs with a value of approximately 20 GB.

    PB

If you make an overall picture of the partition to the OS, it will take the same amount as the OS partition before compression.  Compression can reduce the size of ~ 25%

    For example
Your operating system partition is 40 GB image would be ~ 30 concerts.

  • Backup Windows XP to create the complete image of the system?

Original title: Windows Xp backup for the new update to reader.

I want to get a new larger internal hard drive.  However the idea of trying to reinstall all my programs and settings have discouraged me it doing so. My Mac is great in that it allows me to back up my entire system with time machine on an external hard drive, and I can put it all right even if I accidentally erase my whole machine.

Window xp Backup Wizard can do the same?

Under the Backup Wizard tool, it seems to be a selection that says that "all information on this computer.  So once I have replaced my old internal drive with the new and improved, can simply paste in my external drive in the USB port and reinstall everything as it is?  is this possible?

I realized with the technical stuff you just can't assume anything and that things go wrong or you need something more...

    Hi Yes,

This isn't the functionality of Windows XP. However, you can find this feature in Windows 7.
Win 7 backup and restore: complete Image of the system expects a full recovery of the system easier if there is a hard drive or a computer failure.

  • Lost in My Documents after the failure of the system files

I have a (~ 6 years old), Dell Precision Workstation 360 serice XP Pro pack 3. This morning when I got up the screens show vertical bands of color. Given zero has nothing - not even the selection screen or function key boot options to enter the bios Setup. In brief - not even a partial boot - just (double) monitors show the vertical lines of color. Encryption on the motherboard could have found death I took the C: drive and plugged into one another computer (XP) via one box drive external usb. In windows Explorer I can see just about everything that I expect to see on the drive except in the My Documents folder. I don't know what should be there, but the only in My Documents is the music of my pictures of my user name and user name. The only items in these folders are the XP sample music files and images. I did a search on the entire disk for a couple of files that I know should be in My Documents, but nothing was found. Since then, I ran a virus scan using Norton Internet Security, but he found no virus. I've got some critical files on this disc I need today. Stupid me - had not saved them in a few weeks, so a lot of work is missing.

Any assistance to resolve this would be greatly appreciated.

    Warren

It seems that there are file system corruption, after the failure of your hardware. Try some recovery software data (links below) or, if data is critical and expense is not a problem, don't take any chances and send the drive to a professional drive savers data recovery company.

  • My image of the PC monitor flashes once then stays black at startup.

NO IMAGE on the screen at the start except for a MILLISECOND FLASH then BLACK SCREEN.

    AUDIO works OK.

When I turn the monitor off and then after a few seconds, the back, I have MS FLASH then BLACK SCREEN.

When I turn the monitor off and then after TEN MINUTES, return, I get MS FLASH then BLACK SCREEN.

When I RESTART (reset) the Tower, I get the same result as the line.

I've done two attempts, the last attempt after a wait of 20 minutes, and the result was successful.

Windows has asked for me to choose a Setup to continue... I chose NORMAL and now everything looks OK.

This happens everytime I turn on, I have to go through the same procedure each time.

I am also convinced that it is not good for the health of my pc.

    Please can someone... Thank you

    Hi George,.

It seems that the monitor has failed.

Another aspect of the screen that does not fairly regularly is the inverter.

As he begins to come out, the monitor does not work during any part of the start-up.

He may be able to gather enough power to turn on the monitor if, as in this case, it is left on a certain period of time.

You can try this monitor on another computer, if this option is available, to see if it exhibits the same behavior.

If so, it is reasonable to assume that this is a failure.

  • Uploading images on the server

    Hi all

My requirement is that the user enters the images and images must be uploaded to the server in the background while the user can continue to perform other tasks at the request. I would like to know what is the best way to implement a background thread that downloads images on the server. Could someone please provide me with a few entries. Thanks in advance.

    Kind regards

    S.A.Norton Stanley

There is no problem with the background Thread.  I would recommend that you have only one Thread, containing the first element of a list persistent images to send.  Once the image has been sent to it, the Thread deletes the entry for one just sent and resumed the following.  You need good timing around the updating of the list, I use usually vector which is theoretically synchronized correctly but I'm a check anyway.

The processing of wire has a public Add method that starts the Thread if it is not running.  The Thread stops when there is nothing in the queue.

All this is pretty standard, I think.  But there are a few things that I think that you may need to add to this transformation to make it more robust:

    (a) you can give the user the option to delete the image once it is sent.  Indeed remember that the user could remove the image before sending it and if treatment should take care of this.

    (b) I would recommend a server component that receives Images.  You can then move the image into pieces because some methods of communication are limited by the size of the data that can be transferred to a single connection.  I would recommend breaking the image into blocks of 64 KB.  You should provide a mechanism to restart here too, so that you can return just the parts in waiting for an image after a failure.

    (c) you need to think about the question to know if the server and intermediate gateways will deal with binary data, or do you need to encode it in text (Base 64 seems to be the way to go if you do).

    (d) you should consider which allows the user to limit communication to specific connections, such as WiFi or 3 G.

    (e) you will need to be very careful about the coding of restart and recovery, so that the treatment doesn't die unexpectedly.

    Hope this is useful.  .

  • First image in the Gallery is stuck

I work with an image gallery and the first image in the transition are stuck at the bottom of the file, but the remaining images fly just in place.

I have a sneaking suspicion it may have something to do with my position somewhere or my interpolation. I added a global variable, thinking it may have something to do with the garbage collection causing my tween to stop partially, but it does not solve the problem. It's just this first image when it passes over the scene. After that, everything works perfectly. Even the transition of click.

It is part of my final project and because I have this problem, everything will finally work. Everything is built using as3, so you could copy and paste, if you wish. The problem is the following line in the section "else", possibly in conflict with other interpolation assigned to the object.  Comment that out and things should work as expected.  I suggest the conditional together after all the photoBMP/photoBack code... the logic being, the image in the process first, then proceed to process the other, not the other way around.  According to Kenneth, you should not use the same var for all tweens.

imgTween = new TweenLite (photoContainer, tweenDuration, {rotation: 0,})

    :Expo.easeInOut}) ease;

  • Adding an image when the answer is correct and the other when the answer is false

    Hi all

I have a problem that seems simple, but I can't find a way to solve it.

    I try to explain it:

When I do a slide of questionnaire, I want to show an image when the answer is correct (although the box seems to say that your answer is correct press on Y to continue) and a different picture when the answer isn't with red boxing.

    If someone has an idea?

    Thank you

    Xavier

    Hello

You are looking in the wrong place. Open the workspace Quizzing, easier. In the Quiz properties panel (now on the left), the accordion of Action to choose Advanced action, for "Success" and "on the last attempt"these actions are executed when the user clicks on the button submit, if at least you delete legends of success or failure by default as I explained previously."

  • Editing images in the library.

    Hello
I am very new to Captivate and myself teaching on the fly. I watched the little available in Captivate tutorials and one mentioned that you can use the library for editing images in photoshop, and then automatically update in this slide in the Captivate project.

When I open my library said edit edit with ImageReady. I tried and saved the image, but it won't let me save it as a PNG so I can't import into the library. I ended up opening the image in ImageReady, use it to send the image to PhotoShop, save is a GIF just remove the background of the slide, and then add the picture to the slide.

This slide also had one click on the button with a text message to hover and a text message of failure that I had then to move to the front to show when you click on the page or hover the click button. It was a pain that I had to drive the background image, then use make before then bring the background again image and selecting all three components (click the 2 text boxes and the box) has not been easy.

There must be a better way. Any ideas?

Hi Nikki@work and welcome to our community

When you right-click on an image in the library, that he opens with is often unknown. In my view, that the actual image file type determines which editor is used (assuming we have already been assign├⌐, which it can). But normally, you see "Edit with...". "as the only option you have. And once you choose that, you choose the editor desired. So even if ImageReady is already there, you should also be able to right click and choose "Edit with...". "even if she has been associated with. Then, open the image in the application of your choice.

I've seen where once the change has been made in the other application and that you close the application and save the changes, the image is unable to automatically update in Captivate. But if it happens, it's pretty easy to image right click and choose update... from the context menu to synchronize the changes.

It also points to something else that you should be aware. When you update the images that have been added since your hard drive, you probably think that you change only the images that are in the. CP file. But what you do really updates the image to the location where you inserted go! So if it is important that you maintain a pristine copy of the image, make sure you that you first save under a new name of file if you keep the original!

Hope this helps a bit... Rick

  • Multiple images with the same file name no doubt prevent export

iMac running OS X El Capitan v10.11.6; Photos 1.5

I'm trying to export approximately 331 images and I get an error report saying that only 169 of the exported images due to the inability to create files for 159 of the images.  Then the report gives me the names of files of the first 100 images for which files were not created.  After looking at many images that would not create a file, I realized that, in any case, there was at least one, if not several, other images with the SAME EXACT FILE name as the image in question.  I can't change the names of files by right click on "info".  I tried to export the images and change the names of files to export using the sequential option and the option of album name - always having exactly the same problem.  I even tried not to export an image at once and change the name of the file individually or no available. Is there a work around that? I desperately need to export those specific images. I am trying to create a photo album for shown to mothers who choose a family with which you want to place their child/ren for adoption. I'm at my wit's end.  The kicker is I'm moving towards trying to export all my pictures, and that's going to be a HUGE problem in course for me, so I really hope that there is a way around this question somewhat simply. I am a hobby photographer and use the computer for businesses and crafts.  I've seen a few posts that included answers referencing "AppleScript" - I have no idea how to do something like that.

From here on I will DEFINITELY ensure that my Canon continually numbers the names of image files and automatically resets.  For the other photos other than Canon, is possible to rename images during the import of the lot?

All advice and help will be GREATLY appreciated!

Finder has the ability to rename files with various models of lot.  Simply select all the files to rename, right-click one of the selected files, choose 'Rename X points... '. ", and then set the options and click on the button"Rename ".
