My image of the PC monitor flashes once then stays black at startup.

NO IMAGE on the screen at the start except for a MILLISECOND FLASH then BLACK SCREEN.

AUDIO works OK.

When I turn the monitor off and then after a few seconds, the back, I have MS FLASH then BLACK SCREEN.

When I turn the monitor off and then after TEN MINUTES, return, I get MS FLASH then BLACK SCREEN.

When I RESTART (reset) the Tower, I get the same result as the line.

I've done two attempts, the last attempt after a wait of 20 minutes, and the result was successful.

Windows has asked for me to choose a Setup to continue... I chose NORMAL and now everything looks OK.

This happens everytime I turn on, I have to go through the same procedure each time.

I am also convinced that it is not good for the health of my pc.

Please can someone... Thank you

Hi George,.

It seems that the monitor has failed.

Another aspect of the screen that does not fairly regularly is the inverter.

As he begins to come out, the monitor does not work during any part of the start-up.

He may be able to gather enough power to turn on the monitor if, as in this case, it is left on a certain period of time.

You can try this monitor on another computer, if this option is available, to see if it exhibits the same behavior.

If so, it is reasonable to assume that this is a failure.

  • Qosmio X 305-bad image on the external monitor quality

My x 305-701 has excellent image on the original monitor, but if I connect the laptop to Acer 22 ' VGA cable I get a blurry image on the external monitor only.

It does not matter if I use two monitors at the same time or just the Acer, the external monitor is always blurred the laptop monitor is always perfect. I tried the external monitor in 1440 x 900 and 1680 x 1050 and have adjusted the frequency of refresh of all available parameters, 59 Hz, 60 Hz and 75 Hz, and the blurred image is still there.

I love this Qosmio and appreciate it even more on the widescreen monitor any help would be greatly appreciated.

I know that LCD screens are blurry if set to non-native resolution. I think you need to set the correct resolution for the external monitor. Check your external display native resolution and set in display settings.

  • Portege R500 - no image on the external monitor

    Hello everyone

There is no image on the external monitor on my Portege R500 with Win XP SP3.
The screen seems to receive the signal, but the screen remains black.

Anyone know a solution for this problem?
    Sorry for my bad English.

    Hello

How have you tried to exit from display on an external monitor?
Usually, you use the FN + F5 key combination.
This allows you to switch between the two screens; laptop + external display.

I had a problem to view a video on the external monitor because the video is already running. You must switch to the external display until you start the movie, etc.

  • Shaking image on the external monitor when the Satellite A200 is running on AC

    Hello

I have this problem that drives me crazy... I bought an external monitor for my laptop Toshiba Satellite A200-1 9 s, but the problem is that the image on the external monitor, shakes. I tried another monitor, the same, another cable, same problem; the only way to stop it is to unplug the AC of the laptop.

I also tried to move the monitor further away from the laptop, but nothing.
I can stop shaking so hard that if I switch to the profile AC from FULL POWER to save power... but even with this image is still shaking a little.

So basically there is a magnetic field around here, probably in the portable, which makes my picture shaking like crazy... someone knows how to stop it?
    TX

    Hello

    Hmmm...
I don't think it has to do something with magnetic fields.

Cause she is related to the energy consumption of the computer, it seems that there is a problem with the AC adapter.
If he needs to deliver all the 'juice', this is capacitors to keep absolutely stable voltage may be too low.
These instabilities (with the frequency of 50 Hz supply) can parasitize the signal on the screen.

A solution for this?... If you know how to solder some fat capacitors somehow between the two...

    Or:
    It is a grounding problem
I have never heard of such problems with the LCD (VGA monitors?) monitors. Generally, this is the case when you use an analog video output,
leading to no color on TV.
You have an annoying hum when you connect the audio output to an amplifier? It would be a sign for it.
I had such a problem and solved by plugging my laptop on the sector on another circuit in the House as my audio devices
    So experiment with it.
First: unplug all the other stuff (printer, Poles, antennas, all) these are unpleasant problems with a lot of possible interference.

    Let me know!

  • Hi, when I connect to my Wired XBOX 360 controller to my PC the guide button flashes once and there is no answer. I use 32 bit Windows 7, Dual core 2 GB Ram DDR2

Hi, when I connect to my Wired XBOX 360 controller to my PC the guide button flashes once and there is no answer. I use 32 bit Windows 7, Dual core 2 GB Ram DDR2

    Hi JamBoard,

It is possible, that you need to install the drivers for the controller.  You can get them from here:

    http://www.Microsoft.com/hardware/en-us/p/Xbox-360-controller-for-Windows#support

However, if it's not too hot, it could be a real hardware problem.

  • BlackBerry Z10 red LED flashes once, then again 6

Hi there and thank you for your help.

My son Z10 wouldn't start Friday. When connected to the charger, the red light flashes once and then another 6 times and then repeats the sequence.

Did someone knows what can be the problem and how to fix it?

    Kind regards

    Deon

I thank very you much for the replies.

I managed to fix it by downloading and making a 'Reload' with link BB. Now I think that the software was corrupted after battery ran flat. Is this 'normal' behavior when the battery is flat?

    Kind regards

  • Portege M800: No image on the external monitor

    Hello
Today, I tried to connect my PC laptop Toshiba M800 to another CRT monitor without success.

I use the Fn + F5 keys, but nothing happens, I mean a small window opens which shows me the options LCD, LCD + CRT, CRT, LCD + TV etc, but nothing happens when I choose CRT or LCD + CRT.
I use a VGA cable, it's ok because the same monitor and the same cable works fine when I use my Acer laptop.

I even downloaded the latest display driver Intel and the last updated of the BIOS, but there still nothing...
All ideas will be welcome. :)

    It's very strange.
What is your laptop preinstalled with original Toshiba recovery image?
What operating system do you use?

  • Automatically discovers the current image on the second monitor

    Hello

Is there a way to get the behavior obtained with on photoshop lightroom, when you always want to preview full size on a second monitor?

I like to do my work on the cintiq, but it is obviously not as good as my color monitor calibrated. Currently, I am having to perform a 'new window' for each thing, that I'm working and manually moving the calibrated monitor. Is there something out there that automates this process?

Lightroom has it and it works fine.

Photoshop a bit with his camera overview - but that sends the image to an iPad.

Any other ideas other than my manual way?

    Thank you!

    Andres

Use the Navigator (set to nearly full height) Panel on your second monitor. The browser panel is part of the workspace and remains in place.

  • Proper placement of the Image on the Second monitor

    Monitor Problem.jpg

I used a setup two monitor for awhile.

Recently I replaced my 19 inch right hand with a 24 monitor monitor inches.

Now that I extend Photoshop CC 2015 on the second monitor, the extended section is not in line with the section base. In other words, the upper part of the extended section is 2 inches below the base section; and the bottom of the extended section is the bottom of the screen.

My system is Windows 7 64-bit with a videocard GeForce 660

Any suggestions on how I could fix this problem? In the display on the right hand monitor is set to full screen, the image appears correctly. I tried to use OSD of the monitor to change the location of the image, but this seems to be unable to solve this problem.

Above is a picture of the problem.  On the left is PS CC 2015; on the right is the extension of Photoshop.

Right click on the desktop and choose screen resolution. Select the second screen and drag by the amount of that compensation is.  It's something that I discovered completely by accident during the addition of a third screen (Cintiq Companion 2).  You can drag above or below, left, or right and refine the position.  It's a trick, but I'm not quite sure if it's purely Windows code, or integrated in the video drivers (nVidia in my case)

What happens if you connect the monitor directly to the laptop without docking station? It work?

As the title suggests, so whenever I plug my Microsoft Wireless Notebook Optical Mouse 3000 in the port, the receiver flashes once quickly, and don't light up like its supposed to. The mouse has a new battery.  The mouse worked just a couple of days.  I got it since last Saturday.  It is used, so I don't have a warranty.  Anyone know why its doing this?  The mouse is turned on at all times if feels movement.  The battery is good and I used it this morning until it stopped working.  It would gradually stop working.  Now when I try to resynch to see if this is the problem the receiver flashes once and then no more.

  • Windows will start, the screen starts flashing and then the screen say Logging Off, then restore the screen to the CTRL ALT DEL all other functions will not work.

Start my computer, it will default to the CTRL ALT DEL screen.  After graduating in the login screen I enter the password.  Windows will start and then the screen starts flashing and the screen say Logging Off, then restore the screen to the CTRL ALT DEL I can boot into safe mode.  All other functions will not work.

    Thank you

I guess you wanted to ask how to solve the problem. If then all in Safe Mode you can use system restore to set up Windows to a point when the problem did not exist.

When you use the external monitor and when the OS is fully charged, try to use the FN + F5 key combination to turn on laptop's LCD rear.
    This option is available?
    It work?
