NEED SOLUTION TO INSTALL WINDOWS VISTA UPDATES. ALWAYS INDICATE AN UNKNOWN ERROR AND CANNOT INSTALL

Let us know what you have already done, the security software installed on the computer and the updates that are available for installation.

Follow the steps mentioned below:
(I) check if Windows update-related services are set to automatic and started.
Click Start, type services.msc in the start search box, right-click to services.msc, and then click Run as administrator.
Check the above services below:
(a) Background Intelligent Transfer Service
(b) cryptographic service
(c) Windows Update

(II) rename the Catroot2 folder
To rename the Catroot2 folder, follow these steps: 1. Click Start, type cmd in the search box and right-click on cmd.exe, and then click Run as administrator.
2. at the command prompt, type the following commands and press ENTER after each line:
net stop cryptsvc
Ren %systemroot%\System32\Catroot2 oldcatroot2
net start cryptsvc
output
3 remove all tmp*.cat to the following folder:
% systemroot%\system32\CatRoot\{F750E6C3-38EE-11D1-85E5-00C04FC295EE}

If any of the files that begin with tmp exist in this folder, do not remove any other files. Files .cat in this folder are necessary for installing hotfixes and service packs.
Important: Do not rename the folder C:\windows\system32\catroot. The Catroot2 folder is automatically recreated by Windows, but the C:\windows\system32\catroot folder is not recreated if is renamed the folder C:\windows\system32\catroot.
 
(III) Re-register DLL files that are associated with Cryptographic Services
To register .dll files that are associated with Cryptographic Services, follow these steps:
1. start, type cmd in the search box and right-click on cmd.exe, and then click Run as administrator.

2. at the command prompt, type the following commands and press ENTER after each command:
regsvr32 /u softpub.dll
regsvr32 /u wintrust.dll
regsvr32 /u initpki.dll
regsvr32 /u dssenh.dll
regsvr32 /u rsaenh.dll
regsvr32 /u gpkcsp.dll
regsvr32 /u sccbase.dll
regsvr32 /u slbcsp.dll
regsvr32 /u mssip32.dll
regsvr32 /u cryptdlg.dll

regsvr32 softpub.dll
regsvr32 wintrust.dll
regsvr32 initpki.dll
regsvr32 dssenh.dll

Note: Click OK if prompted.
Restart the computer.

(IV) empty the software distribution folder
1. start, type services.msc in the search box, click services.msc, and then click Run as administrator.
2. in the Services (Local) pane, click Automatic updates and then click on stop.
3. reduce the Services (local) window.
4. Select all the contents of the Windows distribution folder, and then delete them.
Note by default, the Windows distribution folder is located in the folder drive: \Windows\SoftwareDistribution. In this place, the drive is a placeholder for the drive where Windows is installed.
5. make sure that the Windows distribution folder is empty and enlarge the Services (local) window.
6. in the Services (Local) pane, click Automatic updates, and then click Start.
7 restart the computer, and then run Windows Update again.

(V) disable the security software
Temporarily disable the security software and check.
(VI) scanner SFC

Please follow the steps below to the auditor of the filesystem as the first steps:
1. Click Start and type cmd in the box start the search.
2. in the area of results, right-click cmd.exe, and then click Run as administrator. You will be asked to type the password for an administrator account. If you are the administrator or type the administrator password, click on continue. Then click on continue.
3. at the command prompt, type Sfc/scannow, and then press ENTER.
Note: The analysis may take some time, so be patient. Windows allows to fix corrupt or missing files it finds. If the information of the installation CD is required to fix the problem, you may be asked to insert your Windows Vista CD.

    I remember the answers to security questions.   The seller must change the password and enter new answers to security questions, I did.  This happened in Bangalore.  When I'm home in Ernakulam, Kochi (India), where I has the Air of Mac, Ipad and my wife had another iPhone and laptop computer Dell, these problems began to come up on the screen and blocks the screen.

    Four Messages are appearing: the first is on the top.

    It looks like all the drivers, specifications and manuals are missing from the pages of support again.

    This happened earlier in the week also.

    Another Member of the forum has reported the problem to administrators forum, which will be in touch tour HP, but since I am not employed by, nor do I represent HP, I don't know how long it will take to restore the missing data to the support pages.

    Whether the weekend will not help much either.

    A success in the registry suggests that it is the "NetBT, SMB Trace Provider" at least used by WMI, perhaps in collaboration with different diagnoses.

    So it seems you need to do some math to whow several lines, there is, as it seems to return 0 when there is only a single record and 0 when there is none.

    Its maybe related to the fact that save shots start at 0.

    I don't use mysqli, but you should be able to do the following:

    If (! mysqli_numrows ($result) {})

    no lines have been returned

    }

    You're right PHPmyAdmin starts its numbers of transfer line with zero, not 1, so if there are 25 lines, they are listed as 0-24 lines, mysqli_numrows reports the sum, so it takes 1, not zero.

    Brégent, according to me, he was just using PHPmyAdmin to test his query.

    Which indicates some random app isn't important. Do you think that the computer is slower than usual? If this isn't the case, then you do not have a problem and you don't need to do anything. If so, please see below.

    When you see a beachball cursor or the slowness is particularly bad, note the exact time: hour, minute, second.

    These must be run as administrator. If you have only one user account, you are the administrator.

    Run the Console application in one of the following ways:

    ☞ Enter the first letters of his name in a Spotlight search. Select from the results (it should be at the top).

    Some private information, such as your name, may appear in the log. Anonymize before posting.

    When you post the journal excerpt, an error message may appear on the web page: "you include content in your post that is not allowed", or "the message contains invalid characters."   • Plugin Check gives poor results for some Mac

    On a Mac under OS X 10.6.8 (Snow Leopard) or versions earlier, Plugin check mark indicates the Applet Java plug-in and QuickTime plug-ins are obsolete.

    Steps to reproduce:
    Tools-> Add-ons-> Plugins-> check to see if your plugins are up to date

    The results show:
    Java Applet plugin update now
    QuickTime plugin 7.6.6 update now

    Explanation:
    1. before Apple OS X 10.7 (Mountain Lion) provided Java. Apple did not provide an update. [thejava.com siteupdate requires Mac OS X (10.7.3 version and above)]
    2. There is no update QuickTime plugin 7.6.6 for some Mac; It is a more recent OS x 10.6.3 via 10.6.8.

    Plugin Check can be fixed?
    Macs can get better help? (Some bugs without go back to Firefox 3.5 and before!)

  • 0 search results for modules

    When you use the search box on https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/ it shows suggestions as I type. But when I hit enter or click on search I get 0 results.

    There is a bug reported for this question (don't post in the bug, report as provided for Mozilla developer discussions and resolutions only)-> https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=767683

    The short term solution is the following:

    • your search from the search Add page - on, then press the Enter key
    • on the results page (showing no found items), in the margin on the left under "Works with", select "All systems", and the results page will fill based on your entry in the search box
    • Unfortunately, the results will be for all operating systems and all versions of Firefox,

    The only other options:

    • Enter both in the area of research to Add on as possible and choose in the menu under the search field
    • Use a search engine (like Google) to search for modules in their name and look for a link with https://addons.mozilla.org/... start
