4530 s display ficker

Hello

Watching a movie in full screen etc, sometimes my pc display is flashing... I don't know if it's a hardware or software problem.

Can someone help me diagnose and solve this problem

Hello ArsalanAhmed,

The screen flashes when you watch movies.

Go to HP.com and update the graphics driver. You can also update the BIOS in case the computer is overheating.

Here is a link to updates. You will need your product number.

You can also connect another monitor to the laptop and see if you get the problem on the external monitor. This will tell you if the problem is with the computer to the screen.

By clicking on the White Star congratulations on the left is a way of saying thanks!

I would like to know how everything goes.

Nice day.

  • ProBook 4530 s: cannot delete the HP volume/brightness screen displays

Hi, as the title suggests, I want to remove the displays on-screen volume/brightness/capslock/numlock on my laptop

Short story about what happened from my side, I got my laptop 3 years ago and the display screens were not there, until I reformatted my laptop a few months ago to windows 7 Professional (a win7 Ultimate) and the screen came with it, now I'm on windows 10 and they are still there

Major problem I have with them are the fairly high FPS drop they cause, not to mention those bugs

I looked in the forums of hp for solutions and nothing will not work:
    HP Quicktouch/tauch missing
HP MediaSmart Smart menu is missing also
Revo uninstaller did not find anything about this is mentioned in the forums

    Thanks for the help

I have never seen or met.

I've seen similar, as in games or overlays of user interface overlays. You have installed a program to show that?  Check in your "hidden icons", down to your left. Y at - it an icon which shows, if so can "out you"?  Is it in the Control Panel, all programs that say "overlay" or something?

The last thing that I can say, go to the Task Manager and go to the Startup tab. Is there something in there that can refer to a display on?

If none of them are successful, I will continue to look more deeply into it.

  • ProBook 4530 s: Startup Long caused by the display driver AMD Catalys version 15.20

Use a SSD and it still took 5 to 10 seconds to start.
Now, it takes more than a minute and there is no activity in the car while I'm looking at a black screen before the lock screen appears. Any ideas how to fix this?

Now, I'm on Windows 10 (had the same questions about 8.1 btw) and it didn't do better after the upgrade so I decided to ask about it. Returning to the old driver provided by HP solve the long startup time, but then the catalyst Control Center says there is no options to customize when I try to open it. Which means that there is no way for me to change the GPU is.

Also, how can I find out what graphics processor, I am currently using the new version of Catalyst Control Center?
Selecting maximize the battery life or maximize Performance under power play really changes the GPU I use? It is more difficult to believe how she went from flickering in a smooth transition, I changed the GPU in previous versions...

  • HP ProBook 4530 s has strange periodic buzzing from the speakers

I recently bought a HP ProBook s 4530 and I am now a regular buzz (about every 30 seconds or more) from the speakers during playback of any media. The system has Windows 7 Professional 32-bit with a card IDT High Definition Audio CODEC installed. No error message is displayed and all drivers are newer and work would have been properly. I had no problem for the first two weeks, then allof it suddenly appears. I j. River Media center installed, and the problem appeared all first when I played the music. I finally found a solution by changing the default value in the media player of mp3 to WASAPI. But it does nothing to affect the noise from other sources. The sound also goes to speakers only when certain applications (local and internet) are released for a short period. Any help will be most appreciated.

  • Good question Probook s 4530: partial Solution, need the rest

    Hi all

Just took delivery of a Probook s 4530 about 5 days ago and it is quite the spectator and performer. Love everything about it, but the display quality may have better brightness and contrast. My only gripe, really.

But it's not what it is! Here's the deal:

Unpacking of the laptop for the first time and do initial set, before she even started in Windows for the first time, he had a pretty bad glitch audio / video. A "hiccup" would be an understatement. More like a cough, sometimes a hacking. An audible ' buzz' and accompanying video stuttering if I look at the video and just an audible buzz if listening to music. This seems to happen randomly and at various intervals. But it would take place in less than a minute when you listen or look at a media and continue throughout.

I found a thread here where a guy had the same problem for one different model, other Chorus, solutions banttered on and finally he came to it and it works:

    Disable the wireless device.

At first, I tried to simply unplug the connection to the Local network, but no go. Disable all of the device and the problem goes away. Tested over and over again. When I connected to the internet it messes up in 20 seconds. But unplug / turn off the wireless card and watch a whole movie without hitch and wells, problem found. And I hope that this thread others help find a partial solution, also.

But as said, this is only a partial solution. The internet has streaming video, music streaming, movies, TV, games, all these goodies audio / video, I like! But I can't enjoy if connected to the internet, because the computer coughs and if not connected the computer didn't cough... but I'm not connected! Ugh!

So I wonder what's my next move? What are some compatible drivers / updated drivers for my card which can solve the problem of total and won't mess up my computer? I think that perhaps something different for audio and wireless? But which? Oh of course, Windows says they are the "latest drivers', but who cares what Windows?  I would like to take care of this in one fell swoop if possible without too much guessing and trial and error. Right now I have:

    Adapter wireless Atheros AR9285 802.11 b/g/n

    and

    Atheros AR3011 Bluetooth 3.0 + HS adapter

    and

    High definition audio

I don't know the exact drivers because I'm away from the laptop atm.  But I think they can be changed or uninstalled / reinstalled. I want to just do it without problem. And I only BT could be important, as BT does not work without the card wireless enabled. So I mentioned. Which is another subject of concern. To disable the device (wireless) for watching videos or listening to music does mean no internet OR bluetooth, apparently.

I'm the guy at home, to Midway. Help!

    You are the very welcome.

    There is your problem.

The atheros wireless card is not capable of widi.

Visit 4530 s service manual, Chapter 3 25 and get the 6230 Intel one if the country you live in figure in the list.

The BIOS has a white list that prevents installation, so you need to get the part in the maintenance manual and it must have the part number HP on it or it won't work not unsupported wireless network adapters.

  • Does the Acer Aspire 4530 TV output support?

My father has an old Acer Aspire 4530. I am trying to determine if it has tv out capability so we can connect to its new TV with a cable composite VGA adapter. It has a VGA port, and it's really...

I think that its come to Aspire with Vista (not sure if it's 32 or 64 b, but its Athlon X 2 64 would have supported either). It has downgraded to XP.

As far as I've been able to determine, the 4530 has a NVIDIA GeForce 9100 M G. But I was not able to determine if this GPU supports tv-out. You can provide any help would be appreciated. Maybe I'm looking in the wrong places...

Welcome aboard, the syntax. I was able to find two versions of the Aspire 4530 comments and neither mentioned one TV. A detailed review listed as optical capabilities with a webcam and the ability to support its own monitor and an external display simultaneously.

After this review, I don't think that it can withstand a TV.

  • What about the USB 3.0? HP ProBook 4530 s this product to have a USB 3.0 port?

    What about the USB 3.0?

    Serial number: {removed privacy}

OS Windows 7 Home premium (Original)

This product do actually have USB 3.0 port? If so, how do I install drivers for that?

In the specifications of this model, I can see that there is a USB 3.0 port.
All 4 usb ports work correctly but I don't see anything like USB 3.0 in Bus USB controllers in Device Manager, I tried to install "ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp53501-54000/sp53671.exe" from the drivers for my product download page. It doesn't change anything in the device but installed a Manager application called "USB 3.0 Host Control Utility" when I opened, it displays a "warning!" Dialog box saying "not found USB 3.0 host controller '.

    Why is this?

This product do actually have USB 3.0 port? If so, how do I install drivers for that?

Yes, it is possible that she has a PIN 9 without support 3.0.

Like I said before, all the usb 3.0 ports that I saw and work at speeds 3.0 have a blue plastic insert.

  • ProBook 4530 s: computer laptop suddenly notworking

    Hello

I'm having a problem with my HP ProBook 4530 s... I was experimenting with the voice of his system and it can work in my software JARVIS. All of a sudden after I restarted my computer. the boimetric function not working anymore and the screen goes dim gloss and I cannot adjust by pressing fn + F3, whenever it gets to the opening of session and password screen / biometric. the dark screen only happens when im already in the logon screen, but the display is ok on the bios and the windows loading screen. No audio device is too projected. It seems that everybody has been affected, and I can't even connect to the internet.  I tried to play a game. Games works but not display sound and very dark. to add to the details - sometimes the screen is ok if I leave him alone in the login screen, but after I move the mouse or press any key or touch the screen becomes dim new (like 70% Sun). Help, please.

Finally managed to do work. It turns out that I disabled something unknowingly perhaps, services or something like that, silly me. I tried changing the msconfig startup options to restart normally, and everything goes back to normal. hope that HRT may be of some help to others. Good luck

  • Photograph of the finger and 4530 s graphics driver, pilot and pilot of the base unit.

    I have a HP Probook 4530 s product: XX953EA #UUW, Windows 7 Professional 64-bit.

First of all, why the hell can't HP allow the user to create a set of disks, so you can restore your system to a new hard drive, fast and easy?

I've built so much anger and frustration that I almost cried this weekend. I tried all the graphics/validity finger print drivers suggested here on the forum. Each of them causes blue screen and I need to go back to a previous restore point.

Sorry for my language. How the hell a user to know which driver, your computer must have when you type in all the product id to download the drivers. I tried the Intel and ATI drivers available. Not anyone works. Blue screen all causes.

The original hard drive that I used that backup was cloned to a bigger. Now when it stopped working, I installed the original hard drive, which of course would not start. As HP do not provide the discs or ability to create discs I had to download the corresponding windows image on the homepage of Mediariver to repair the drive. Guess what, ' your version on the disc hard is not the same as on the dvd.

In addition, in Device Manager, there are a few features still not recognized.

If anyone knows how I can restore all my drivers for my laptop.

A final note for HP guys, even the ugly Acer brand, provided the user with restore disks.

How should it really be difficult to re - install your HP laptop, or you're supposed to buy a new laptop?

    :.. -(......

    Hello:

While re-reading everything that we try to get the video card driver installed, I see a thing that I don't try, then you can also give it a go...

Download and run the video driver Intel W7 of taking care of your laptop and driver page, but cancels the installation.

    http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareDescription.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodTypeId=321957&prodSeriesId=5060880&prodNameId=5060882&swEnvOID=4059&swLang=13&mode=2&taskId=135&swItem=ob-103472-1

Leave the file run and extract the driver files in the installation folder.

Go to Device Manager and click on the display of the maps section. Click on standard vga controller.  Click on standard vga card.

Click on the driver tab, click on set to update driver. Select the 'Browse my computer for software' and navigate to the installation folder that was created when you ran the file.

This file will be located in C:\SWSetup\sp56282.

Make sure that the include subfolders is selected and I hope that the driver will be installed.

    Reboot and cross your fingers.
