485 error CRC/KEY (GModbus)

I get an error CRC/LRC of a system half duplex 485 connected to a Watlow controller.  I have the device set up in MAX for auto 4-wire and I have this code running on other identicle with number systems.  Does anyone have an idea on what would cause such a mistake?

In most cases, I know that a 485 connection is a connection of 2-wire. You may need to assign MAX auto 2 son.

  • Keyboard on my satellite error - 'L' key seems to be stuck, forces logut

Hello I'm fixing a satellite phone with a keyboard error, the 'L' key seems to be stuck permanently down, except that it's not! Also by clicking on the button start requires the user to be disconnected and returned the the login screen.

The keyboard is very well, I checked and cleaned and he ran through a keyboard test program, I started the system by using restore dvd navigation of xp sp2 installation.

Updated the bios to the latest version of xp put, same error.

I restored using a different copy of xp sp2, same error.

I've also been to windows update (without clicking Start!) and checked to make sure that the laptop has had the latest updates (there) is not a problem of update, I also checked for viruses and the machine is clean.

If someone has had this problem or did someone knows how to solve. I don't want to not bin the machine because it is only two years old, but she seems to be a hardware error any in my opinion.

I have used some text here in a previous post on the closed forum that was not resolved so indeed I'm restarting, but I have the same problems-plus in my case disconnection forced by clicking Start.

    Hello

For me, this looks like a keyboard failure.

A friend of mine had a similar problem with non-Toshiba notebook.
Finally, the technician changed the keyboard and the problem was gone.

I think you should just ask a Toshiba ASP, who is responsible for your country for a control and possibly replacement keyboard

    I think this should help

    Hello Clare

Please don't get me wrong, but your ad is quite confusing.
Each Toshiba laptop comes with the pre-installed operating system and install recovery disc. New laptop models are supplied without disk recovery, but with the recovery image saved on the HARD drive and it can be used for the installation of operating system.

It will be interesting to know what model of laptop do you have and do you use original Toshiba Recovery for the OS installation disc.

To be honest I don't know what to do, you mean under another drive of Toshiba or just OS disk.
It is not understandable that you think average with different hard drive and also an another dvd player.

The whole story is extremely confused. It will be nice if you can provide more specific information.

  • Keyboard on my satellite error - 'L' key seems to be stuck

Hi everyone, I was asked to fix a satellite phone with a keyboard error, the 'L' key seems to be stuck permanently down, except that it's not! The keyboard is very well, I checked and cleaned and he ran through a keyboard test program, I started the system using a Linux live cd rather than the windows XP operating system, it already has in it.

In the live cd that we still get the same error, i.e. the "L" key continuously showing also depressed is not the driver, it takes the bios I think.

I've also been to windows update and checked to make sure that the laptop has had the latest updates (there) is not a problem of update, I also checked for viruses and the machine is clean.

It seems that you've tried everything that is possible to fix this. But without succeeding :(

It s time for a professional look by laptop technician. Maybe the entire keyboard needs to be replaced. Who knows?

  • Satellite Pro A120 - error function keys not working and affected

    I have a Satellite Pro A120 PSAC1E-04Q00VEN.

A couple of weeks, I started to have a dialog "Error of TouchED" to come to the start box (containing the message: 'Thotkey' recovery has no code error 0 X 00031402, 0x00000002) and at the same time the function keys did not work.

I spent several hours as a result of the wide variety of questions that have been posted on this forum and elsewhere regarding this problem with computers laptop Toshiba, but nothing has worked. I reinstalled all the drivers from my initial backup disk, installed new drivers on the Toshiba site, updated the bios and restored the system to date before the problem started to occur. I also can't find Thotkey.exe everywhere on my machine.

Can anyone help with this? It seems to be a common problem, for which he doesn't seem to be a definitive answer. Any useful response would be really appreciated.

    Hey Buddy

Go to the page of European driver of Toshiba.
Select your laptop model and download and reinstall the tools and the following drivers:
    -Common module
    -Utilities for display devices Hotkey
    -Utilities

  • XP x 64 CAB file extracts the data error (CRC) - several times, more than one download

I try to install Win XP Pro x 64 SP2 (Windows Server 2003 stand-alone), second download and get the same error: error (cyclic redundancy check) data on all extracted amd64\ip\txtsetup.sif fine up to this point, then crashes and refuses to go any further. It comes to 350 MB a pop, a trail of real time, even with a fast ethernet connection. Why this folder? Is there a way to get this file and a way around this problem of extraction? According to my OEM, I need to reinstall SP2 to solve my problems with Windows install, because my single drive has only SP1 on it, and I need to have SP2, which I already installed it on my system. OTW, I need to rub all over again and find a way to download and install, with everything else that's on my system, a task that I enjoy not having had to do in the past on much smaller systems (it's 230 GB).

Cyclical redundancy usually indicates a bad sector on a disk.  When this kind of errors appear, the next step would be to run "chkdsk" with the /f or/r option.  It will examine all areas of your disk and map - out of the areas he finds who has problems.  After checkdsk works, your hard drive must be in good shape and you should not have other CRC problems.

"How to perform disk error in Windows XP check"

Fair warning: If the hard disk is large or there are many problems, this verification can take hours and can not be interrupted.  Plan to run it at night or when the computer is not required for a while.  It is also possible [small] that chkdsk will get worse and the disk may be inaccessible.  A good practice would be to backup your important data before running chkdsk.

  • first error: load key not found ERROR 999 (on blue screen...)

I don't know what I was doing before the crash. But I know that after a reboot, I walked back and saw the following on a BLACK screen:

    No operating system found

After panic completely, I rebooted and got this:

On the blue screen: "key of loading not found error 999 (STHIVE =).

Everything I tried to do since that time is up to us as 1. Memory is intact, 2. Hard drive needs to be replaced.

I've been it for 15 years, reformatted computers, can hardly pull most problems, if it does not know where to look for answers.  But I've never had a total system crash.  I would like to have more information.

WHAT I TRIED: recovery of Microsoft: failure |  HP recovery: failed

I tried both several times.  I went into the bios diagnostics for, and that's when I got the 10008 = hard code it had to be replaced and code 10000 = memory? intact or something like that.

Please someone... I need at least, recover the files if possible and learn how to replace a hard drive and get one at a great price.  I'm barely making it on the invalidity of the social security (because of Lupus, fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue, Addisons, several chronic autoimmune problems).  Some days my only contact with people using a laptop in bed is human.  That's why my sister bought and I would pay for 2 years.  2 years increased in March.  Now his seven and he broke down. Photos, MP3 files, etc., some are saved on flash drives.  Recording to an external hard drive... but alas, never did.

FYI - I don't have a recovery disc - that I can find.  I ordered a drive recovery Windows Vista from MS yesterday, but if the hard drive is shot, it does not, right?  I also have HP files, for my HP Pavilion Entertainment PC, laptop, dv6736nr model.  Number of files available for download, boot order changed to ensure he'd be first boot CD, but he always comes back "no windows operating system" instead of launching the cd.

Also - I don't know how to get into the back.  I bought my first computer in 94, post back and therefore never really learned much about it.  I can't do certain things in the BACK?

Thanking in advance anyone who might help!

(Tobe and Bo are my two service companion Lhassa Apso dogs)

    Hello

First thing to do is to replace the hard drive because apparently there is no. Data currently on the disk can sometimes be recovered by a person with technical knowledge, but you must be willing to pay for the service. It can be quite expensive.

Running recovery disks will be futile until the above is accomplished. You will find that you will need to replace the memory as well. Maybe your system experienced a power surge?

There is nothing to do in the BACK like that no longer exists as an underlying layer for the Windows operating system, it expired with WinME 10 years. Vista, XP, Win2K and NT line that they stem, using a command-line environment, but is not BACK and you can load it on a damaged disc. For what it's worth, you wouldn't be able to run the BACK of a hard drive from damage in any case, you'd have to load it from a floppy disk or a disk, and it is inefficient for an OS NT-based modern Windows.

This happens often because he sees it used already on your own computer (it can not make a difference).  If you mean that you can not activate automatically, try to do it manually:

To activate manually, go to start, search, and type in slui 4 enter.  Enter your country and press Next.  You will be on a screen with a phone number and a bunch of codes below.  Dial the number and browse automatic guests until you get to a human being.  Have your handy product code because it will be asked.  Explain the situation, but it's the same PC and only installed on this PC.  They should give you a code to enter on this screen to activate Vista.

    I hope this helps.

    Hello

I met the same problem with private being badly protected key.

I solved it by encoding the private key to the DER instead of PEM format.

the command would be similar to:

OpenSSL rsa - in [-pass pass:]-outform DER-des3-out [-passout pass:]

I encrypted my private key with a password. That's why passin'/passout arguments are enclosed in brackets.

And to make sure that I don't get an error again once I also used on the key 3DES encryption.

  • Can not activate win 8 error "the key provided is not for this edition of windows, use either windows 8 setup or enter an activation key for windows 8.

OT: Cannot activate win 8 on my laptop due to the change of hard disk.

    Hi all

I have a Samsung np550p5c-s05in and it came installed with 64-bit Windows 8, later, the hard drive developed a few problems and as I had guaranteed him, they were replaced by a new, but this one came with a victory 8 32-bit that is not enabled. Now, I got the product key of victory last 8 I had so I tried using them to activate, but an error came that said something like

"The key provided is not for this edition of windows,

Use the installer of windows 8 or enter an activation key 8 windows. »

So it was logical that the key I had was for a 64-bit win 8, so I installed win 8 64 bits of an image file and then I repeated the same procedure to enter the key and the same error came once again.

I would ask so you people to please help me with this, because I have no idea whatsoever what to do next.

    Thanks in advance,

All laptops with preinstalled Windows 8.1 are OEM version of the product that are modified by computer makers. You cannot activate a product of retail of Windows 8 with an OEM key.

Someone at - he never encountered this error before or know what that means?  Google is not very useful...

    Thanks in advance,

Yes... a bit embarrassing, but on the machine to virtualize, /etc/hosts.allow and /etc/hosts.deny are configured to deny access to the subnet as my ESXi server is on.  After fixing these files and confirming that I can ssh to the machine of my subnet of virtualization, I get this error.

    Hope that helps!

  • ERROR: 'invalid key for use in determined State' when updating to Lightroom in Win8.1 5.6

While doing an update of Lightroom 5.5 to v5.6 in Win 8.1, installing interrupted at the beginning of the installation with the error message wave "key not valid for use in specified state.  Although v5.5 worked very well, the installation routine removed v5.5 application files.  I restored about to restore previous system (set just prior to installation) and retrieved the executables.  However, now 5.5 files do not open the catalog by default, no backups, or even create a new catalog.

As v5.x bought a v4.x update, I tried to reinstall the soft v4.x Lightroom original disc from the factory.  I get the same error.

    Suggestions?

    Thank you. Dan

Jeff, the cleanup utility did not work. No, I do not use system utilities, at least those who work on their own.

I've restored from a cloned disk and now have v5.6 OK.  My guess is that upgrades just before Microsoft System update of Lightroom could have something to do with it.  See my next post.

    Thanks for your help.
