    Hello!

I had some problems with my internet and everything trying to solve this problem, somehow I uninstalled my network card and its drivers.

After that (I reinstalled several times), unit is here, but it says in Device Manager that is activated, but when I go to the device in network settings, it says that it is diseblaed and its painted in grey (I clicked, window opens saying "enabaling"... but nothing happens after that). Also, I know that of not work beacause it does not find my home WIFI network and other devices in the House are connected to the home network. In the right corner of the screen there is red ' x'.

Also, when I run windows repair to see what is the problem of network it says that my network card is probably bad drivers and I should change that.

I tried a lot of drivers for broadcom 802.11n on the internet, but nothing seems to work.

I lost my network connection and I don't know where to go to fix it. If anyone has an idea where ho to continue, I have tried so many stage already that I am at a loss... Help

My computer semi regularly acted by the loss of my internet on a whim. Basically, it can detect WIFI, no problem, shows the strongest signal for her also. just tells me that it cannot connect to WIFI when I try (even if he can ask me the password and can tell if I use one bad)

    I can't reprocude the question

No significant changes to my computer because the issues started happening.

    Simple steps:

-Recovery (before the first event) system does not alter

-Router and modem are not the issue

-Could you find not updated driver anywhere (even though this does not mean that they do not exist, but having only no internet with the pc makes it particularly tricky - also HP does not provide the )

    -Power management wasn't the question

-J' tried forget network the many times this problem has occurred. He has not fixed it.

    Additional troubleshooting showed:

-Reset the Winsock Catalog did not resolve the question more than once (emplying he did the first time I did).

-Reset of TCP/IP, that does not solve the issue more far.

My WIRELESS card is a Broadcom 802.11n

Finally, the only thing that I can see (although I can easily miss something obvious) is my reinstallation of an old printer inkjet EPSON Workforce 545, which I am connected to my WIFI and my PC via USB (why I used wifi since I got cable?...) I do not know) a few days later, people who use the same network reported the act more as usual but I have not noticed anything on my end.

-J' have been disconnected from the network to the printer and stopped using it.

-J' found evidence of his feature wirless allgedly interfere with other devices here (search for entitled Review "bought two units for corn or work")

    Edit 12/04/2016

I ended up having to do a factory reset on my computer for unrelated reasons. To reconnect the original WLAN card, I don't have to use the USB adapter that I bought to solve my problem.

Factory reset works if fails everything else! Solution without after all!

  • Satellite L670 - unable to connect to my 802.11n WLAN router

    Hello

I have a new Satellite L670 with Windows 7 Home Premium. With this laptop I can connect to my network 802.11 g WLAN. Everything works very well. Now I wanted to connect to my 802.11n wlan (router: linksys wrt610n) but it does not work. Laptop can't see the network (ssid) and it does not work if I entered the ssid manually too. The network works with my mac mini perfectly if it is not a failure of the 802.11n.

I have updated all drivers from the laptop, all the updates that are installed under windows and I tested the driver broadcom broadcom itself (once the driver from toshiba Web site and the other driver from broadcom site) but nothing works. Laptop can't see the ssid and a manual configuration do not work too.

    Can someone help me pls?

  • Ralink WIreless adapter N TouchSmart 600xt (600-600/t): problem w / 5 GHz 802.11n and DD - WRT fw

I really didn't have a good experience with HP support trying to figure why my wireless 5 GHz N is not yet detected by my new 600xt.  I tried to load the latest Ralink drivers and it made no difference.  There are a few settings in Device Manager on 5 GHz so I have reason to believe that it does not support 5 GHz as some previous TouchSmart users had trouble with.

This network is detected by my Dell laptop almost 2 years very well, so I didn't expect this.  My environment really demands N connectivity and even though I have a structured wiring all through my house, it is not likely that the location of this machine will get wired anytime soon.

I'm using DD - WRT firmware on a WRT600N router.  The DD - WRT software is a 2.4 version, but it's not the newest.  It is:

    DD - WRT v24 - sp2 (07/21/09) std - build 12533

If someone has already tried a newer version or more old firmware thanks for posting your experiences.

I had checked that the country in Ralink settings setting should be #7.  Nothing else seems not to apply to this problem.

I just got my 600xt the other day, but before I bought it I was wondering if 802.11n adapter that support 5 GHz.  It is my understanding that not all do.  I found a card for the 600-1050 version that says this:

    Integrated Bluetooth and WLAN 802.11b/g/n single-band (2.4 Ghz), 2 x 2 featuring MIMO technology

So I didn't even try helping with my band of 5 GHz on my router.  If yours is as well, so you will not be able to use the 5 GHz.

    Hope that helps.

  • MediaTek MT7630E 802.11bgn adapter Wi - Fi does not work in 802.11n mode (mode-N), only G-mode

A few days ago, I got a new notebook HP ProBook 430 G1. OS: Windows 8.1

They have Mediatek MT7630E 802.11bgn Wi - Fi adapter inside.

Problem: I found this wireless adapter does not work in 802.11n mode (mode-N), but works well as in G-mode.

Some modifications in the parameters of the driver on the Advanced tab are problem solved.

I think it's a bug of material, or (less maybe) a bug in the driver.

In other forums, I heard that HP can replace the card wireless, which works well. Is it not?

You misunderstood me. I meant, of course, all channels from 1 to 13.

I solved the problem by unistalling completely all the WiFi and software of the device with its drivers from Control Panel.

Then downloaded latest drivers from site oficial Mediatek.

In the Advanced tab of the new driver settings option appeared - "802.11n direct mode.

After you enable this mode WiFi started working in mode N well.

  • What 802.11n card internal work with a Compaq CQ60-212US?

I hope to upgrade the laptop above to 802.11n, but I'm unable to find information on what the internal cards will work for her. It's an AMD Athlon X 2 sytem wiyh a Nvidia nforce chipset running Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit. The card he uses currently (802. 11 b / G) is a card Atheros 5007 based (part #459339-003). Base HP/Compaq made an Atheros 802.11n 5009 (manufacturer 482260-001) card which I believe may work, but my model is not listed in the compatibility list and I know that HP/Compaq are one of the companies that uses a 'white list' in the BIOS to prevent unauthorized devices to use.  I tried to ask by e-mail and they would not check the number and directed me to call their purchases as part Surfer do not have the list. I called and they said, there is one that would work but it is out of stock and they have no ETA on this subject and of course would not check the number. Any info on 802.11n cards that would work in this laptop that I would like to upgrade to high speed and that the ethernet connection is part of the chipset (even though Device Manager it ID as a 10/100/1000 is only 10/100 ) it is the only road I have so any information would be appreciated.

-After much research and hitting my head against the wall, I finally got my laptop upgraded using a HP 482260-001 internal NIC (a card Atheros 5009) based manufacturer and now have an 300Mbps connection solid of rock all the time. I know I've read a lot of the problems with this card so I thought I'd post a brief overview of what I had to do.

First - before Exchange you cards (unless you can connect to a wired LAN cable outlet) download the latest driver from HP for the Atheros card - even if this computer only provided with the card (5007 based) G the downloaded driver supports card 5009 N. depends on how do you the next step, you can save the file on a USB Flash drive.

Following installation the new card and either do a system restore to the point where the updates of Microsoft are deleted (it will mess up wireless connections - this too is a XP updates)-well mine did not for the next option was to do a full system restore to put the laptop to a 'new' State but mine has NEVER worked since the restore disks , I did or since the restore partition, so that leaves one last (option in addition to the PURCHASE of a set of disks to restore HP that they tried to sell me or uninstallation of 56 upgrades ONE BY ONE). If you know someone who has a Vista installation disc to borrow it and use the option UPGRADE to install the same version that you use the SAME key from the bottom of your laptop - this route 'upgrade' will restore your system with the original copy of Vista without losing any of your installed programs where are you got your restore to work , you would be at square one - you be the judge. Before anyone questions the legality of my last method here is the real deal - when you buy copy of Windows or a computer, you are not 'buy' Windows software - you pay for the license (as the key) to use a copy (unless you buy a copy of multi license) on a computer if Windows or use the method as long as you use YOUR key to install the SAME version of Windows is no legal - my installation activated with absolutely no problem and shows it as authentic.

OK - now if you need to re - install the driver updated for the Atheros card and at that time you should be able to connect to your wireless network. In my case, it would only connect at 54Mbps, and it turns out he was addicted to router and nothing to do Wicker card or driver. I had read that Vista doesn't like WEP so I stop ALL security/encryption on the router and NIC (not a good idea in general, but just to test) and the connection turned up to 300Mbps (no, not the max of 270Mbps reported some have reported with this card). I tried to change security settings and he kept falling back to 54 Mbps and then I spotted this in the sidebar of my router (Netgear WNR3500) aid:

"To achieve maximum wireless performance, as WN511B must connect to this router with the help of WPA2(with AES). «For the clients that connect to WPA - PSK (with TKIP), maximum speed wireless will be 802.11 g.»

So I put the router for the listed specifications before and my Atheros card stuck to the solid 300Mbps. This last part watch is obviously a problem of router/nic as before when I was running mobile WEP another computer security (brand begins with G ;-)) was ongoing execution using a card Linksys under XP (a plug in one on the side) to 270Mbps but now under new security my Compaq runs on 300Mbps, my 'G' works to 270Mbps and my cable network is running at 1000Mbps, and everybody is happy!)

The next step is to reinstall the updates of Windows one or 2 at a time until those that trashes the connection lies - uninstall and it block. When I get to this point I'll post the update # (unless someone beats me to it). It's a very summarized race to the bottom, so if you have any questions please message but I wanted people to know it's possible!

  • How can I update to network without WIRE Draft 802.11n draft 5742z-4200 adapter

I have an Acer Aspire 5742z-4200, and it came with a mini PCI-E card of draft 802.11n.  I didn't need much in the way of transfer speed out of the machine most of the time I've owned it, but now all of a sudden.

I bought two Inetl 802.11 b/g/n/ac cards, assuming that the PCI-E was a standard housing, and one card would work, like the other, but with different capacities.  That doesn't seem to matter of bethe.  After installation of each, the PC started very slowly, but has managed to load network tot connect drivers and even transfer files at lightning speed, compared to my connection 802.11 g.  But overall, the laptop is too slow to use.

A little research on Google introduced me to the term 'material whitelist.  I imagine that it is also possible tensions, frequency of the bus or whatever it is of another participant might be incompatible.  The PC works fine with the old card in it, so I don't think I have anything damaged.  Does anyone know what I need to do to upgrade the WLAN card in my laptop?  If I'm relegated to get a USB adapter?

    Thanks for your help!

OK, some more application of Google-fu, and I read more on the subject of the registration of the pins with more recently introduced functions.  Pin 20 seemed to have something to with a wireless radio turn off the feature that did not have previous PCIe slots/motherboards.  The symptom seems to be no visible from card otherwise functional networks.  PIN 51 resembled a new feature/issue and seemed to have something with the ability to disable the radio more than one.  (The 802.11ac card I got a bluetooth as well.)  It is manufactured by chipzilla, a nd a 2.4 and 5 Ghz frequencies for WLAN function. I wanted the frequencies and the 802.11ac and struggled to find one without Bluetooth.  It was $ 31).

This PC is quite old now (Core 2 Duo 2 Ghz, DDR3 1333 MHz RAM - a bit slow, but with a small SSD, it's fine for my purposes.) and not worth much and I save all the time so I decided to give it a shot.  I don't know the rules here to post links, so I don't want to, but they are not hard to find.  A few people have even posted revision of the Chipzilla official on the mini PCIe spec for the addition of several start/stop function triggered on the PIN 51 radio.  PIN Ribbon 51 seems to have solved the problem completely.

Yet now my machine starts quick, the transfer rate WiFi is what it should be and if I don't have any Bluetooth use, the devices all appear OK in Device Mangler.  I guess that all 802.11ac cards with several radio stations have this PIN 51 - multiple radio disable switch compatibility issues when used in older laptops.  I look around a bit for one with no Bluetooth, but saw nothing so I decided to try the hack.  If the thing starts to smoke or whatever it is, I'll come back and update this thread.  I wouldn't spread dangerous advice.

    Thanks again, Chris.

  • EA4500 - MBP problem 802.11n / 802. 11A

    Hi guys,.

I use the EA4500 for almost a month now and I'm loving. Fast & stable, but I noticed a problem. My Macbook Pro does not connect via 802.11n but rather that it uses the 802. 11A.

    screencapture:

I tried troubleshooting by using my other router Linksys WRTt310n and I noticed that my MBP is conencting for 802.11n.  So, basically, it is not a problem APPLE or MBP.

Is there any setting that I need to check?

    Thank you much in advance.

Make sure that WMM is enabled in the router QoS tab.

  • WRT1900ACS: Missing "802.11n only' and '802. "11A / n only" network Mode selections

On my new WRT1900ACS (ACv2, loaded with the latest firmware 1.0.0.169041) I want to force the two bands in 802.11n only, but I can not because the choice of "802.11n only" does not appear in the drop-down lists.

The only choices that appear on the Wireless tab are 'mixed', '802. "11b / g only", "802. 11 g-only", "802. 11 b only for 2 .4GHz' and '802.11ac only', '802. 11 a only"for 5 GHz.  It's as if Linksys has decided to remove the 802.11n choice from the graphical interface at some point.  Why?  I want this option of return.

The manual States that there is a choice for '802.11n only' for the two bands.

    From the manual (WRT1900ACS_FUG_ENandFR - CA.pdf):

    p. 41:

"You can then select Wireless-N only as network below Mode."

    p. 43:

    i. on the 2.4 GHz band, you can choose among the following:

    -Mixed technique

    -802. 11 b / g only

    -802. 11 g only

    -802.11 b only

    -802.11 n only

II. on the 5 GHz band, you can choose among the following:

    -Mixed technique

    -802. 11 a only

    -802.11ac only

    -802. 11A / n only

  • compatibility with 802.11n to 5.0 GHz frequency

Is the Thinkpad W701 (2541 CTO) compatible with 802.11n to 5.0 GHz.  I tried, it can not find the network to 5.0 GHz frequency. Please notify

No, unfortunately, it does not support any operation at 5 GHz:

    http://www.Realtek.com.tw/products/productsView.aspx?langid=1&PNid=21&PFID=48&level=5&Conn=4&ProdID=...

Frankly, I do not understand why Lenovo sells even such a laptop with nothing less than the Intel 6300 or 6250 WiFi cards. When you configure a W701 for the purchase, the link "Help me choose" for the WiFi cards:

    http://shop.Lenovo.com/SEUILibrary/controller/e/Web/LenovoPortal/en_US/SystemConfig.Runtime.workflow...

tells customers absolutely NOTHING on the map "ThinkPad bgn wireless" that Lenovo offers for sale with the machine. Is the closest they come to discuss the "ThinkPad 11 b/g Wireless LAN Mini PCI Express Adapter III" which is any other card having different abilities. Any more than they do not mention something on the Intel 6300 or 6250 cards provided with the machine. But they do not address the card Intel 4965AGN, which was sold 2-3 years ago and is no longer offered.

In short, link to "Help me choose" of Lenovo is totally unnecessary, and this has been a recurring problem on Lenovo configuration pages. Apparently, Lenovo has no one who is able and willing to re-read their configuration pages, and I see frequent complaints in ThinkPad forums about this.

The Intel 6300 and 6250 support 802.11n at 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz operation. You can replace your existing card by one of them, but instead of paying $30-50 or more to buy the card online retailers, you will have to pay extra (generally $ 150-200 for the WiFi cards) rather buy the map directly from Lenovo, because otherwise the computer will not start.

For the best WiFi, buy the Intel 6300. If you want to than WiMAX, which is a 4G service in some areas, instead buy the Intel 6250, although the 6250 WiFi performance than the 6300 has.
