  • BlackBerry smartphones is browser Blackberry Blackberry Services

    I have a Playbook and want to increase its functionality by investing in a Blackberry smart phone. There are a few things I'm not sure and would appreciate advice from participants in the forum:

    1. The Blackberry browser automatically comes with the 9320 curve or is it only available if you pay for the Services of Blackberry?
    2. Are there other features (other than the Blackberry e-mail access and e-mail) that comes with the paid for services?

    4. What is the oldest version of Outlook that can be synchronized with a smartphone?

    Hello... and apologies for the late reply.

    The browser comes as part of the core OS BB on the device, but depending on the level of the OS, it may or may not be able to operate without an adequate data plan subscription. Some (most recent) OS levels allow the browser to function very well via WiFi BB only, while others limit the browser race strictly via BIS (even when WiFi is the data connection only). Opera can be installed on the BB as a replacement browser and normally works very well when WiFi is available. Many 3rd party applications have parameters of configuration inside of them to direct the application to use BIS, BES, WiFi, etc. for their course of data... we must be sure to have the apps configured correctly to allow them access to a functional way, especially when BIS is not due to no data plan subscription.

    See for general guidance:

    It is not quite fully updated for the newer operating system levels (see above re: BB browser), but it is generally reasonable to use.

    Other than BBM and SMS (in newer versions of PB/BB/bridge), I don't know any way to run, your PB, whatever your BB at all. On the BB, he has the ability to remote control of the PB (via Bridge of BB), but not the other way around as far as I understand. Since you will not subscribe bis, you won't have BBM anyway.

    See this orientation:

    • KB12268 Support for synchronization for BlackBerry Desktop Software for Windows

    It is not in itself a function of the smartphone... but rather the version of the desktop software that is in use.

    Good luck!

  • Photosmart Premium C310a worked wireless for 2 years is suddenly dissconnected

    I have been successfully using my Photosmart C310a for 2 years.  I used a day earlier this week, and the next he said: it is disconnected. The State of the network printer shows that it is connected to my network - the same network, use my laptop and desktop.  Computers are simply not able to communicate with the printer.  I tried to use a solution that I read on the forum by entering the ip address of the printer in my browser, but the browser comes up with the error that it cannot connect to 192.168.1.102. I tried HP and Scan Dr. Printing without solution (because it is impossible to connect with the printer - although it does not find the printer for me to select.)  I reset my router, unplugged the printer and reset to the factory settings.  I tried to disable the firewall, but I did no changes firewall and the printer worked until earlier this week.

    Unfortunately, it doesn't help that my black ink no longer works, so I can't print the diagnostic reports. The cartridge is new and worked fine before this cut happened.  Ink level is showing as complete.  I tried "clean cartridges" twice, but when I tried "align printer" alignment failed.

    I love this printer and do not overwork it - I hope someone can help me...

    I think I have fixed both my problems!

    I completely restarted and reset my router and then my printer has been reconnected.  Then I could get into the tool box and clean the print heads to get black print again. And has then been successful in aligning the printer.

    Also, I decided to try a solution given by 'PrintDoc' in one of his posts to someone who has a similar problem of disconnection.  I put a manual ip address.  I hope that this will solve the future problems of disconnection.  Here are the instructions:

    The best solution that works sometimes is to set a static IP address:

    -Print a the front of the printer Network Setup Page. Note the IP address of the printer.
    -Enter the IP address in a browser to reveal the internal settings of the printer.
    -Choose the network tab, then wireless along the left side, then on the IPv4 tab.
    -On this screen, you want to set a manual IP address. You must assign an IP address outside the range that the router sets automatically (called the DHCP range). If you know what it is, set an IP address outside this range but not exceeding 254 (the last number of the address).  If you don't know it, enter the current IP address.
    -Apply the subnet 255.255.255.0 (unless you know it's different, if so, use it)
    -Let the gateway and DNS white.  Click on ' apply

    Now, stop the router and printer, start the router, wait, and then start printing.

    If this does not work, change the channel of your router to 11.  Yes, that sounds strange... just try it.

  • Questions of blackBerry Smartphones BlackBerry Curve

    Hello everyone, I'm about to buy my first blackberry and I have a lot of questions.  I plan buy 2 different people the storm and curve.  I'll start with the curve since it is the one I will use.

    Is there a html browser?

    I can google things and visit all the websites, I want? Like youtube, myspace, forums, hotmail?

    Can I connect to my laptop and use it to access the internet when I'm somewhere that does not have internet for my laptop? If so, is it easy to do?   (Access to the Internet for my laptop is a breaker of a big deal for me at the time to decide which phone to buy.)

    Can I access my account from outlook express from BB curve?

    Does anyone have the curve and the keyboard is easy to type with.

    The curve has 3G technology and what is anyway and why is it important or not important?

    And what the heck is bluetooth? I honestly don't know what or how it works.

    Hello and welcome to the Forums of Support BlackBerry.com.

    STG says:

    Hello everyone, I'm about to buy my first blackberry and I have a lot of questions.  I plan buy 2 different people the storm and curve.  I'll start with the curve since it is the one I will use.

    Is there a html browser? Yes. Out of the box if it has OS 4.2 on the device, not ideal for browser HTML, but yes,'s done it. The best full browser comes with the operating system upgrade to 4.5

    I can google things and visit all the websites, I want? Like youtube, myspace, forums, hotmail?

    Almost all. You'll need OS 4.5 on the curve for streaming video to youtube, go to 'm.youtube.com '. There is no flash drive on the BB, so Flash sites don't do so well. Mobile optimized sites, or sites WAP sites are even better.

    Can I connect to my laptop and use it to access the internet when I'm somewhere that does not have internet for my laptop? If so, is it easy to do?   (Access to the Internet for my laptop is a breaker of a big deal for me at the time to decide which phone to buy.)

    Yes, on most carriers you can "attach" your laptop for the BB as a modem. Some carriers charge extra for this service - for example ATT and Verizon do, Tmobile does not work.

    Can I access my account from outlook express from BB curve?

    Why? You must configure your e-mail in order to PUSH directly on the BlackBerry. That can only make sense to you, once you're running. You will not access your account Outlook Express on your PC, but rather the service Blackberry RIM will go to your email provider and 'recovery of email' and 'push' to your BlackBerry.

    Does anyone have the curve and the keyboard is easy to type with. Millions of people have the curve. It is quite easy to type with. I used a wide. The keyboard is very nice.

    The curve has 3G technology and what is anyway and why is it important or not important?

    No, no 3G (although the 8330 on Verizon basically since their EVDO network is basically 3G.

  • reformatting of the text does not

    I think I have perhaps confused response to the machines and tools used for each. I was under the impression that Edge reflow is used for the design, but only the graphics of the reflow item are resized properly. Items created using text tool, selection add and add a tools in box doesn't resize and flow correctly.

    I'm running the Mavericks. I need to upgrade to Yosemite for all items tools edge reflow correctly flow?

    Or should I use Muse to ebb for Adaptive and responsive design?

    Or the other of these tools work actually as advertised or should I just stick with Dreamweaver or Wordpress to achieve the true, those layouts?

    Reflow is strictly for CSS... We must therefore know CSS to use wisely...

    For the scale of the elements correctly you may need to change the anchor from left to right so they will scale when the right side of the browser comes in contact with them...

    No there is no need to change your operating system to run web programs because they are based on the rules of browser...

    Muse could be good for you if you are more graphic... Muse is designed for not having the user never touch any code... Its basically indesign for the web and it will even import indesign projects inside...

    To make your attentive service you really just need to put in place the correct CSS with questions from the media... You do this in reflow by setting break points...

    Here's the W3 documentation on media - CSS3 @media Query queries

    This is what reflow in the background...

  • Persist for anonymous user

    If I set persistOrdersForAnonymousUsers = true in the basket. Properties will persist the order? Or do I have to set an additional property to set the profile anonymous true as well? Once again how to use this behavior with the cookie?

    If you are not persisted the order, the order will be transitional for this particular session and when the user has left the session he'll lose this order. Next time, when it comes to a new session will be created and a new order so, no matter which instance serves as the answer. You may have seen that the order is to take for a particular scenario in which you close just a tab on the browser, in this case, the session continues.

    I instance1 and instance2 - but when user go www.mydomain.com, if instance 1 were the cart was created, today date limit user browser comes back if this instance of time 2 is to serve the request to the anonymous user does not see the basket.

    If you are not persistent anonymous order and cookie based not allowing authentication do not, user will never see his previous cart regardless of the instance that is the answer.

    See you soon

  • Are there anyone experiencing problems of DPS with HTML resources on iOS8?

    We have a resources HTML pdf file which works fine in iOS7, but the inline browser comes in white with launched in iOS8. We tested with a folio 31 and a folio 27 iOS8.

    It is a known issue, it will be addressed in our version v32 expected in a little less than a week.

    Hello
    Try to use more stuff from code in your action button to close the current browser window.

    FacesContext facesContext = FacesContext.getCurrentInstance();
    org.apache.myfaces.trinidad.render.ExtendedRenderKitService service = org.apache.myfaces.trinidad.util.Service.getRenderKitService(facesContext, ExtendedRenderKitService.class);
    service.addScript(facesContext, "window.close();window.opener.location.href = window.opener.location.href;");

  • 1parent the nested child w/4 < div > < div > last 2 move in fire fox not IE7

    I've done the unspeakable; I slit images in ps4 transported to DW4 cut out pictures inserted div tags parent for the editable as, flash file and the text. Everthing for the flash worked fine.  All the following code worked well: < div id = "title" > welcome < / div > < div id = "body_txt" > thank you forcoming < / div >.   I tested this Fox of fire and Explorer 7 and everything was beautiful.  I thought that I was in charge!  Then I inserted two more children < div > tags with separate CSS rules in the same division of parent I tested then in IE7... everything was great... then tested in Fire Fox (FF) and the last 2 moved to the top.  It seems that there is a space between the child divs, which can be compromised with firefox or there is some unknown padding going on in FF.   I've attached screenshots of IE7, FF and DW4... My code base below:

    Parent < div >

    {background

    background - image: URL(images/index2_04.jpg);

    Width: 427px;

    height: 413px;

    margin: 0px;

    }

    Child < div >

    #text {}

    text-align: left;

    do-family: tahoma;

    font size: 24 PX.

    make-style: normal;

    line-height: normal;

    make-weight: bolder;

    do-variant: normal;

    padding-left: 90px;                                                                    ;

    padding-top: 10px;                                                                                         ;

    }

    Child < div >

    {#text_body}

    text-align: left;

    do-family: tahoma;

    font size: 13px;

    make-weight: bold;

    Color: #000;

    padding-right: 10px;

    padding-top: 0px;

    padding-bottom: 0px;

    top: auto;

    margin-top:-10px;

    }

    Child < div >

    {#small_title}

    do-family: tahoma;

    do-size: 18px;

    make-weight: bold;

    color: #FFF;

    text-align: right;

    top of the margin: 28px;

    padding-right: 80px;

    }

    Child < div >

    {#smallbody_text}

    font size: 13px;

    make-weight: bold;

    text-align: right;

    do-family: tahoma;

    Color: #000;

    top: auto;

    padding-right: 20px;

    padding-top: 0px;

    padding-bottom: 0px;

    margin-top: 0px;

    }

    < td > < div class = "background" >

    < div id = "big_title" > welcome to our site / < d >

    < div id = "text_body" > < p > jkl klj; jklj; j < /p >

    < p > jkl; j; ljljkl;.  & service; & nbs; & gt; & gt; < a href = "index1.html" > more < /a > < /p >

    < / div >

    < div id = "small_title" > 5 easy steps < / div > < div id = "smallbody_text" > jkljkl; JKL; jklkl; jkljkl < br > jkl; JKL; < / div >

    < / div > < table >

    Variation of browser comes with the territory. A trick I use is to reset settings to default browser on everything with a universal selector (*).  Then manually add line-heights, margins and padding to the individual if required selectors.

    CSS:

    / * zero default browser settings * /.

    * {margin: 0; padding: 0; line-height: 100%; do-size: 100 %}}

    {p}

    line-height: 1.5;

    do-size: 1em;

    color: #FFF;

    margin-bottom: 1.5em;

    Padding: 12px;

    }

    H1, h2, h3 {margin-bottom: 1.8em; padding: 12px ;}}

  • site loads great in Firefox but not internet explorer, why?

    Hello

    I built my first good website with Dreamweaver CS4.  I learned that I'm going and to get to a finished site, so I was very happy!

    Anyway, I previewed and loaded and played back on Firefox and Safari and the site was well in both.   But when my husband read using Internet Explorer, it says that the graphic logo was not clear.

    Is anyone know why and what I need to do to make it compatible in all browsers?

    Please keep in mind, that I have not Internet Explorer as am only using a MAC so cannot listen to samples here!  (why is it now?  allows you to be able to get for a Mac...?)

    Thanking you in advance

    Mich

    Mich,

    It is always better to optimize the images in your graphics editor for the exact dimensions required in the page. If you use HTML to resize the images, you will get distorted anything.

    While you check the site, you may be interested to know that there is essentially no content on your site for the search engines, the translators, the screen readers and the other assistive devices to the web to grab.

    To view your site the way that search engines, use this tool http://www.seo-browser.com/

    You might want to rethink the practice of using pictures instead of actual HTML content.

    Just my 3 cents.
