  Yes you are right... The operating system command should be part of the automated process, I mean if you combine these file loading process (Interface, procedure, etc.) in a package of ODI, then the command BONES to get all the names of files in the FOLDER should be one of the steps in the package of ODI. For this, you can use ODI OS command component.

  I think that what is happening because you also delete the file from the file extension.

  For example, you have an image file named "image.jpg" and you rename to 'image' ".jpg" is deleted which means that the file will lose its connection with the program, which is designed to open it.

  You can hide the file extensions by:

  1. Select start > my computer
  2. click on tools > Folder Options
  3. go to the view tab and check "Hide extension for known file types".
  4. click on OK

I met some difficulties for this problem, but all were for the latest operating systems such as Vista and XP so I didn't run the risk of ruining my registry even more by running an obsolete program.   It would certainly be a job for a written custom script. Without scripts, I might consider using the Index feature in InDesign. Indexing is manual work very well.

  Here's another approach introduced in InDesign CS6. It is now much easier create flexible layouts using create another Layout.

  I have reproduced a presentation of 15 pages, set up in the format letter to implementation at the level of 75% (6.375 "x 8.25").

  I used the liquid layout Panel to set master pages to the liquid rule in scale. This is changing everything on the page.

  

  Then I selected all pages of the document, and applies control main liquid rule layout.

  

  I created a new custom page called 75% scale size.

  Then I chose the layout > create an alternative page layout. In the dialog, I selected the size of the original page and choose the size of the other page:

• Ghost images between cuts to export after the edition of interlaced images

  When I change a few sequences in the order that are defined to be interlaced and I do some changes specific to the source, I find myself with a few images of 'ghosts' arise between cuts in export. However these ghost images are visible only in vlc and other external drives. If I import export in PP, there will be no ghost image to be seen.

  If you use the interlaced source material and mounted on an interlaced timeline, must match the domination of the field in the source and chronology.

• Set the export file based on the name of the Collection?

  I would like to be able to parameters predefined export that would save the selected pictures in a subfolder within my file of export with the name of the subfolder automatically value corresponds to the collection (or a set of collection) name.   I would like to automate this is to say that I can't wait to put up the pictures, I could go ahead and export them without having to edit a lot and then manually cut and paste of c:\Photos\Exports in a Summer2012 folder. If later, I apply alterations to photos, it would be much more convenient to use a predefined export, knowing that they would automatically update the files in the Summer2012 folder, rather than having to do another manual cut and paste every time or manually select the folder if you choose the option "Choose the folder" later. Is there another way to do what I'm looking for? Thank you.
