5 Lightroom Setup file doesn't download, no error message
I tried to download Lightroom 5 several times now, and whenever the download is 100% complete with no error message, but the installation files are not actually saved on my hard drive. I downloaded 5 other CC applications without any problem and meet the minimum requirements of the system. I also tried to change the save location. Help, please!
WhitneyKirkPMRG I would recommend you uninstall Lightroom. You will then want to reinstall using the creative cloud application. You can find more information on the installation at http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/topics/getting-started.html?promoid=JZEFO.
You must install Lightroom through the application of creative cloud so that your subscription to apply.

I have HP Windows Vista Home Basic 32-bit. Cannot open .exe files. I get the error message by side configuration is incorrect. In the event log, it says error in manifest or policy file as a component version required by the application in conflict with one another component version already active. The two components are: c: Program Files\Viewer\Microsoft.VC80.CRT.MANIFEST.
Problems arise when I deleted some files (don't remember which) I am now myself for kicks. Then I completely restored my system with a restore cd, upgrading to vista, downloaded all the updates and everything else works fine only problem is the opening of .exe files. Can someone please help? I'm no computer wiz only right following the indications :)

Follow these methods and see if the problem still occurs.
Method 1:
Scan an System File Checker (SFC) on your computer and see if that fixes the problem.
Method 2:
Test the issue in a clean boot State.
Note: follow step 7 to your computer as usual.

I have recently installed Windows 10 free update. Now I am unable to delete .pdf files and get the invalid error message "Function MS-DOS." It has never been a problem with the previous Windows 8.1. I contacted Microsoft technical support and they told me there is a problem with the .pdf application and I need to contact Adobe Acrobat. This can be corrected?
uninstall any version of acrobat is installed.
clean by Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat tool - Adobe Labs
Restart your computer.
delete all to delete pdf files.
If this fails, it is a problem of ms. If this attempt is successful, then reinstall your acrobat.

I solved this problem by cleaning the folder C:\Program Files (x 86) \Common Files\Adobe\SLCache.

Cannot download game - error message "cannot create the temporary file.
Run windows 7 Home premium edition. Don't let me download games on a gaming site (Zylom). Used to have no problem with XP. Now on a new computer and cannot block the security settings. I get the error message - "unable to create the temporary file. It's very frustrating because it goes through the procedure of full download and then does it all at the end! Help, please... 6 Lightroom doesn't open, no error message, stuck with trying to open
Someone at - it help him? I tried to restart my PC and close but Lightroom 6 does not open correctly, it seems not blocked, no error message. The night before I stopped back upward at the beginning when the program is closed I didn't made any changes. I tried to find the lrcat.lock file that is proposed by someone else but can't find it with search for Solution Explorer.

You can delete these files via the command prompt, if your window closes...

For example, if your file is present in the "C:\Users\user1\Downloads".
Type cd C:\Users\user1\Downloads and press enter in the command prompt.
(3) Delete (Remove) the file name using the "del" command.
For example, if your video file name is "sample.mp4.
Led sample.mp4 type and press enter in the command prompt.

After a horrible experience with the upgrade of Windows 10, I re-installed Windows 7 Pro and had to reinstall all my programs. When I try to install the retail DVD of Lightroom 6 version, I got and error message that Lightroom does not support the Vista operating system. This is NOT Vista; It is Windows 7 Pro x 64 SP with installed updates. Installation stops there and will not continue! I then reinstalled my old version of Lightroom 5.2 (who has updated to 5.7) without problem. How can I bypass the installation process that incorrectly detects Vista?

Creative cloud resettlement problems: impossible to download, misleading error messages
Hi all
I work with an iMac since late 2007, with a 320 GB HD, 6 GB of RAM, Mac OSX 10.10.5 (Yosemite) running. I got creative cloud installed since last year; I was warned to InDesign, and recently I updated with Acrobat DC.
I tried to open the creative cloud in order to buy a license of Photoshop, but I noticed the completely empty desktop guarded CC application. I tried to download it again to reinstall it, but when you run the installer, it stopped almost immediately with 201 (failed) error message code to connect to the server. I thought it was strange, because the rest of the computers on my office could download it without problem. I disabled the firewall, the connections of cables to exchange with other computers, I asked my computer if I had any software or hardware blocks in my machine, which he reassured there no (so, once I could download and install CC, InDesign and Acrobat, so...).
Connection problems have been rejected, all of this sounds a little weird, and I thought I had something corrupt on my machine. So I uninstalled creative cloud so he reinstalled again, but I had to do it using AppCleaner, because the uninstall program does not work either. After that, InDesign has continued to work and showed that I was actually connected with my user. I thought that was strange, not creative cloud but my user still works, but although I could work with InDesign, anyway, I wanted to reinstall creative cloud. Then I went to delete older versions of Adobe products (also using AppCleaner), in which case they gave me problems, and after that I used Adobe CC Cleaner, as suggested. I accidentally deleted InDesign with the last step (oh, please, kill me!)
But, although I have no problem connecting, downloading installation Creative cloud continues to display error message 201 code. I copied the files of the application from an another iMac and copied into Application Folders on my machine (in a kind of Act desperate to Wuthering Heights, with no sense, I know), and now the installation process stops with the 201 error or message code 49. It was something... I followed the instructions to fix code error message 49, but downloading installation always stops with 201.
Then I learned that I can have a look at the Setup logs, and while I was muttering to myself "hodor, hodor, hodor, I noticed this error in ACC.log:

I am trying to download icloud on my computer running windows7 and an error message "the system administrator has set up ploicys to prevent this installation" but I'm the admin and don't know how to fix.
